Roby"See Trisha I told you that day also for jalal his ego is the more important even sometimes above his friendship but you did not listen to me", tried to reason"now to win jodhas attention he will try to be with her as much as he can".

Roby"Trisha, baby u r not getting my point", tried to make her understand but the poor bf had no luck in that case as he knew very well that its waste of time to argue with her.

Roby"Forget about it let's discuss our project remember".

At canteen

Jalal"Ok let's forget about it and concentrate on our project but before that".

Jodha"What before that", asked with a confusing look.

hearing the unexpected demand Jodha firstly got shocked but before she could reply.

Jalal"I mean think about it its not a bad idea and besides I am not asking u to become my gf", said hurriedly seeing her expression of rejection, "See on the bright side with this friendship we will become more comfortable with each other".

After hearing all the reasonable explanation

Jodhas POV

"He is right since we will work together and that too for five days it will not be awkward between us and he seems to be a nice guy plus he helped me before. But what will I do with that current.

hey Kanha! where have you stuck me

what should I say yes or no I guess yes will be better and maybe because of this friendship I could get rid off from that stupid current, ya right that will be perfect".

Jalal"where are you lost", asked when he noticed her lost again.

Jodha"Nowhere ya we can become friends", answered with hesitancy.

After getting a satisfactory answer Jalal felt like on cloud nine, the delighted boy extended his hand to give a start to their new friendship which got accepted by the nervous girl hesitantly.

As usual, both felt that sensation again but both ignored it due to their own reasons, Jalal due to his ego and Jodha out of some unknown fear.

Jalal"ya one more thing I like flirting and I am sure you won't mind ", said with a wink.

But before the shocked girl could reply back

Jalal" Now enough of talking, Let's just concentrate on our project since we have only five days dear, we have no time to waste".

Jodha"ya you are right", agreed while placing her books on the table.

With this, both started discussing their topic during the whole discussion Jalal was trying his best to seek Jodha's attention who was trying her level best to ignore his charms.

After one hour of discussion finally, both agreed on one topic

Jalal"ok so we will start our project tomorrow with our respective researches, what says".

Jodha"ok that's a good idea as it will save our time and with this, we can discuss our views on it and will do the changes according to it."

Jalal" yup, so how will you go seems like Trisha is busy in her project with her bf, how about I drop u and don't worry I am a good driver".

But before jodha could say something they again heard the familiar voice

Trisha"U don't need to trouble yourself jalal since I am here for jo", said with a sly smirk on her face.

But before the irritated young man could say something Trisha "Let's go Jo", said completely ignoring the furious boy, on this jodha just got up with a gratified smile completely oblivious of the current situation.

Jodha" Ok bye Jalal", said with a small smile.

Jalal"bye Jodha see u tomorrow", replied with a forced smile.

With this, both bestz moved towards the exit but Trisha stopped near the canteen gate

Trisha"oh no I forget my mobile in the canteen, you just go in the parking lot and take the keys, Jo, I will come in a minute", said while handing her the keys.

Jodha just nodded her head and moved from there.

Trisha"Hey Jalal", greeted the angry boy who turned his head hearing the voice with the very same angry expression.

Jalal"Now what you want", growled.

Trisha"Chill dude, Don't take it seriously I just did it because u talked rudely with my bf ", said while turning around " and ya Roby is waiting for u outside as usual".

But before the frustrated boy could say something the pleased girl already left the place.

At night in Trisha's apartment

Jodhas POV

"Wow another strange day firstly the announcement of the project then I got paired with Jalal

Hey Kanha what r u doing with me

Jalal seems a nice guy ya now we become friends I guess that's good but what to do with that current."

With these thoughts, the confused girl fall into sleep.

At the same time in jalals apartment

Jalal's pov

"Today was my day, firstly I got paired with Jodha then she also accepted my friendship and with this first step got completed

Everything was going smoothly but that Trisha she again interrupted us.

But one thing is remarkable about Jodha that she is the first one who dares to argue with me, no one had ever dared to argue with me but she is just different at least not like those bimbos who always concentrate on their make up instead of doing their work.

Arghh! again I am praising her, I need to stop this."

With this, the confused man fall asleep.

