Lashy finally got the time to pen down my sentiments about your fabulous update! There is no point in reiterating how much I love your story, characters, setting, your style to portray the feelings and emotions which take me to a world of fantasy! I escape to their world and just picture them in that background and then run away with so many scenarios of my own! This is all your doing and you deserve a big credit for this! You are simply fabulous! ð And yes, it's not only you who though physically present now but lives in the 16th century but we as readers of HBAS do too! ðYou can make that out simply from all the activities in the thread and forum of a show that have closed down for 2 years (or so I think because I left watching the show long before it actually went off the air).
This update was transitional which simply is a connecting bridge between now and the upcoming future. It simply sets the mood and setting of the story that gives us an inkling of what will follow henceforth. There are direct and indirect views and opinions which tell us exactly how the characters feel and how they are actually behaving condoning a mask of happiness. This was required to narrate the future. I adored Gauri and Chachajaan's presence here which both conveyed the psyche of the protagonists and also opened a window for us to take a peek of the future. They were the protagonist's sounding board! Specially, the last paragraph reflecting the thought of Chachajaan which we can infer but Heera has to experience for herself and that will be the story henceforth! Her journey of realisation of AMK's love for her will be the crux of the story, where he posing as a STRANGER and hiding behind that facade will be her support, strength, protector, help, well-wisher, husband and finally her lover! That will be a long journey for her to experience and you have set up a perfect backdrop for that. In their story I feel AMK has an uphill battle here to prove himself to her, to open her eyes and make her see for what he is overcoming all her anger, hurt and sense of betrayal. Bahoot papad belne padenge! ðð
I have always wondered and maintained that these two are so mature and intelligent that they leave the experienced lot behind! I simply bow down to Heera for her spin of words that gave a new meaning to her people making it less confrontational and forceful! Not only the people understood her but AMK too realised her potential and maturity all over again. He had to support her words thus confirming in public about his commitment and stand. It was a verbal Farmaan' from his end, if I may say so. I wonder if she practised her speech in private knowing the reaction of the mass and how to mollify them to the best of her capability. In this kind of situations, there will be reactions both positive and negative and tongues will wag but she tried to minimise the negative effect and she succeeded and that is the important factor here. Kudos to her, imagine a 16 year old with such maturity and intelligence! ð²ð
I also have to applaud AMK here. He wholeheartedly appreciated her and admitted to himself that even he couldn't have done a better job than she did. That is saying a lot for someone who has always been a leader - led his people, trained others while others follow his words and directions. It also depicts his practical side who being a man of limited words, a man of action, an introvert living a dubious secretive life can feel the tug of his heart so well and can use this pragmatic side to benefit his emotional demeanour. We all know how he manipulated Heera into agreeing to this marriage when every other attempt failed! And yet there he is standing next to her masking his emotions without a flinch on his face, not a tweak to show any emotion, standing straight and tall with a relentless look that forbade any kind of retaliation from the mass. His one word Yes' was enough to show his commitment towards Parnagarh! I liked the fact that he didn't give any further clarification, reasons or justification to anything that Heera said and neither did he help her in any way for the speech. He just held his stance and position without budging showing he is not moved easily be it in happiness or in sadness! Nothing affects him though he knows who affects him and how much but he will never show it to anyone! I so love this and believe me if he had done otherwise it would have felt odd to me. I can never imagine AMK doing shairis' for Heera or writing verses for her. To me his actions speak, his eyes speak, his gestures speak, the fleeting smirk speaks, 2 -3 words speaks volumes. He was totally and completely in his character! In fact, when Gauri saw him sitting tall on his horse I guffawed thinking of him sitting on his high horse'! ð
Other points that always floors me are imagery used in writing. Being a student of Literature and teaching so every day I simply adored the imagery of the Rose plant. Did you do it consciously? The rose plant in spite of being prodded and poked survived and bloomed into a new flower with vigour and so will Heera after all the betrayal and hurt she will be her lively original self again one day after she receives all his love, nurture and care! The rose plant survived and so will she with gusto! Bravo Lashy, splendid! And moreover, it was right outside her room which brought the connection home more aptly! ð
Other than going bonkers over the image of AMK you put up for me, I also loved the fact that Heera's vision was at its best that day! It was only for her we came to know about his silky locks that were given a free reign of being their own master and the back too adorned his collar! I am happy she looked up and got the visual for us! That is why we came to know he was looking so regal, respectful and resplendent!
He will be an excellent husband we all know and you already gave certain scenarios to prove so. His respecting her in public and appreciating her maturity and intelligence is one proof. Second instance was, when for his own reasons he refused the room of her father and sister but he knew she will have misty eyes and purposely didn't look back at her. And the third instance was when he left from the front of her room knowing she will be embarrassed by the comment of the ladies! He could have simply side glanced at her but he didn't which again I was happy about because he was in his character! âïž
I also admired his nonchalant attitude in looking at the necklace. Again I was happy he neither admired it nor rejected it but at the same time, he took the time to look at it because it will be his first gift for her. And then came the climax for me when he simply asked in 3 words, how is she?' Nothing more, nothing less and he knew exactly what she was going through and also knew no matter what he did or said at that point of time will not matter to her! The burden of pain won't be any less! She has lost her faith and trust on him and he has to toil hard to gain her trust, confidence and faith back! He knew all her dreams about her wedding has been marred and at this point, nothing he did or said will make her happy! I wish he knew that his small action of rejecting her father's and sister's room did make her happy. ð
I also liked the fact that Heera knew exactly why he chose the last corridor room for himself! Small steps are being taken from both ends to understand each other! Long bridge has to be covered ahead but all journey starts with the first step. So it is good! Though pensive in mood and setting but nevertheless the update had a positive aura all throughout. I will be waiting to see how the transition from her room to his or vice-versa will take place and I am hoping it will take its time! In fact, what excuse will they have for the wedding night! ð³ Hmmm, will wait as usual!
Awesome as always! 10 more days to endure groggily, grumblingly and growlingly till I get my next dose! ð Thank you Lashy!
