~Part 8~

Piece of advice: "Forget her; it's easy"

"Dil jude bina hi tutt gaye.." wept Maan. "Aansoon hai ki ruk hi nahi rahe."

"yeh filmy dialogues bolna band karo," Jalal scolded, handing him a bottle of lemon juice. "Here drink this. It will help your hangover."

"Kya yaar.." Maan said. "Ladkiyon ke baarein mein hum kabhi aise serious nahi the, lekeen patta nahi ki inh dono mein kya khaas hai."

Jalal felt a little uncomfortable hearing Maan mention them 'both'. He still wasn't serious about Jodha and himself. "You barely evenknow her," Jalal tried to reason. "Do you love her because she is pretty? Cause if that's the case, then sorry to burst your bubble but it's not love."

"Kya yaar.." Maan said, his voice hoarse from all that crying. "I thought you knew me better than that!"

"I know you," Jalal said. "Just don't forget what our title is: The Bad Boys. We can't let that go because of two people."

"Jalal-"

"Haven't you seen how the college makes fun of us?" Jalal asked Maan. "Our abrupt behavioral change into the good guys is NOT something to be proud about." "Everyone thinks that we are some goody goods who just follow and do what Jodha and Rukaiya tell us to do."

"erm.." Maan said, embarrassed. He got a flashback.

Flashback:

"Yaar acche insaan nahi hote hai iss duniya mein," the eleven year old Jalal sobbed, telling Maan. "My father was 'good' and he left us!"

"I understand dost," Maan said patting his dost's back.

"He is dead to us, now," Jalal told him. "You know.. he's a stranger to me now."

"Yaar, kya sach mein acche insaan nahi hotein hai iss duniya mein?" Maan wondered aloud.

Jalal looked up wiping his tears. "Nahi toh."

"Phir hum kyun acche hai?" Maan asked. "Agar iss duniye mein sirf mere step-mom aur tumaare dad jeise selfish log hai, toh hum kyun acche bane?"

"Kyunki meri ma ne mujhe yehi sakhaya hai," Jalal said. "Ki accha hona best hai. Aur jeet achai ki hoti hai."

"Toh phir tumahri ma ki jeet kyun nahi huy?" Maan snapped. "Why did your father have to leave this world? He didn't think about you!"

Jalal failed to come up with an answer.

"No one knows," Maan says for him.

"Toh phir final hai?" Jalal questioned?

"Kya?" Maan asked.

"Joh tum kehna chaate ho? Ki hum bhi bure banege?" Jalal replied.

"Nahi mere dost," Maan said. "Hum bure nahi.. hum banege bad boys."

Jalal and Maan shake hands.

End of flashback.

"You were the one reason why we became what we are known for today. The Bad. Now, you can't risk our title for that joker Rukaiya."

"What are you saying, dost?" Maan asked him.

"All I am saying is that you know as well as I, no one can beat that Varun. He is just way too charming, sorry-" he added, seeing Maan look disheartened.

"Toh piece of advice.." Jalal said, simply. "Forget her; it's easy."

"Forget her, it's easy," Maan said mimicking Jalal. "Why do you want to be the villain of my story, mere dost?"

"Don't forget, I'm not the villain. Varun is!" Jalal snapped.

"Ok thik hai," Maan agreed. Jalal looked up at his friend, surprised that he agreed so easily.

"Par-"

"Par kya?" Jalal asked, sensing this wasn't about to be good.

"You also forget Jodha."

"Ok thik h- KYA?" Jalal said, jumping up.

"What kya?" Maan said, standing up. "IF I must forget Rukaiya to maintain our title, then you must forget that Jodha as well!"

"Maan, you're being unreasonable," Jalal said. "What has innocent Jodha done?"

Maan stayed adamant on his decision and walked away from there.

"Right.." Jalal thought. "Fine..?" "And besides, what problem can Jodha have?"

...

"Breakup?" Jodha screamed. "Jalal!" she said, shaking him. "This is no joke!"

Jalal pushed Jodha's cute light pink spectacles up her nose. "arre, it's no big deal. Meine pele bhi kiya hua hai aisa," Jalal chuckled.

"Who do you think you are?" Jodha asked him.

"I am that bad boy you decided to become friends with, despite knowing my nature."

"I thought you were special.." Jodha said, blinking back her tears. "I thought MY life was gonna be unique. I thought there was a life for me outside of books and studying." She stabbed her finger in his chest. "You proved me wrong."

"You have made our relation meaningless, just like every other relation out there where people just ditch each other."

"I'm sorry, I didn't know you'd take all this so seriously.." "You know me. I- it's over."

Jalal just wanted to get this over with. Breaking up with someone was never this painful.

"Your mother must be so proud of you, na?" Jodha asked him.

Jalal turned away, stiffly. Leaving Jodha standing there he left.

"Why did I even let myself get into all of this.." Jodha muttered. "Jeez." She stopped herself from crying and went to classes all day normally.

That night when she got into her dorm; she broke out crying. She fell to the ground and Moti dropped her magazine, rushing over to her.

She embraced Jodha, knowing that something awful must have happened. For a moment then, Moti forgot about her own rudeness as she tried to soothe her enemy.

2 Years Later:-

"Please help me, Sir. These people are after me."

"What?"
"Get- out."

Okay guys, I know I updated really late.🤔My laptop broke so yeah..😆But- yeah, I'll try to update soonish when my brother lets me borrow his laptop. I hope you guys like the update.

I am kind of bored of this college stuff, so I decided to take a two year leap.🤪
