I watched today's episode only because Sindhu asked me to , just to see the talented pair of Paridhi and Rajat . Hats off to them . They were awesome as the grief-stricken parents .Thank you Sindhu 😛. It was hard for me to watch , I too cried along with Jodha and Jalal.

To lose a child , is the worst pain a parent can endure . The mother especially , she has cocooned the infant in the protective warmth of her womb , felt his every movement inside and then brought him into this world , forgetting the pain of childbirth , just to enjoy his presence and see him grow .When this happiness is cut short permanently , the sorrow of that mother is immeasurable and unimaginable . She can never forget him and move on , she will just mundanely carry on with her life .
Today the grief-stricken Jodha lamented that in spite of only doing good for others why did she have to undergo something so tragic . I have the same question too ... She who readily understood the feelings of a motherless fellow queen and magnanimously agreed to give her a twin , should be punished in such a horrible way ... call it a cruel game of destiny , taking the form of Zeenat .'Mera ansh , meta bachcha ', she wailed, the truth is ... both Jalal and Jodha have lost a part of themselves by losing their babies . Jodha and Jalal had just started enjoying parenthood , having to say a final goodbye to their beloved firstborns would never ever have crossed their minds .

The Shehnshah trying to console his grief-stricken wife was touching . He was desperately trying to be strong for her, breaking down with silent tears that she could not see . It was a heart wrenching sight to see Jalal carrying his baby wrapped in white to his final resting place .

Henceforth , we will witness a new phase in the lives of Jodha and Jalal . The grief of losing their babies will strengthen their bond . From now on begins their journey of survival . It is going to be one where both of them will derive strength from each other and endure all kinds of hardships coming their way .

I did not want to write about Rukaiyya at all , however I could not help myself from noticing how she grabbed baby Hussein from Jodha's arms . I think we will see her full blown insecurity tomorrow when Jalal asks her to hand over baby Hussein to Jodha for comfort . This will also trigger anger and she may end up doing something stupid and bring about her own ruin . Cannot wait for this to happen .

Jalal is getting to see the selfish and self centered Rukaiyya . I want her to continue exhibiting her ungenerous behavior so that Jalal's disappointment towards her turns to revulsion . Rukaiyya is treading the path of self destruction really well , she needs no help from Zeenat . Her thirst for power will reduce her to a nonentity .

Charu,

Thanks so much!

You have written very well about the shared yet different grief of Jodha and Jalal. And the loss of a child, a new born. Your views, esp those about JJ embarking on a new phase in life, echo my sentiments.

Regarding Ruqaiyya, I too feel that Jalal will be disgusted by her behavior, esp when he knows that Jodha had magnanimously given Hussein to RUq and, even now in her state of virtual collapse, has not asked for him back. His pain in seeing Jodha self-destructing contrasted with Ruq's immature behavior will make him emotionally distant from RUq, to the extent of ignoring her totally.

There are some moments in life when you wonder if it is worth going on, but those moments are also a gauge of your true strength. Yesterday we saw that in abundance as Akbar and Hira Kunwari, gave us a glimpse of the depths of despair and hopelessness but also the strength they gave each other with their presence.

Did I say Akbar and Hira Kunwari, Sorry! I should say Rajat and Paridhi, but that is how good they were yesterday. A masterly performance that will be remembered. Both are ready for the big stage. After this serial ends I expect both to make a try at movies and succeed.

As for the serial, we can expect Ruqaiya to show her colours now. I expect more smirks from Ruqs and more insults and torture for Jodha ahead, culminating in the horror of another death. This phase could take a week or two. We will have to endure.

Ruqaiya is hard to watch these days. One of the most selfish and disgusting characters on TV.

In this serial, if Dadisa had taken Hussain with her to Amer( if that is the way it plays out), he might have been saved, but because of Ruqaiya's selfishness, it does not happen. Another black mark against Ruqs, Akbar will remember this when the times comes to punish her.

Sorry Donjas for the late response and thanks for appreciating the writeup. 😊

@bold: Very true. Such moments separate the ordinary folk from the extraordinary ones.

I mostly agree with your views. But i differ on one point. I don't know whether Hussein would have survived if Dadisa had taken him to Amer. Destiny is fixed at birth. If he was destined to die, he would have died at the appointed hour, irrespective of whether he was in Agra or Amer.

