I had one serious question though... in most novels... even when the male lead is a brooding jacka** acting all high and mighty, the female lead is physically aroused, oftentimes in the first meeting itself, to the level of almost wanting to f*ck at first sight.. (pardon my language) I've seen this trend in Indian writers too... I just want to know is that how it is nowadays? Isn't sh*tty behavior a turn off anymore?
Her name is Akanksha
And omg yess! It’s such a weird trend...and yeshhh...kinda sends the wrong message too. being disrespectful becoming sexy?!!!
That's why I look for soft romance books. Or something like PBD, NJAPA, HBAS!
These white authors are writing shit in the name of teenage love. I still like the old school romance novels.
school ke baad milna...chup chup ke msg karna...etc etc
Sadly writers don't write such books these days ... you are right. Such faltu trend it is .. but it is what it is
which indian novel u read btw? jisme aisa tha?
But that said... there are some really good books out there where the chemistry builds naturally...I guess it just depends on the writer and the kind of story they want to tell. ... I’m always more drawn to the ones with actual depth in the characters
Btw you read novels???
which ones have you read?
P.S. - yahi sab k wajah se I've stopped reading romance. I'm more into Khaled Hosseini's books these days ... Jhumpa Lahiri, Amish Tripathi too ! And sometimes RK Narayan
