akbar was never a one woman bhakt and ruk always held her position in his life and i want that angle of closeness between the two shown

i am not liking the candy floss scenes of akhda they look forced instead show some brief moments of passion which make us believe they were together one night

more emphasis should be laid upon akbar and his 9 gems and abul fazal played an important role but he is hardly shown and that actor seems to have good dialogue delivery with strong command on urdu!

salim anar angle should be reduced to minimum as both the actors esp salim are not that impressive!

positivity or no positivity i want to see the reality and no white wash characters!

How strange,
_ Siyasat is being praised as a realistic portrayal of Akbar and the Mughals, yet the biological mother MUZ is skipped all together by saying she is not necessary to the story line.

_While in a show which is supposed to be about the love story of Jodha and Akbar, the same audience is asking the CVs to show the angle of Ruks and Jalal love. And somehow that is going to improve the show.

Mughal e Azam was a masterpiece which convinced us about the love story between Salim and Anarkali because it did not mess with the other begums of Salim. The main characters of the movie were Salim/ Anarkali, with the support of Jodha and Akbar...No one else... no Maanbai...no Ruks...no Jagat... Thats how to portray a love story. Not introduce every begum, baandi ect of jallal. This is not a show about Akbar the Great ( although I love him). It was supposed to be about the jpurney of Jodha and Akbar. There is absolutely no need for a Ruks Jallal angle. No Matter how much some hate Jodha/MUZ the show is about this couple only!!!

Let the focus go back to them and now that they have made Ruks so evil she MUST be sidelined and SAlim has to repsect his own parents otherwise the audience will not be able to relate to this show like it did before

BTW prem I agree with all you have said but I dont think the CVs care to do any of the above.

coolpree if that is the case then the show should have been like jodha akbar the movie..since that is not the case and akbar's every important wife is shown then why not show the reality?..heera kunwari was akbar's favorite hindu wife and there is no doubt about it but ruk always held her position and supremacy without any insecurities!

and in siyaasat its all about mehrunissa and salim still they have shown salim's other wives..but the main focus is not akbar and here the show is JA and salim's story is covering the whole screen which to me does not make sense..and akbar's portrayal in siyaasat is to the point..no nonsense is shown!

yes i do! because in reality they were close! ruk was plain looking and could not give jalal a child still he was kayal of her intelligence and wits and often consulted her..the reason he was close is that they were cousins and got married at such a young age that they grew up together and accepted each other..ruk never objected to him being physically involved with younger begums and concubines as her position was secure and jodha was never a threat to her as the real HK was intelligent and diplomatic as well. she very well knew ruk's position in harem and very tactfully she made her position and ruk never came in between her and jalal..jagat gosayini was more of a strong headed female who was not in good books of ruk that is why she got khurram from her and akbar could not say no to anything ruk wanted..but she did not do the same with salim, in fact she actually loved salim and this whole apheem thing is complete NR..my whole point is i want to see the reality..!

..and prem i strongly believe that akbar was no lover boy and treated all his khaas begums neutral, i am sure whatever love he showed towards them it was privately shown in their hojras ..and not the monogamy way publically the way they are showing in the show..it was salim who did the public display of love for noor as he was intoxicated most of the times!

and also prem i want jodha not be shown unrealistically goody goody but practical..anyway i feel the whole show is exaggerated and dramatized to make the viewers pop their eyes but i am more for realistic cinema and that is why i like siyaasat..its subtle and yet intense!
