Truth will soon be revealed about Sudha.

The shows moving on brilliantly and with Jyoti's upcoming wedding Sudha's condition will be out in the open soon. Especially as the guy she was with as Devika is definately Pankaj's brother.

No, they showed Pankaj's mom yesterday - the fat lady - and she's completely different from the lady who Devika met the night she went from the club to Uday's house, or whose credit card Sudha returned.

I know that Uday's mom told him that he couldn't marry until his elder bro did, but doesn't look like the elder bro in question is Pankaj. Maybe it's someone offscreen, and they can easily resolve this by showing Uday returning from his bro's marriage in another city the next time they show him.

Incidentally, I think the news of Jyoti's engagement, while otherwise happy news, will really shock Sudha, since she'll now feel completely isolated, and that's what will bring out the next Devika incident. If it happens in front of everybody, well, then it's out. The other way they could do it is show Sudha reacting to the news by becoming Devika, then going and eloping w/ Uday - almost a shotgun wedding registration - and doing one of the 2 things:

a. Disappearing after the wedding, a la Cinderella
b. Going home, getting all her things out, confronting for the final time her folks while in her Devika avatar, and going away for good to her new sasural

If they go w/ a) above, they could show Uday hunting for Devika, finally finding and claiming Sudha, and convincing her family to let him marry her. That would provide a platform for the merger of Sudha and Devika.

Anyway, I just can't wait to see this chapter

Seeing today's episode, and given the plot so far, w/ Jyoti reluctant to discuss her family w/ her in-laws, there is another way Sudha can attend the wedding, w/o anyone else attending. Lets say that Jyoti keeps this a secret from her family, and Sudha, for a different reason, suddenly turns into Devika in one of the next few episodes, on the night of Jyoti's wedding. She goes to the club, and not finding Uday there, goes to his house just before they are leaving for the wedding, and so he asks her to accompany him to the wedding. So she goes, and there, she, as Devika, sees Jyoti get married.

That's one way to do it. And neither she nor Jyoti really recognize each other - let's say Jyoti/Kalpana spots her, but her constant speaking in English, as well as her mannerisms, convince her that it's not Sudha, while Devika doesn't know Jyoti or Kalpana, and so can't make out whose wedding she's at, aside from Uday's cousin.
