Akbar having twins then Salim and then a daughter with same wife/MUZ besides different children from wives/concubines , and different buildings in his forts for his Hindu Begum whether temples palaces etc does not need any written proof that there is MUZ/Heera kunwari/Jodha as his fav wife and also having power to issue Farmans. I also read in few books about Mughal period Akbar where foreign travellers mention a Fav wife of Akbar who sat in court with him but whose dress does not look Moslem to them.

Story telling and tracks should be interesting and leads should be given proper treatment not dumbed down

Authentication to baas Akdha fans to dena padta hai baat baat pad , Ruklal love story n importance of Ruquaya is so well-known that it's beyond any proof. 😉 Wo baat alag hai ki most of us are unaware of this Legendary love story. 😭 Because most of us are simply unaware of our true history you see , only a handful knows what had truly happened n so what if they can't provide any proof. 😃

Ela, you back 🤗 me too stoped JA, but couldn't understand why still people couldn't agree with the proofs that MUZ is closer to Jalaal, while Ruqu not even mentioned in Akbarnama & also in Siyasaat she plots with Salim to kill Jalaal ? 😲 I am shocked to read Jalaal is not a romantic man like salim but respected all 3 women equally, but I still can't understand why can't AKBAR love ONE women who can understand his thoughts & support him which happen to be MUZ..

on a lighter vein Having 300 wives ( though they say there were 5000 women in harem as per the show or ZRA )Akbar should be having atleast half as many children😉but his having so few children both dead or alive😲😕 even if people like MA who used to see that they abort the unborn . Does not it show some other picture.( Favorite wife/wives) with whom he used to spend more time

Here we are only interested in good story telling tracks of JA(as the show is JA) without dumbing the leads.

Its given in many books that in Akbar absence that Akbar Mughal wives issued farmans on his behalf. By farman's I do not mean that Ruqaiah or Salima had indv farmans in their names but they used Akbar seal to issue framan's when he was absent in court. Like during Deccan war there are farman's issued on Akbar name by his Mughal begums. There frarmans are available in british museum, NY museums and library's. I think ASI may have them too some copies.

I have not talked any nonsense on Ruqaiah. If we ignore everything else too the books etc, Why would Akbar give his fav grandson to Ruqaiah as a 6 day old baby if he does not have confidence in her upbringing to make her happy? Which husband will give future emperor and fav grand child to an wife for upbringing if he does not love, respect and have confidence in her? Further Jehangir does not oppose it and even Shah jahan speak highly of her. If they had issues they would have hinted about it. Sahh Jahna criticised his father regime so why not criticize his giving away to Ruqaiah?

Secondly why Akbar regretted marrying many(Quote Emperor of Peackock throne/Akbarnama etc) had he been wiser before. Whether Akbar loved Ruqaiah or not or Jodha or not he definetly did not hate Ruqaiah the way this serial wants me to believe. Jehangir also stated that his father had special affection for Ruqaiah. So I cannot ignore these facts and blindly believe that Akbar was majnu over Jodha and Jodha only.

Anyways this is no history thread so I do not want to discuss anything on history here lest the thread is closed.

To all his own you believe Akbar loved Jodha you can, I believe he was not a lover boy at all. Yes but he had three wives who he gave importance and respected those were Ruq, Salimaa and Muz. If there was some level of love it was after wedding not before like in serial. That anyway all couples love after marriage all over world cannot be said as unique love. That is my view on this couple. No of children never specify love and the fact that how many kids Muz-Akbar had can never be proven correctly.

To ameris being close to him, he used them to have a hold on hindu india where he was considered a outside conqueror and they used him to save their kingdom and grow simple symbiotic relationship. Mutual love is when you love without wanting anything back in return from anyone that was not the case of these politically forged relationships.

Further if you visit agra/fatekpur etc the Jodha palace and Jehangir palace housed all his hindu wives not one wife as believed. That is what is told by guides there.
