As for RT's looks Lana... he's far too handsome, to only look good as Jalal... CGM is a messed-up serial in many departments and the pictures from the award ceremony were far too ordinary even for a seasoned RT fan's liking... so don't go by it!

(But I agree with Sandy - earlier episodes he was lovely there too! ETA - Hai hai Sandy... )

Nevertheless, I've been following him for 10 years... loved him as Prithivi, Veer, Jalal, Nevla and Chandra... though my favourite 'character' till date remains Jalal... ❤️

But, wouldn't you say he looks delicious in this non-Jalal avtaar too?

Undoubtedly, he is handsome in all versions. But as Lana said, there is something about his Jalal that is simply not there in others...Greek Statue looks or not. Any other actor with reasonably good looks can play Chandra but Jalal is almost synonymous with Rajat. There was that dash, aura, suaveness, depth and charisma in his Jalal that is unmatched. And it was present right from Episode 1, even before Jalal as a character began to take shape. 😳

Which is why Jalal as a character was most appealing to me too...

In JA, whatever he did ( sit, stand, walk, talk, attitude.etc) everything was like SHAHENSHA...He looked taller inspite of his height...

In CGM, his heroine and many other are shorter than him...still he looks short...it looks like he walks with his shoulders slumped... like always in doubt...

Selvi, wow, you hit the target! BINGO! 👏👏 When I saw 2 episodes I couldn't put my fingers on what was missing! I felt like he is running in circles, going and walking to his chamber and shower room! I was like Emperor hai khali soch raha hai Nandini ke baare mein aur shower le raha hai! 😕 And though good physique but yes he was looking too 'short'! Not only he was confused but as an audience I was confused too! Definitely the story, director, screenplay, camera all plays an important role but since we first look at the visual and he being there calls for our attention first and fell short of my expectations!
