No problem with font - and yeah, we all enjoy a good discussion where we can exchange our views and not try to prove a point. DEAR RADHIKA
Hi! đ
1. RIVETING ENTERTAINMENT? REALLY?
WHY IS IT OK FOR CVS TO SHOW RUKS AND MAHAM ANGA WITH SUPERIOR BRAIN LEVELS AND NOT OKAY FOR THEM TO SHOW JALAL AS GREAT? WHY DO CVS ONLY GLORIFY THE VAMP AND NOT THE PROTAGONIST? WHEN HAVE WE AS THE AUDIENCE TOLD THEM THAT FOR US SEEING JALAL OR AKBAR AS GREAT IS BORING?
Has anyone on this thread or any other thread of mine or Abhay's said that we don't want to see Jalal as great or that we are ok with watching Ruq / Maham with superior intelligence? May be you missed but recently I made a thread asking when the time would come for Ruq's punishment. We all have trouble understanding why the CVs are fixated with negativity, which drove away fans and plunged TRPs. We all want to see real history.
Having said this, I will say let's give a chance to the CVs to make up for past errors in this track. Why should we keep discussing what went wrong in the past instead of trying to enjoy the present track? The past has been discussed ad nauseum and speculating about the future is futile as the CVs are unpredictable. Best is to enjoy the present track and take EACH episode as it comes. 2. THERE IS NO CLASH IN THE POINTS THAT I HAVE MADE REGARDING JODHA DOING OR NOT DOING WORK. MY POINT IS THAT JODHA HAD THESE TWO MONTHS OF TIME TO CORRECT WHATEVER WAS WRONG, BUT THE CVS DID NOT SHOW HER DOING ANYTHING OF THE SORT. BUT NOW EVER SINCE JALAL IS UP AND HAS SEEN THE STATE OF THE AWAAM SHE IS SHOWN BY CVS AS ALL WORRIED AND DYING TO GET INTO ACTION.
MY ISSUE IS WITH THE CVS PORTRAYAL OF JODHA AND NOT WITH THE CHARACTER JODHA
Let me tell you that when my mom was in coma, we could not think of anything else but just kept praying to God and spending time with her as much as possible in the hope that she would come back to our world soon.
When a husband is in coma, a wife cannot think of anything else but when he would become conscious again. At that point, even a queen is ONLy a WIFE.
Now that Akbar is fine again and itching to do something for his awaam, Jodha is thinking how she can support him in this endeavor and what she can do as Empress and MUZ.
I think the CVs are showing the character just fine.
3. YESTERDAY EPISODE MADE ME THINK THAT A RIFT BETWEEN JALAL AND JODHA IS IN THE OFFING. I COULD BE WRONG, BUT THE KANHA EXCHANGE AND JODHA'S RESOLVE AFTER THAT MADE ME THINK IN THA DIRECTION
WHAT I WANT TO POINT OUT HERE IS THAT JODHA AND JALAL WERE IN TANDEM. NO HISTORICAL DOCUMENT POINTS OUT RIFTS BETWEEN THEM. IF CVS TRY AND CREATE ONE ( OF COURSE IT WILL BE ONE OF MANY) THEN AGAIN THEY ARE DIGGING A GRAVE
No, unless the CVs are deliberately planning to show a rift, there can be no rift based on the exchange between Jalal and Jodha yesterday.
Jalal is disillusioned with God. Jodha is also worried why Kanha is not doing anything but she still has faith that Kanha will not let her down. When she sees Akbar is disillusioned with God and is thinking negatively, she resolves that she has to do something to help the awaam as MUZ so that he will be happy. She knows that once his problems are solved and his awaam is happy, Jalal will again start thinking positively and return to the spiritual path that he has strayed from temporarily.
There is no rift. She was till now a wife praying for her husband's physical recovery. Now she is the MUZ who will help his mental and emotional recovery by doing whatever she can. This is the role of a wife and Jodha is being the ideal wife completely.
4. THE EXPOSURE OF MAAN SINGH TO SHREEF AND MIRZA WAS ALSO QUITE BADLY HANDLED BY CVS. UFFF THERE WERE A 100 GOOD WAYS OF FILMING THIS PORTION :(
Agree many scenes can be handled better. I am only happy that at least the fact that Man Singh had exposed Mirza Hakim to Akbar is being shown. How this is shown is something that can be improved.5. YES I AGREE THAT MY COMMENTS ON DIN E ILAHI WOULD HAVE BEEN A BIT HASTY. MAY BE THE SEEDS OF DIN E ILAHI WERE SOWN NOW BUT THE DOCTRINE IS A SUPERB, (EVEN FOR TODAY'S TIMES OR MAY BE SPECIALLY FOR TODAY'S TIMES) SO CVS SHOULD SHOW IT WITH A SPECIAL HANDLING
Hope so too - this entire track deserves to be handled well and everything shown in great detail - am really looking fwd to seeing how Din-i-ilahi is shown.
YOUR LAST POINT IS SOMETHING THAT I AM IN COMPLTETE AGREEMENT WITH. AKBAR WAS REALLY GREAT. MY ONLY ISSUE IS THAT CVS ARE NOT GIVING HIM THE GREATNESS THAT IS DUE TO HIS CHARACTER
Akbar's characterization leaves much to be desired and so does MUZ's. I do not like brooding on the past. Am just waiting and watching how these two are portrayed in this track.
