Abhay,
the thing is nobody is totally wrong here.. Akbar , Jo, Salim and Murad...all r right at their places...
this whole thing we always see like we want to see Salim as an ideal son coz we love AkDha and as per our Indian culture we have our mindset abt how a son should be...
but then at the same time r we sure that both Akbar and Jo r perfect as parents where salim is concerned as their son? i feel they r perfect as Shehenshah and Mallika, but at the same time somewhere they lack as parents... if we see all the relationships till date, Akbar's all other kids stayed near him , while only salim was always kept away, in the name of making him future good king...was such punishment always necessary?
and then isn't it what they r getting back? afterall what he got from his parents as a kid? he is always blamed for something or else... is he totally wrong?
most surprising thing is, Akbar himself have suffered the pain of a kid who had to stay away from his parents, and still he gave salim same pain... how much that is justified?
and plz, don't think, i m taking salim's side... that I will never do...but still...
and in this I feel bad for Jo... a Mallika wins, a wife understands, but a mother fails, and that too when she always wants to be there with her son... and that pain is something, that will never heal...
Well Said Diksha.. I am with you here.
I do not agree with Salim behaving so harshly. If he respect Anar, I can understand but the same should go to Murad too. He should not have slapped. He could have spoken in the same tone as he spoke to Anar.. The problem with Salim is he sympathizes with himself.
@bold: well said...I agree with you..
