Lana Selvi and Sandy... here... I have something for you both... my very first attempt at writing in the JA forum... since the discussion was about 'looks' and 'Jalal' - if you have the time, that is!❤️

As for RT's looks Lana... he's far too handsome, to only look good as Jalal... CGM is a messed-up serial in many departments and the pictures from the award ceremony were far too ordinary even for a seasoned RT fan's liking... so don't go by it!

(But I agree with Sandy - earlier episodes he was lovely there too! ETA - Hai hai Sandy... )

Nevertheless, I've been following him for 10 years... loved him as Prithivi, Veer, Jalal, Nevla and Chandra... though my favourite 'character' till date remains Jalal... ❤️

But, wouldn't you say he looks delicious in this non-Jalal avtaar too?

Welcome to my group Selvi! 🤗 Same thing I felt and went through here initially. Lashy told me to save the picture in imgur.com first and then post it here in the signature copying the BBCode link from there and paste it in the signature tab here! Or just post it in your message and you will see the picture then. Hope this helps. Took me quite a while.

Lashy as I wrote to Sandhya, I went weak in my knees seeing him as Jalal! Here and CGM he is okay! In and as Jalal he had an 'oomph' factor which is missing here. No I was never a fan of his and never followed him anywhere else. I am very choosy in picking shows and actors!

So far I liked 'Kutumb', 'Kis Des mein hai mera Dil', "iss pyar ko kya naam doon', initial months of 'Madhubala', again some months of 'qubool hai', and Jodha Akbar! All the shows more or less I left after 4 - 6 months because all of them go downhill! They lose the story and the characters as well.

Shyamala aunty used to compare him to the handsome Greek statues. And aptly so. 😳

This was more recent.

But now his rugged looks and cut hair have lessened the dash of his looks.😕

Bahoot dole-shole, body-shody banaya hai! And he looks grown up compared to Jalal! To me more than the actor a character draws me! Actor definitely plays a major part in portraying a character but the essence of the character is very important to me! If that gets lost I lose interest no matter how good the actor is! I need chemistry, substance, looks, appeal in a character to keep me hooked! 😉😃

he looked quite good in his gurukul days there...😳
