Chapter 9
Jalal was standing dumbfounded watching Jo walk away from him, the pregnancy kit hits his chest and falls to the floor ...Jo stumbles, her hand wavering out, her body sways he suddenly realized she was about to fall, "damn it" he whimpered moving towards her as she falls into his arms, she looked pale and was sweating, breathing a little heavy...he picks her up and carries her to the bed and lays her down saying "don't move, let me call 911" starts moving away towards the phone when her hands grabs his wrists holding him back...she blinks a few times "I'm ok, I'm fine,.I just felt terribly dizzy and nauseated ...that's all... that feeling has passed now" ... Jalal touches her forehead then leans over and rests his forehead on hers, threads his fingers with hers in a tight clasp, saying "are you sure you don't want me to call 911 ...I almost died watching you...I am glad you are feeling ok, don't scare me like that again... I can't bear to see anything happen to you" Jo looks into his eyes lovingly, smiles, reaches out wrapping her arms around his neck, pulling his lips towards her saying "what can happen to me when I have such an awesome, caring husband?" and begins to kiss him passionately, she feels his body tensed and begins to caressing him slowly unbuttoning his shirt and feels him beginning to relax responding to her lead..."Jalal" she moans passionately, trailing kisses along his neck down his chest. Jalal pulls away licks his lips, a predatory gaze fills his eyes, as he pulls her into a sitting position his eyes never leaving hers as he slips his hands to the rim of her t-shirt, pulling it over her head quickly and tossing it to her floor, the rest of her clothes follow, he looks lustily at her naked body, gently pushes her back in bed and slowly dives his head into her chest, she catches her breath as he drags his tongue along her chest and gasps as his lips begin to suckle her ...his hands caressing them ..."baby, I want to take you slowly, create a lifelong memory for us...the last time you were incoherent, drunk and I don't know how much you recall...today it will be different." Her eyes twinkled in desire, she hears him moan in pleasure as her finger trace down his spine.. she trembles as her body automatically responds to his touch, their bodies soaring with passion as if on fire...Jalal looks into her eye ...he sees pure lust looking back at him, she closes her eyes, blushing "look at me baby" he whispers ...she looks at him, he looks at her silently "I can't" ...he groans "I can't" and rolls off her...breathing heavy. Jo was taken back ...she leans over him, runs her fingers through his hair and says "what happened Jalal?" He pushes her gently and gets off the bed and picks her up, carries her to the bathroom and sits her on the vanity counter...picks up the pregnancy kit, gives it to her, wraps his arms around her waist, leans his forehead against hers and says "we might get wild and, I might hurt you and the baby if you are pregnant, I don't want to feel guilty again, we'll check and see if you are pregnant" Jo kisses his nose, hugs him tight saying "I love you Jalal" he just whispers "we are still learning about love remember" pulls away and says "I'll read the instructions on the box" winks at her with a sly grin, Jalal reads the instructions and Jo follows it faithfully ... Back hugging Jo, he looks over her, resting his chin on her shoulder, together they anxiously watch the testing strip result window, time came to a standstill as they watched the clock tick slowly...5 minutes pass ... no line...per the instructions on the box, it meant she was not pregnant ...she giggles excitedly "see, I told you it is just a stomach virus" hugging him tight, tears running down her cheeks... Jalal lifts her up, she wraps her legs around his waist and her arms around his neck as he sits her on the counter and share a passionate kiss. With a sigh of relief Jalal says "all this tension, you should stop eating the filthy street food, I'm glad the test was negative ...ready for our honeymoon baby?" Jo blushes, leans against his chest hugging him and whispers "what do you think, I texted you to come home early didn't I?" pulls away and continues "by the way, how did you manage to come early today, I called the office and could not reach you" A small smile plays at the corner of his lips as he says "I had a perfect day planned for us for tomorrow, when I got your text I was on the jet going to Canada, nothing is more important to me than my wife, I quickly cancelled the meeting and had them turnaround...not every man gets lucky to prepone his honeymoon" he lifts her off counter and continues "I have a perfect evening planned for us..."
