Rajat Tokas, Shrishti Nayyar tie the knot in a grand wedding
The small screen heartthrob Rajat Tokas aka Akbar who got engaged to his girlfriend Shrishti Nayyar last year, tied the knot in a private cermony today. The madly in-love couple who are in a relationship from past 2 years will finally took the marriage vows. It was a very Grand Wedding.
Ironically, The modern-day Akbar got married his girl in the same location. Yes, Rajat married at Jag Mandir Palace, Udaipur. A royal location for a royal king! The palace has been booked by the Tokas family for 4 days. The former palace, is now splendidly transformed to host regal weddings. The venue was decorated to transform it into a beatiful and superlative sight.
Rajat was wearing a traditional blue sherwani and a royal elephant bought the groom in style! The bride Shristi was looking gorgeous in her red lehenga. It is heard that Mehendi was emotional, Sangeet was very fun, Haldi was crazy and wedding was amazing. The wedding buffet had a wide variety of food in oriental, Mexican, Kashmiri.
The mehendi, sangeet and farewell took place at Chunda Palace, Janana Mahal, Garden Palace respectively. The wedding was a very close net affair with family, relatives and a few close friends. Director producer of the show Jodha-Akbar, Chetan Hansraj, Jai Soni were among them. Rajat and Shristi danced to the romantic number Ore Piya, Salaam-e-Ishq and a punjabi number. Shristi performed solo on Saiyaan.
