Further regarding Akbar's fav wife some books say Ruq some say Salima others say Jodha so no one knows for sure and I do not care about it. I know Akbar was no lover boy like a Salim/Jehangir/Shah Jahan/Baz bahadur types whose love stories became a fable and were told and printed in story books and got imprinted in history without a film/serial.

I had never heard Akbar loved any wife till a Jodha Akbar movie. But I definetly had read in comics and books about Salim anarkali, roopmati baz bahadur and mumatz shah jahan and Jehangir nur jahan and even heard stories of them from others. Even school books mentioned only nur jahan and mumtaz among Mughal wives and till I watched movie Mughal e azam in early 2000s I had no clue a Jodha bai existed who was Akbar wife. After the movie Jodha Akbar controversy I came to know Jodha Bai was Jehangir wife not Akbar wife and Akbar wife was Hira Kunwari.

What I want to find is if Akbar loved Jodha so much why has he not mentioned even her name in Akbarnama?(or any wife for that matter.) That only means there was no serious love story on its like a normal marriage arranged for political reasons most probably. And a Shah Jahan ensure majority of his kids came from his beloved wife mumtaz but Akbar had kids from cocubbines and other wives too. And Akbar was an Casanova almost all life especially till his early 40s bringing woman he loved/liked in his harem and pleasuring himself whether those girls wanted or not or whether girl was anothers wife or not. The same held true of other Mughal emperors as well especially a Shah Jahan who was known for his love for mumtaz after her death he totally became a Casanova like Akbar.

But definitely filmmakers and serial makers find love in every relation they have made a love triangle of man bai salim and anarkali all know man bai and salim was arranged marriage and anarakli may/may not have really existed. Next they will have love triangle of man bai jagat Gosain and salim and then quadrangle of MB, JG and NJ with salim for sure.

So I will forget real history and enjoy this show as a fiction Bollywood masala with a pinch of history here there. 😉 I do not care who loved whom and why? For me this is a saas bahu sazish Bollywood potboiler on whom Salim gets and whom Akbar loves 😉 History anyone? Whats that just enjoy the show while it lasts 🥳

I think one important point is being lost in all this discussion n that is viewers as a whole, simply HATE Ruku, there's no denying that, at least the one in the JA show.

may b Akbar ws too much private type person to say abt his personal mattr openly.

The simple thing that is clear from the TRP charts is that - JA always raked HUGGEE trp when Akdha love story was being built n dealt , the moment Akdha was side lined , immediate downfall of the show occurred. So the solution is just too much simple, it's staring us in our face, Akdha first, Akdha in the middle n Akdha last n kick out negative characters that viewers are clearly not liking.

Please provide us with the names of books which says about Ruqlal relationship. .I gave mandy name of a most renowned work which talks about jodha's influence on him. .now it is ur turn. .you have often talked nonsense about Ruku. .infect i remember u once wrote that Ruk issued farmans but u never provided any proof or copy of any farman issued by her. .now i request you to tell the name of the book which talks about Ruqlal relationship because akbarnama keeps quite about her. .

In it's golden legendary trp days, JA never focussed on Akbar's political reign as the main story line, yet that never was a problem for the trps, in fact , the show just reached newer heights each day. So, it couldn't be possible that viewers are wanting more focus on Akbar's political Dos. Therefore that's not the problem here n the solution too, couldn't lie there.