But I understand the sentiments behind the words. 😊 I do believe that from today, Ruq will spiral downwards into the abyss of no return. Looking forward to see when she will be punished. 😊

Watch it NOT ONLY for RT and PS..

Today watch the episode for Jodha Akbar.

Amidst all the NR which we are fed up of, i am pretty sure, the scenes we saw today must have been replicated in the Fort of Agra .!!!

Didn't we all feel a Tsunami of Humanistic Feelings.?.
Didn't we all get all those emotionS one could think of, in such a setting.?.

" The rush of arrows and the clash of swords,
Tore the marrow of elephants and the entrails of tigers. "

^^^^^^ These lines "be-jewel" the capability of Shahenshah-e-Hind Jalal-ud-din Mohammed Akbar...Can we think of the man who had the ENTIRE Hindustan at HIS Feet, but was helpless.?. The Man who Proclaimed that he can write(and he DID) the destiny with HIS Sword, was a spectator before the Decree of God..!!!.

Coming to Jodha. She was so much broken today, that she even said, why God took Hasan and why not her.?. I can not think of better lines by Ghalib , to describe this moment :>

English Translation

I am left with no hope at all,
No possibility to reach my goal,

The Day of my death is fixed,
I can not sleep all night.

Then, the state(s) of my heart which used to make me laugh
Now it (laughter) doesn't come for anything.

Though I know the reward of obedience and worship,
But I have no tendency for it.

I am silent for a certain reason,
Otherwise I can convince you with my words,

Why I shouldn't cry,
For when I don't, she asks about me,

My heart is burning, though you cannot see the spot,
But O my doctor, can't you smell my heart burn?

I have reached to a certain state,
From where even I cannot find myself.

I am dying (Waiting anxiously) for my death,
I don't know where my death has gone.

Can we imagine the plight of Akbar - HK.?.
How it feels for a father to carry his "ANSH" {as Jodha says it}, to the graveyard.?.
The face of Jodha and Akbar displayed a 1000 shades today, each more subtle than the other.

Only people who are capable of loving strongly can suffer great sorrow, but this same necessity of loving serves to counteract their grief and heals them. Today Jalal was playing the same role for Jodha. Having said this, i also want to add that, the grief always remains there.. It has been said time heals all wounds. I differ a bit here.. The wounds remain. In time, the mind protecting it's sanity covers them and the pain lessens, but it's never gone."

"Agar kuch hota hai to woh yeh ki, Waqt ke saath us dukh ki "Kashish" "kam" ho jaati hai, par wo "kashish" kabhi "khatm" nahi hoti, woh kayamat tak aapke saath rehti hai.". We can wipe the tears from our eyes, but we can not wipe the pain from our heart.

I admit that i do not shed tears easily, but this episode brought me "almost on the verge" of shedding them. The scene looked so original. It was "saddingly ethereal" . I agree with you that neither can we compare the grief of the parents nor can we say who suffered more..When your fear touches someone's pain, it becomes pity, when your love touches someone's pain, it become compassion..

Did we notice this today.?. Did we notice Jalal's Love being converting into compassion for Jodha. He was very much present with her so that she no longer wrestles with the grief, but could sit down with it as a lasting companion(Jalal) and make it a sharer in her thoughts.

They say that the darkest night produces the brightest stars. In my view, the story becomes EPIC by such poignant display of emotions. I have heard that even a hundredfold grief is divisible by love.

Your partner complements you. While Jodha was with Jalal as his pillar, after he was broken hearing MA's crude words to THEIR unborn sons. Today, it was Jalal who played the same role for Jodha. Tears shed for someone are not a sign of weakness. They are a sign of a pure heart. Jalal and Jodha BOTH have went through the phase.

What can i say about Jalal. The "MAN" in him was very much present there, as a shield for Jodha. Apart from this i would request all not to judge the bereaved mother today. She lost the most beautiful thing she could keep in her heart.

NOW,

She is breathing, but she is dying.
She may look young, but inside she has turned old.
She may smile, but her heart sobs.
She may walk, may talk, may work. She is, but she is not, all at once.
She is here, but part of her is elsewhere for 'eternity' ."