Next morning after attending lectures both girls moved towards canteen but stopped in between

Jodha"what happened Trisha, why did u stop", asked who stopped seeing her friend stop.

Trisha"Nothing it's just that I and my bf will make our project separately from u guys, so I was thinking about working on it at our apartment".

Jodha"No need Trisha, you are saying this because of jalals yesterday behaviour, right? ", asked in guilty voice," I will talk with Jalal".

Trisha"no Jo it's not like that in fact whatever he said makes sense, I mean we have to accept it that we are in the opposite group and we should give our hundred per cent", said to her sad friend.

Jodha"Ok if you said so".

To lighten up the mood of her friend

Trisha"besides I need some romantic quality time with my bf", said while giving her a wink"ok now enough of talking I am calling my partner and you should also move towards ur partner".

Jodha"Trisha!", exclaimed with a glare.

Trisha"ok ur project partner madam", said while raising her hands in defence.

At the canteen, Jodha moved towards the already waiting boy

Jalal"Hey Jodha", waving towards her.

Jodha"Hey Jalal", waved back.

Jalal"Where is ur bodyguard who always protects u from me", teased but stopped immediately after receiving a deadly glare from Jodha.

Jodha"Trisha has decided that they will work at home on their project".

Jalal"Oh so that's why Roby too left", said while suppressing his pleasant smile.

Jodha"Ya, so have you prepared something for the project", enquired while settling on her seat.

Jalal"yup and you."

Jodha"me too", said while showing her research.

With this, both started their work on the project.

After working for three hours continuously, Jodha"I am tired now can we continue tomorrow, please", said tiredly.

Jalal"ya sure, I also forget you must be tired since we are working for so long".

Jodha"thank you, now let me call Trisha so she could pick me".

Jalal" what's needed to call her I can drop you since I have to go there to pick Roby as well".

Jodha agreed after thinking for a while" ok besides Trisha won't allow me to come alone".

Jalal"don't worry, you can trust me I am a good driver sweety, so ready for our romantic drive", said in his flirty tone.

Jodha"if you are done with your flirting mister, shall we move", said while shaking her head.

Jalal" of course baby", replied with a wink.

Jalal opened the passenger door and Jodha climbed into his car who after closing her door settled himself in the driver's seat and just drove off down the road silently.

To break the silence he turned on the radio only to be greeted with a romantic song

Jalal "what type of music u like Jo", asked to initiate a conversation to know more about her.

Jodha"I like light-hearted music and you", asked while enjoying the musicc.

Jalal" I like rocking and romantic music; said while winking towards her making her smile.

The minute they entered into the driveway of Trishas apartment, they found their bestz already waiting for them outside the house.

"Finally, you guys came and what I am seeing Jalal has allowed someone to sit on his passenger seat", teased Roby the moment he saw Jalal and Jodha stepped out of the car.

Trisha"What do u mean by that baby", asked with curiosity.

Roby"Jalal never allows anyone to sit beside him while he is driving that's why I have to drive usually if we are travelling in the same car", shared the secret while completely ignoring the warning glares from his friend, "But congratulations jodha you are the first who could sit on front seat besides Jalal".

After hearing this a shy smile appeared on jodhas face while an embarrassing look on Jalal's face but the thing didn't settle well with Jodha, so to save the embarrassed boy from further embarrassment

Jodha"Guys I am very tired" while yawning, "Trisha can we move now", moved towards their apartment while tugging on her hand but not before receiving a thanks look from Jalal and in return she just gave him an understanding look.

The next four days brought many changes, Jodha became fully comfortable in jalals company and Jalal too almost forget about the bet. Both started attracting towards each other not knowing what the unknown feeling was.

The night before Best projects announcement, at the Trisha's apartment

Jodhas POV

"Finally, the project got completed and let's see which project will be the best project

I must say, Jalal is indeed a brilliant boy I mean his views and ideas are superb plus he is very supportive and ya, of course, a big flirt.

I don't know why but his flirting doesn't irritate me, it always brings a smile on my face but one thing is still there that unknown current that I feel whenever he touches me, still, I kinda like his company.

I just can't understand what's happening to me.

Hey Kanha please help me

I think I am going crazy, I should stop thinking about him and concentrate on studies as my exams are also coming."

