Hello Shyamala, I am sorry It took me so long to respond to your post and your question posted to me in your previous thread.First of all, I finally figured out who Mohini and Mohan were😆. had totally forgottentthe nickname given to these most favored " Jeev Jantus"Episode 79: Unexpected depthsOkay okay I have to admit I was one of those forum wasis who absolutely loved the L'affaire Mohini- Truth is Shyamala, I am a hopeless romantic and a sucker for scenes like this especially when Jalal was so brilliant in it. I do not tend to analyse every scene in such detail as you do. If it is as visually pleasing as this scene was then its a winner for me.
" Bizarre obsession" " Conjugal Rights" and "A Freudian explanation": I am going to skip these sections as I believe we have discussed this at length in your " akhada"😉
Episode 80: The turning of the tide
The mannat: The Mazhar scene was magnificent and very very peaceful. I have always loved their scenes at the Dargah. Besides I am very partial to Jalal's look in this style of Pagdi. Jalal looks so very handsome here😳
The Removal of his ammunition: Jodha! Jodha! , Jodha! Will your follies never cease😡 😡
Episode 82: The darkness descends: This section of yours took me by surprise. I was so furious with Jodha when watching this last year, that I did not look at her desperate attempts to rescue Jalal with much sympathy. A very sensitively and beautifully written take on Jodha ...and I must admit a refreshing change 😉.
I did not care much for the slapping spree that Ruks subjected her to but then am not surprised either. I do however laud Jodha's honesty whether it is because of being an " innocent abroad" or any other reason.
Your section on "Tiger, tiger, burning bright" , "Other lunch options for Mohan" and "Sound advice for Jalal" were absolutely hilarious 🤣.
" Epic Love Story" : Now to the specific question you asked me about your comments to Saraswathi Aunty/Akka...well I am as disappointed as you are about how this " epic love" eventually turned out. In fact I was so deeply affected that unlike you I abandoned the show much earlier. I agree with much of what you have said Shyamala and I truly felt your angst when you wrote to Saraswathi Aunty/Akka. You truly have a gift for words as well as a very sensitive outlook👏
HOWEVER with all due respect, I think there were 2 Major issues/ events which completely diluted this love story that you have completely missed. They promise to be very contentious and are perhaps best left alone so that your post does not descend into another " akhada".😊 I will however say that while reading the comments from your friends here about Jodhas numerous crimes ( I fully agree her crimes were indeed many) ...the final death Knell to this " epic love story" came from Jalal and not Jodha.
I better stop now Shyamala or should I say " Jump of the treadmill" as you so cleverly put it 😃
