Hello,
Today we saw the stage getting set for Insaanification 2, coming soon at TV screen in front of you. Let's look at the signs,
1. Intense Jalaal
2. Intense Jodha Beghum
3. Mention of the words, ghrina, and anuchit
Given that I have watched a few EK shows in my time, the couple that lost the baby, loses their minds is the modus operandi, with the man blaming his wife, himself, God, Solar system, neighbouring galaxy for the tragedy, even though, both he and the wife are perfectly healthy and fertile, and were perfectly stupid. I mean, death of a child brings lot of sadness, but it doesn't lead to such fall-outs.
It was evident that for all his calm and support to his wife during Hasan's death, his own feelings had been growing bitter, and with death of Hussein, the breakdown was inevitable.
Now time for observations,
1. Jalaal getting wet in the rain, because, well he hadn't taken bath for the past two days.
2. Though, 3 years had passed, Todarmal was still wearing the same jaama.
3. Salima still retains her brains and gives people their two cents when it's due, but, then, didn't you jump the gun when you said Z had killed Hasan? That part was never proved.
4. Moti needs to relax, seriously, she was trying to be an image consultant again today, but, thankfully Jodha side-stepped her. About time.
5. In the funeral procession, how did Mahesh Das walked along Bharmal, traditions of the day, wouldn't allow for such a faux pas. But, yeah we all know what an attention hogger he is.
6. I know Akbar is agitated, but, why scream always, (but that "ye kya shor macha rakha hai" in the last scene and that "Nahi" was funny, as was Ruq's reaction to it, "LOL, K, whatever, cool it ,")
8. That shamsheer has already tasted Rajvanshi blood Jodha beghum, during the war with Sukanya's almost husband, so all that Accuchek ad bit, was, um, unnecessary.
7. Finally, the ghosts are back, and they did some live commentary for us, in case we were dumb enough to not get the point, with all those ignoring each other, and walking by without any eye contact bit.
That said, today's episode was aesthetically shot, with beautiful panoramic shots.
The said 3 years were undoubtedly, violent ones in Akbar's reign, but, well Akbar I am sure didn't act like he had mouth ulcers. Sublimity, you fickle maiden. 😆
Somewhere, at the end of all this, I see a massive sobfest by Jalaal, with gallons of tears, and kneeling, bending, folding of hands. Till then, let's bask in the glory of imbecilic NR, and the dashing Jalaal.
And we have some one special,
Hi, I am heart, and when I stop beating, um, everything pretty much stops.
Reaction,
Those cleopatra eyes...
😆😆😆
