if the whole incidents or incidents would have been shown in such a way by keeping akabr still royal and majestic then it would have not looked so bad but instead they showed him next to nothing! only saving grace was rajat's acting the rest was not worth watching and if they want to show anything to do with muz why akabr is shown falling at her feet instead can't they show akbar giving her the responsibilities and she doing them with perfection and authority and then akabr not shown doing majnugiri but something substantial either preparing for war or dealing with administrative issues..why show them both like servants serving the awaam and when did such things ever happened in the barbaric era

That is the difference between the thought process of Jalal and Ruqayya. Jalal faces every thing. But still, i did not like the whipping. The issue is not whipping also, but the issue is the "extreme" portrayal. He was shown lying on Earth, completely red, and almost lifeless ; to raise the emotional quotient, i guess.

On lighter note, it reminded me of Sholay, when Dharam Paaji was shackled by Gabbar / tied both hands. :-P

and also abhay i would like to address one more issue here..the guilt trip of akbar shown is very unrealistic in the first place..i think during those times the definition or the boundaries of guilt were different...there was no such thing as human rights and there was no equality as cast creed and religion were at its zenith..its only in today's time and age we have risen above all such divisions to some extent! a king was a king and all had to obey him and whoever thought of the awaam like akbar did was termed great not on the basis of blood shed but on the basis of humanity and that is what queen elizabeth was most impressed about and also called him the invincible!..and in the show even if they had shown an ounce of such incidents it would have looked real but the whole focus was to make akabr do follies..make jodha correct them..make akbar fall on her feet and cry buckets..and then jodha gets all glorified ..the issue here is not why jodha is glorified at all the issue is why the presentation and treatment is so cliched!..ekta's every soap has the same story running! but she forgot that this show that she is making is of a great emperor and will she be able to justify the relation and its complexities without harming the image of the real people involved?

True. The boundaries of guilt were different. Guilt is often perceived as different by different people...But...Lets leave this issue, the issue runs quite deep.

Last week, i had given a reasoning for the "feet" incident, as that was a light banter, and Akbar(or Surjan) did that KNOWINGLY just for sake of putting Jodha(or Radha) in a fix. It was a light scene and i interpreted lightly only, without thinking much.

But what happened yesterday was in a bad taste BECAUSE here Jalal was shown HOPELESS & HELPLESS and the extreme whipping added to that.

Believe me, by showing this, i don't think, Jodha is not getting glorified. She is being shown as a typical Balaji lead, i was discussing with someone. REAL HK was not about this, as you mentioned. The scans which i had posted earlier say - " Her advice had great weight with the Emperor and were regarded by him, Akbar consulted her on important matters and her responses were above partisanship, etc etc. " The issue of falling at feet as shown on Friday, degrade the REAL HK as well ; as they degrade this Emperor...

Coming to the present track, if we think a bit logically as per the standards of those times. In your previous comment you have written about Akbar already that they could have shown him doing so and so things, which are fine. About HK, they could have shown her handling the cases in the court only, not in some Panchayat. I have recently posted a farman of MUZ which is PROOF that she was involved in such political matters and in resolving of the routine financial civil disputes of Imperial officials.

This above ^^^ presentation would have done justice to BOTH the REAL characters..Akbar as mentioned by you, and HK as mentioned by me, but for that i think we need some really innovative writers who are FRESH , not the ones who are used to writing for the normal daily soaps.

i agree abhay! better creative writers are needed and to be honest the issue that we jalal lovers have is that why akbar is degraded to show jodha mahaan and here i am talking of string of tracks where all this has happened and why all the credits are falling in jodha's kitty..didn't akabr had a brain of his own..and we both agree that we as viewers would have been thrilled to watch akbar giving muz duties and then her shown doing all such duties to perfection be it court cases or be anything else as that would have shown her intelligent side and at the same time showing akbar's magnificent achievements that are mentioned in various books and documentaries!..then in true sense this show would have been of jodha and akabr!..and also i would have been more happy if akbar's first wife was not insulted to this extent..doesn't matter if she was grey as we all cannot be perfect, but showing her like this is an insult to the real akabr and ruk! i think it is third grade presentation..she might have been manipulative but not cheap!...anyway the show lacks in quality presentation big time and the characters look unreal..except for first 6 months i cannot recognize them in any way nor i can relate them to the real people...for me they are ekta's katputlis only the name is taken from history!

and also abhay wherever necessary they could have shown how jodha had been considerate on certain issues and how akbar reacted to them as he himself was a considerate man and always honored opinions coming from honest and loyal people be it his gems or his royal wives..and one example of such an incident i can give you is that of sati..he came to know from harem only and then showed his bravery and saved a rajput princess from being satti..! since the news came from harem they could have shown jodha giving that news to akbar and then akbar being a brave man riding on a horse at a jet speed and saving that female from performing satti pratha on time and how the emotions flowed later would have been shown!..the jaziya thing was too dramatized and whole credit was given to jodha which kinda looked bizzare instead they should have shown how he felt and experienced and listened to everyone's opinion and not just jodha's and removed jaziya slowly with time and not abruptly the way it was shown foolishly! abhay if the subject was dealt with maturity and sensitivity and following the historical facts by keeping the core of the content intact this show would have been not only convincing but left a mark that would have last long but now it will leave a bad taste and people will forget in no time!

If there is a barrel for writers Ekta certainly is scrapping the gunk off the bottom 🤢

Poor RT PS - they are in catch 22 situation - inspite of getting JA to top 2 - it is said this is THEIR TEST! Then they are made to enact the 🤬 writers write!

Till they punish Ruk - REALLY - not some garbage fake petty punishment they might dream of - nobody will trust these CVs. They slapped viewers in Ruk glorification tracks every crime unpunished - viewers are giving them well deserved slaps.