Jalal takes her out on a dinner date, flowers...theater...food...romantic stroll down the river bank...and back home... "Hmmm, you are so romantic...Jalal, I don't want this to end..." she whispers into his ears, arms wrapped around each other's waists as they walk up the steps to their mansion. Once inside, he grabs by her thighs and lifts he up against him forcing her to wrap her legs around his waist as he carries her to their bedroom...she wraps her arms around his neck and begins tracing a line using her tongue, starting behind his ears, slowly moving down to his shoulder ...he lays her down on the soft bed...the room was semi dark ..illuminated by the moonlight that poured inside through glass windows.. he walks over and turns the music on, plays "chaahe kuch na kehna, bhale chup tu rehna, mujhe hai pata, tere pyaar ka, khamosh chehra, aankhon pe pehra khud hai gawahtere pyaar ka" (song from murder 3) pulls her out of the bed for a slow sensuous romantic dance... they undress each other as their bodies moved to the music, kissing fondling in between, a low moan escapes him as she begins to touch him and feel him... he pushes her back slowly on to the bed...Jodha stops suddenly gently pushing him away and says "oopps ...look what you made me do, I almost forget...my birth control pills... I should not be in the same sticky situation twice" and walks to the dresser and takes the pill...runs, jumps back on him and begins kissing him passionately... "Hmmm my wild kitten is going crazy with lust eh" he rolls her over and pins her down, his eyes scan every inch of her body, runs a finger from head to toe saying "all mine ..100% mine" Jo gets embarrassed and is unable to control her emotions, blushes heavily ... "Jalal, don't torture me like this na" she whimpers, he looks at her passionately and says "I've been waiting so long for this, we have a long night ahead of us babes, you're ready for it" she nods pinching his nipples... "you are getting bold my bratty wild kitten" he hissed passionately... "Jo I am really nervous today for the first time in my life before sx" she looks at him a little confused and he continues "every time I have thought only about my needs and pleasured myself, this is the first time I will be learning to pleasure you...and will be teaching you to pleasure me ...we'll exploring each other...I hope I don't scare you" he groaned against her lips, he could feel her trembling with need and she kissed him and allowed him access to intimacy, he held out till she begged him to take her...and he did slowly ... she buries her face in his chest moaning as he takes her closer and closer to the edge his eagle eyes watching her as she became undone completely under his spell right under his gaze, suddenly he grabs her hand and pins them about her head, captures her lips, reenters forcefully and begins slamming, her eyes widen with passion, her body trembles, she loudly moans as Jalal takes her to a completely different realm she vaguely hears him moan as he slumps on her, his heart pounding against her ears, his skin glistening with sweat, breathless. "Jo" he whispered bringing her back to reality" "did I hurt you?" she tilts her head, lifts herself up, "no, are you ready for round two" and begins to tickle him... They spent the night passionately in each other arms.
Jodha suddenly wakes up in a sweat, severe sharp pains to lower stomach she reaches and massages her belly the pain settles...Jalal's legs were tangled with her...sees Jalal sleeping like a baby, his face looked so innocent she smiles recalling their night together ...suddenly another wave of sharp pains ...she grabs the soft linen as she muffles her painful groan, she has had mild cramps with her cycle in the past, but this was different... she did not want to wake Jalal he is a light sleeper. She waits for the pain to subside and slowly wiggles her herself out of the bed when Jalal grabs her hands ..another wave of sharp pains, she grabs Jalal's arms, her nails dug into his skin "Jo, are you ok, what happen" he catapults to sitting position, "baby what happen, why are you sweating?" he sees tears rolling down her cheeks "I don't know I have severe back and stomach pains, I think I am coming on my cycle" Jalal looks at her alarmingly ..does not buy her story says "didn't you tell me you are one of the lucky girls that have zero problems with your monthly issues...something is wrong Jo, I'm calling 911 lets go to the hospital" he gets off the bed, she stops him and says, "just get my phone I'll call my doctor and see what she advices" another bout of pain, Jalal notices her sitting in a pool of blood, he panics and screams "hai kudha" almost passes out, Jo was not prepared for this situation...she gets out of bed helps him lie down and orders him to stay put, walks over gets her phone and calls her doctor, explains the situation. "We have to go to the hospital now" she tells Jalal "I am going to get ready, can you please arrange for a driver or should I take a cab" Jalal jumps out of bed furious, "what you don't trust me enough to take you to the hospital, I don't care what you think, I am coming and I am driving" and he storms into the bathroom with her to get ready. Jo sees no point arguing with him, they get ready, every time the pain struck Jalal was by her side, rubbing her back, hugging her kissing her, supporting her. Jalal had carried her to the car and they were on their way to the hospital. Dr Zehr met at them emergency room as the staff wheeled Jo away Dr Zehr said "Mr Jalal I would like to speak with you privately" and escorts him to a consultation room. Jalal was anxious, hyperventilating "Mr Jalal, you need to calm down, she is the one having the pain and bleeding, you have to be strong and support her ok" Jalal slumps back in his chair, begins to cry "is she ok, maybe I was too rough" Jalal starts ranting finally Dr Zehr had to shake him to calm him down "Jalal, your wife is pregnant and she is having a miscarriage" Jalal looks surprised and shocked says "we did the home pregnancy test and it was negative" the doctor tells him "those kits are not very accurate, they are about 69% accurate, we did the blood test and I checked when she came in, it was positive" Jalal grabs his head lowers his gaze to the floor "since her pregnancy test was negative, she started taking her birth control pills, hai Allah, what have I done" Jo was rushed for an emergency D&C and discharged home with bed rest, pelvic rest instructions that afternoon. Jalal was more shaken with the experience than Jo. On their drive back home Jo sees a very tensed Jalal "Jalal, it's done, stop worrying" she tries to cool him down a bit. "Jodha" he sounded broken "what the hell have I done to you", he reached over and gripped her hands tightly, his voice was low, jaw clenched, Jo could not be strong anymore, tears start streaming down her face, Jalal pulls over ... his arms were around her, he pressed her face to his neck and whispers, "I'm sorry Jo, I feel guilty as hell" Jo hugs him back and whispers "don't be guilty, remember the doctor said this can happen in early pregnancy, I took birth control pills so the fault is equally mine, we lost our first baby, I lost a part of myself" she sobs as her body shudders violently, Jalal sobs silently as well, they sit in the car hugging each other crying silently for their loss. No words needed, Jalal starts the car and they drive home holding hands in silence.
