In this whole period jalal showed immense strength and his presence of mind ,the research he did ,we do that when we really love someone selflessly .

Still he broke down at the very sight of his fiery girl ,it was bound to happened ,I knew it picture is not going to be pleasant one still I was as helpless as jalal .

'NO! I need to do this now!' he huffed in a very un-Jalal like manner, the agitation rendering him almost short of air 'I'm not mad! Why do you think I'm trying so frantically to get her out of this state ASAP? Kyunki, all research I've read has proved that the best chances to revive a coma patient is within the first four-five weeks... after that... her probabilities of slipping into a permanent vegetative state are MUCH HIGHER

My heart sank at this moment ,can't even imagine what jalal must be going through ,keeping this inside must have been killing him but he had to to be brave for others and jalal did just that but his breaking point come soon when he tried frantically with video and keep on checking her for response,I just could see that scene ,feel it ,I was cring with jalal .

Then

'For what? For trying?' bade bhaiyya quipped 'Strange, isn't it? Grown men like us... reduced to tears because of people we care about...' he paused, before inserting a significant adjective there 'Grown STRONG men like us...'

Men like us ,finally bade bhaiyya said it so now jalal is his man .the advice he gave him that pat on shoulder ,I am sure jo is on 9 th cloud ,I was .

Finally

'Jo!' he gasped under his breath the moment a massive burden had just been knocked off his shoulders 'Tujhe tho...' he sniggered in disbelief, as he spoke his first words to a 'conscious' Jodha Singh 'Is that really what you told the nurses? Your first words? That you had to wake up because you want to celebrate your 63^rd birthday?'

'To celebrate it with you' she mouthed a correction. And made it a point to beam, though exhausted.

His jo was back where she belonged to her jalal.

Shards I have no words to express my gratitude ,my happiness ,,you are a gem ,you have no idea how talented you are ,you make your reader feel ,go on a journey and this this time from last chapter it has been roller coaster ride for me ,so many up and down and finally such a sweet present. I have never been so emotional at list while reading any novel but you made me feel every thing what our jalal ,jodha and what whole family was feeling .

I was suppose to take nap after reading this chappy but whole thing was on repeat on my head ,I was thinking about every ones emotions ,I was feeling jalal and loved bade bhaiyya today.

Love you shards ,just one koshin how jo wake up since I see none of our theories came true 😆

Wait a sec - you asking how she woke up?

She woke up because of Jalal's repeated never-giving-up efforts re...

See - once he's reconciled with 'life' and its unpredictability after bhaiyya's sermon, he picked up the pieces and started living life on more normal terms. But Jodha was always there.. part of his everyday routine too...

So he kept up with office work, police chakkar, phyio appointments, ammi etc...

and also this (we get to read about his new routine - in the physio's clinic) means he goes to her everyday... spends an hour with her... talks to her... plays her the clip...

Just enough time. To get to the hospital for his 5:30 - 6:30 pm daily catch-up session. To chat with Jo about his day. Play her their favourit-est video clip.

It was that video clip that helped her come out it..

that's why her first lines - the ones she wakes up telling the nurses - are the lines from the clip na

'I want to celebrate my 63rd birthday! (with Jalal)'

😳

Only, it didn't happen overnight.. or a week... took a month... but it was 'healing' not 'magic' remember!

P.S. also the whole thing becomes a circle/cycle... Jalal was about to delete that video clip during that break up - which he didn't... turns out that birthday clip was her 'favouritest' sentiment in the whole wide world! 😉
