In our Russian history was a very beautiful love story of Alexander Griboyedov (Russian diplomat, poet, playwright, pianist and composer, a nobleman State Councilor 1795 -1829) and Georgian aristocrat, princess Nino Chavchavadze (1812-1857). Nino was 15 years old, Griboyedov 33 years. They were married in August of 1828.
30 Jan 1829 diplomat Griboyedov was murdered in Persia, a mob of fanatics, along with Russian Embassy .
Nino was pregnant and lost her baby due to premature delivery. She never got married. She was only 17 years old when she became a widow. She lived alone for 26 years.
On the grave of her husband she wrote: "Mind and deeds your immortal in memory of Russian, but why has survived you my love? "
