One has pure arrange marriage and other one has pure and totally opposite... love marriage...that too saying literally after spending blissfull of 20 years of marriage!

Gosh...what a platform is this...where we can read real life of experience and teaches us lot !

Agree with you, Lavanya and Lashy that relationship is work in progress, we have to work at it every day. My hubby and I are totally opposite in nature, likes/dislikes, choices, subjects on history/political, food...it has been a great learning experience for me since I got married, it has been 26 years and don't take anything for granted!! We don't agree on lot of things, we argue, discuss but at the I end of the day the relationship becomes stronger, we become stronger mentally.

Not a bit, but a lot of compromise, understanding and adjustment required. Arranged marriages are bit more tougher, I think!

This is not a pleasure trip obviously, mixed feelings...not sure how this going to turn out, it's my MIL's decision at the end of the day, she says she can't see him suffer like this and I agree, it is painful to watch him with all the tubes on him, my memory of him total opposite of what I see now.

It's ok, we all are prepared for the worst.
