Shalini"Hey Jodha", shouted resulting in the four turned towards her but after seeing a girl was calling Jodha both boys headed towards the exit after signalling the girls to continue.

Jodha"hey Shalini".

Shalini"Congrs Jodha", said with a fake smile.

Jodha" thanks", replied with a genuine smile.

Shalini" but wait a minute on what should I congratulate you", faking a confuse look" on winning the best project title or for winning or should I say trapping the best boy".

The words left Jodha and Trisha stunned and confused

Jodha"I___", fumbled, tried to reply but couldn't say anything.

Shalini"oh so now you are pretending like you don't know anything miss touch me not.

What do you think, nobody has seen what's happening between you and Jalal; sitting for long hours on projects, always going together and ya, of course, the hug.

Hearing such allegations Jodha was on the verge of breaking down

Trisha"you think I am stupid I know you are just taking revenge on Jo for the humiliation which you faced on our fresher's party where you got crowned as miss fresher's only because Jodha was not there you were just a replacement of her as Jo was not interested in parties so she missed the fresher's party and it was Jo who was first announced as a miss fresher's of our batch.

Hearing all this the confident girl got numb for a second", How dare you said me a replacement of this cheap and good for nothing b_", hissed Shalini.

But before she could complete the word a tight slap landed on the jealous girl' face by the protective friend.

On which the now calmed friend just nodded her head and both girls left the place leaving the fuming girl behind.

Shalini's pov

"You both have to pay for this I will not leave you both that easily.

Trisha, you slapped me for your so-called best friend na I will see how long your friendship will last and you Jodha only bcoz of you I got humiliated for the second time you will pay for it and that's a promise."

Roby" where are these girls man", asked while waiting near the college gate.

Jalal" how do I know this, they must be coming", answered scrolling on his iPhone.

Just then both girls came

Roby"finally here they are, so what take you so long", asked the moment they came near them, but both girls remained silent.

Jalal" forget it so let's go somewhere to celebrate our victory, what say Jodha", asked finally looking at her.

Jodha" No jalal I am not interested besides I am having a headache so I just want to go home and want to have some rest", said while avoiding any type of eye contact.

After seeing her dull face, Jalal"Something happens Jodha suddenly headache, I mean you were fine before", asked suspiciously.

Jodha"No it's just that I was tired now, you na these past days were too hectic due to the project. Moreover, I want to do studies as exams are coming also plus you know na I don't like parties type sure", said in pleading tone.

Jalal"are you sure this is the reason for your sudden leaving ", enquired.

On this Trisha was going to blurt out the truth but after getting a signal from her best friend stopped right away which didn't go unnoticed by Jalal.

Controlling her emotions again, Jodha " Ya I am very sure "; said while turning away from him, "Trisha let's go its really aching, I want to have some rest", said while holding her hand.

Trisha" Ok let's leave ".

But before the suspicious boy could enquire further the tensed girl already dragged her friend away after saying a small bye leaving the confused boys behind.

The moment both girls entered their apartment, Trisha" how dare she could say something like that about you if you haven't stopped me I would have____".

But stopped in her tracks after seeing her friends gloomy face

Trisha"hey Jo don't take her words seriously she is a stupid and arrogant girl", consoled while taking her broken friend in a warm embrace but received no response.

Trisha"you want to talk about it", asked calmly.

Jodha" No I just want to be alone for some time", said with tear-filled eyes.

Jodha"please"; request giving her pleading look.

On this jodha just nodded her head and left for her room.

At night after finding the real reason behind jodhas sudden change of mood

Jala" how could someone say like that about Jodha", asked while fuming with anger remembering the words again and again.

Roby"what happened and about whom you are talking about?", asked who still had no clue of anything.

Jalal"I had just called Abhi he told me the real reason behind jodhas sudden headache."

Roby"what do you mean dude".

On this Jalal told him the whole incident after they both left the class

Roby"that's why Jodha was looking upset and Trisha angry".

Roby" she is crying too and hasn't eaten anything".

Hearing the plight of his Jo without wasting a second Jalal dialled her number after many rings she finally picked up his call but without uttering a single word.

Jalal"hey Jodha, how are you feeling now, how's your headache", asked in a casual tone.

Jodha"H...hi Jalal", replied after taking a deep breath," ya its better now", continued while controlling her tears to hide her plight.

Hearing her teary voice the concerned boy heart pierced

Jalal"oh good so you must have your dinner too", asked while controlling himself from scolding her.

Jodha"ya I have just finished it".

Jalal hissed" stop it Jodha", after his last string of patience got broken, "stop telling the lies".

Jodha " what do you mean jalal I don't get it", asked while playing dumb.

Jalal" I know everything that happened with Shalini".

Hearing this Jodha just got

Jalal"Are you there", asked with worry-filled voice.

Jodha" W...wo..woh, I am n..ot feeling goodbye", said hurriedly to save herself from further embarrassment and was about to cut the call.

Jalal"don't even think about cutting the call Jo", fumed making the sad girl stopped right there and continued"just listen to me once if you ever considered me as a friend".

On this Jodha just remained silent and taking it as a yes, Jalal" listen Jodha on others opinion and words you shouldn't blame yourself or feel shameful regarding your own self, whatever she said was all rubbish, she was just a jealous girl", tried to reason.

Jodha"how can you say that", asked in her teary voice.

Jalal" because I know you and also know what you are".

Jodha" and what am I ", asked while sniffing.

Jalal"you are the most innocent and purest girl that I have ever seen and met who can't harm anyone neither intentionally nor unintentionally.Not just that you are intelligent, smart and of course most beautiful girl", told in most genuine voice.

Jodha"really?", asked hesitantly.

Jalal"Really Jo", said in a reassuring voice.

Hearing all this Jodha finally felt relieved and relaxed

Jalal"now stop crying as I don't like to hear your gloomy voice, I want to hear your cheery voice", pleaded in a child-like voice which resulted in making Jodha giggled a little and hearing her giggling jalal felt relieved.