With these thoughts, Jodha fell asleep.

At the same time at jalals apartment

Jalal's pov

"Why the project got completed that early everything was going good

Trisha was right Jodha is quite different from others.

Her smile, her innocence and she has brains too not like those girls who are more interested in impressing and attracting me rather than concentrating on their work and ya what's that sensation which I feel whenever I touch her

Argh, not again why I am attracting towards her.

Now the project finished so from now on I will only concentrate on my bet."

With these thoughts, he too fell asleep.

The very next day after completing the lectures Trisha and Jodha along with juniors moved towards auditorium for the announcement of the best project.

At the same time, Jalal along with Roby too headed towards the same direction but stopped in their tracks on seeing their girls who were coming from the opposite direction.

Roby"Hey Trisha baby, hey Jodha".

Jodha" hi Roby".

Trisha"hi baby"; chirped while hugging her boyfriend.

Jodha"hey Jalal", greeted with a nervous filled face.

Jalal" hi Jodha, are you ok", asked worriedly.

Jodha"Actually, not so fine feeling nervous regarding the result of our project as it will affect our final grades too".

But before Jalal could say something to calm down the uneasy girl

Trisha" its ok baby don't be tense I know my Jo is best and u have really worked hard for it. So chill ".

Roby" besides Jalal was ur partner so ur project will surely the best project as his ideas are incredible and I am sure in your project maximum contribution must be of Jalal", said with an excited look.

Trisha" whatever, I don't think so. Jo is quite smart herself", defended the offended friend.

Jodha"Trisha!. Actually, Roby is right, no doubt Jalal is very intelligent and ya most of the ideas were his only", said with an appreciative look for Jalal.

Jalal"but Jodha is no less, she helped me a lot and frankly we worked equally so need to create a fuss on this "declared with a proud look towards Jodha.

Roby"but one thing which is intolerable with Jalal is that he never gets satisfied with anyone's work and no one dares to argue with him or should I say he never allows anyone to argue with himself", said while shaking his head.

Hearing the not so pleasing taunts the annoyed boy was about to give his friend a piece of mind.

Jodha" now, you are wrong here, Roby as Jalal always satisfied with my work and we argue a lot", said to defend her project partner.

Trisha"I am not surprised at all as no one win over Jodha in the argument".

Jalal" ya that's right she always wins over me in every argument so don't underestimate her Roby", said while defending his partner as well.

Jodha"ok enough of talking let's move to our class we r getting late, professors must be waiting", said while hiding her flushed face after Jalals supportive words.

Firstly Roby entered along with Trisha then Jalal along with Jodha making everyone surprised as college most popular boy had entered along with the girl who was quite famous for rejecting boys. Everyone knew that they both were working together for the project but what shocked them was the way they both are talking and looking towards each other as Jalal has never seen that much relaxed and happy with any girl and same was the case with the quiet Jodha.

Without paying any importance to the stares and murmurs both pair headed towards their respective seats Jodha sat along with Jalal while Trisha with Roby.

After giving a brief of every project professors finally announced the best project

Mrs Ahuja" So the best project is of my favourite students Jalal and Jodha", declared with a proud look.

Hearing the results Jodha's tensed face turned into a glowing one and in her excitement, she hugged Jalal tightly, the unexpected action firstly shocked then made the winner boy delighted.

Only the applauding sound made the pleased girl realized about her current position and situation who immediately withdrew herself from the ecstatic boy.

Jalal"shall we Jodha as mam can't come to congratulate us na so we have to go there ", said with a wink to remove the awkwardness between them.

Both headed towards their professors to receive their applause from their mentors.

Trisha"congrats Jo as I said ur project will be the best; said while hugging her best friend who just descended the last step of the stage.

Jodha"thank you Trisha and sorry I mean_".

Trisha"Don't you dare say anything your win is my win and your loss is my loss", said while hitting her silly friendly lightly, on which Jodha just nodded with an apology look.

Roby congratulated his best buddy with a bro hug.

Jalal"thanks bro", replied while breaking the hug.

After receiving endless applause Jalal suggested" now let's go and celebrate", as the four started moving towards the exit but stopped in between hearing a voice.
