Hi Abhay,

I am sorry for not responding to this post of yours. I wanted to read it thoroughly before commenting. Will get back to you with my comments in a day or two. The post sure deserves a lot of time.

By the way, I am a subscriber of the blog since it's very beginning. Unfortunately for me, I joined in the discussions very late.

It was important to give a thorough explanation of the people involved in this episode, because most of us are not aware of them. Man Singh and Aziz Koka are comparatively known, but Saiyad Khan and Raja Ram were new characters. I feel the introduction made the post clear.

Indeed, those 2 hours proved very crucial on that fateful day. It was politics, treachery and what not, which took place in those 120 minutes!

One can only imagine, how the future of our country would have been if it was Khusrau who succeeded Akbar. <- After the 3rd part only, this sentence would be more clear.

Thank you very much for responding.

You are welcome!

I realise that such blogs are painstakingly crafted from solid evidence and research aplenty, but if your time and energy permits, I would request you to throw some light on the later life and tragic demise of this unfortunate Prince Khusrau. A lot is said and penned by various historians and novelists, which are apparently vague, and often extremely contradictory.

I am sorry for the error.
One of my friends (same name)writes E instead of A.
Hence the confusion. I'll take care in future. :)
I have made the correction now.

Thank you. May i know your name ?
It takes effort and time, but it is something i like to do. There are people who keep sharing gems from their reading and it enriches me too.

I have few posts related to Khusrau, right now.
You can read them here :

Akbar and His Chosen Heir: A Battle of Succession - Salim, Murad, Daniyal & Khusrau

I have to post the part - 2 of the following link. This link covers events till his revolt after Jahangir became the king.
Khusrau | The unfortunate Mughal Prince - Struggle for Power - 1
