Newbie Rohit Joshi bags his first big-ticket show as an actor on television!! The young lad will now enter Balaji Telefilms' popular show Jodha Akbar on Zee TV.

The guy from Jaipur came to Mumbai three months back with a dream of being part of the Balaji Telefilms family. In fact, he was almost through to playing the lead role of Arjun in Ekta Kapoor's Sony PAL show, <em>Yeh Dil Sun Raha Hai</em> when destiny kept him away from bagging the role.

And now, lady luck has smiled on him as he has been finalized for the important role of Farhan in Jodha Akbar. Farhan will be the closest associate, body guard, guide and best buddy of Salim (Ravi Bhatia).

They will be the thickest of friends, and Salim who would be averse to his father Akbar (Rajat Tokas) will always rely on Farhan's advices.

Rohit's entry in the Zee TV show will be aired tonight (18 December).

Also, the buzz in the industry and amongst people who have closely watched Rohit is that he happens to be a look-alike of the heartthrob of TV who has made a mark in films, Sushant Singh Rajput.

When contacted, Rohit confirmed the news to Tellychakkar.com saying, "Yes, I am entering Jodha Akbar. It has been my dream to become an actor, and I am glad I will be on screen from today (smiles)."
