Written Update: July 1st (Complete)

Pankaj's mom, dad and choti ma are waiting for everyone to come for breakfast. Jyoti and pankaj arrive but choti ma thinks that jyoti is not dressed up enough to meet all the ladies and tells pankaj's mom so. Uday and pankaj's brother arrive and tease each other. Choti ma tells jyoti to take care not to put too much oil or sugar in pankaj's dad food making him sad and everyone else laugh. Meenal shows up and after getting a look form Choti Ma, Pankaj's mom skillfully tells Meenal that she didnt do her farz because she didnt dress jyoti up. Meenal says she will and says it is her advantage anyways because she can take whatever she likes from jyoti's suitcase. Jyoti thinks to herself that she has nothing in there that will be good enough for her. They leave together.

Sudha brings medicine that she bought to kk. He says she should have asked deepu to buy it but she says that she can do it just like jyoti did. She asks if he needs anything as she will get it on her way back from the library and he says no. SHe leaves and he wonders how she knew that his medicine was finished and which ones to buy.

Padma asks Sudha if she gave kk the medicine and sudha says yes and then thanks her for the reminder.

jyoti is wondering what she has the meenal will like when meenal finds a murti and asks if she can have it. Jyoti says yes and says she can have whatever she likes in the future as well. Meenal thanks her and then shows her the sari she has chosen.

They go downstairs to the kitchen and pankaj's mom says she looks like their bahu now. Dad shows up asking for food and they say they will make food as soon as the rasam is done. choti ma says to hurry because she is already late. MOm says that after that jyoti will make halwa and jyoti looks worried. When asked she says she doesnt know much about cooking and when choti ma asks she says she never got time to learn but can make chapatti. Choti ma (CM) looks angry and says she will have to work hard to learn because the servants dont cook. Mom says what she knows is ok after exchanging a look with dad as she is there and dad also cooks very well. He agrees and says he learnt it after retirement and is the best cook everywhere, mom tells him to leave. they do pooja.

Jyoti serves eveyone halwa which they praise. CM says she will have to learn to do it on her own next time and mom says she did do it on her own and i didnt help much. pankaj says it is a little sweet and they all tease him saying of course it is since jyoti's hands are sweet. mom and dad have a cute moment when she is signalling for him to give naig. Jyoti says he is giving her too much money and CM tells her to get used to it and knows that she must be surprised since it is more than her salary. everyone looks a little uncomfortable after she says this. She then signals to uday who gives her an envelope which has air plane tickets to mumbai for that night. dad tells them to get ready because the tickets are for that night and wants breakfast. jyoti and pankaj say "tonight" at the same time and everyone laughs.

Pankaj is packing things and when jyoti asks he says he can do it on his own and asks her what colours she is packing and what she will wear on the flight. When she says red he tells her to wear blue as it will suit her. He says he tells CM the same because it suits their personalities. He says he knows what she looks like and poetically describes her. They have a moment and she teases him for being a poet and he joking compares her to old actresses, the ones he could see before he lost his sight. He tells her he admires her maan the most and then leaves when a servant calls him.

uday comes in and tells her he wishes he could be going on his honey moon. when she says he should get married he says he needs a girl. He asks jyoti about sudha and asks if she is sure that is her name and jyoti says of course as it is his sister. he says he has seen her before and she says it is possible as they live in the same place and he says he saw her at the disco. Jyoti stares at him in shock.