RIP -||- Akbar and Harka Bai..

You both were NOT supposed to meet, but you MET..And,
You scripted the "UNscriptable script"...!!!..!!!...I can't ADD more here.!. TODAY, I feel short of words..

@blue: couldn't agree more.
@red: couldn't disagree more.

Impactful and veracious write-up Abhay. 👏

Both were so real and the love of Jodha and Jalal was shining brightly in the midst of this tragedy . we were transported to 450 yrs to see how these two had gone thru the pain..i still feel that these are real jodha and akbar who took rebirth to show thr love and pain to the whole world and how they became others strength .. thr is a saying kuch gaav itna gehra hota hai ki saamay ke saath dard kum hosakta hai..par is gaav ko kabi nahi bhool payenge ...chahe kitna bache bi aye unke zindagi main par Hassan aur hussain ko khone ka dard kabi nahi bhool payenge.
Paridhi as a distraught mother was a picture of grief and Jalal was her rock strength . The way he held her ,swallowed his pain to support her was beautifully shot it was not ott but very natural and real... The most emotional episode of JA and the soul connection of JJ was very touching
Its more painful for parents to loose thr kids...how real jodha akbar tolerated the agony of seeing their youthful sons's Daniyal n Murad's death. Its so painful to see jodha cursing her fate...? Liked jalaal telling to remove the palana and telling her firmly if she dies he will also die along with her ...There is so much warmth & love and the way Jalal consoled and stood by JO is superb... When HB came JO pleaded Jalaal she want to see her son last time, why can't she the way Jalaal said NO you won't get through the pain and Jo saying kanha she will not pray from now on is so heart touching... Can't even begin to imagine the pain real Akbar and Hk must have gone through.. next will be Hussain after few days..now this will make JoJa's love even stronger. They both have and will need only each other to come out of this pain. I loved the scene where Jalal was holding Jodha in his arms giving her the support she needed. Worrying for her. He was shocked and hurt even more than he already was when Jodha said she wished to die..
Y god was so cruel to them..y he punished them so severely..wat was thr mistake..since they both were born in a royal family ... was it the price they paid for being what they were?? did Abar and jodha really deserve such grave punishment in life?? Why god punished them again and again..for any parent to see one kid dying infront of thr eyes literally kills them..here thr 3 sons who were infants and one daughter and later on murad and daniyal who were grownup's...how they survived thru this pain again and again.. None can understand a mother's pain on having lost her child. Same goes for a father..
Today's episode is dedicated to only jodha and akbar..dont want to talk about precap and spoil my mood..all thanks to maddy..coz of her I dared to watch this beautiful episode.. Coming to rukku's bandaphod... they il show exactly opposite to wat we wanted to see..so I don't want to keep any false hopes on this or rukku's bandaphod...I was the one who was so confident that this time for sure rukku il get caught..but now I hv lost all hopes and not expecting any thing but want to see my jodha jalal happy..

Gem,

Thanks for the lovely post!

Have faith. Today I feel very strongly that Ruq will drive away Jalal with her selfish and insensitive behavior. Just wait and watch 😊

Do keep watching the episodes. The story is going to unfold in a way you would never have imagined. Just watch it for Jodha and Akbar as they come alive in front of you.

Why can't Ruqaiyya die in this Natakiya Rupantar!!!!! I am fed up with her... How can a woman be like this!!! Maternal feelings, compassion for others are the basic quality of a woman... God knows what is she made of!!!! Kis miti ki bani hai woh!!! I am not married but still however modern I am, I will never ever let my husband beg infront of me... I was totally disgusted with her in that scene.. Jodha ki chodo she doesn't even care for her husband and her so called friend... Ase dost ho toh dusman kise zarurat hai...!!!

I was mesmerized by the acting of Paridhi and Rajat yesterday. Actually acting is not the correct word, they were not acting they WERE the characters.

I cried with them and we are lucky to have such magnificent leads for JA depicting HK and Akbar.

Paridhi never gets enough praise here, this entire month she has been super, the MA track and now this track. I just want to say Paridhi's Jodha is the reason I started watching, I love Rajat too but still for me it is all about Jodha. The way I see it, I LOVE Jodha's Jalal and not Ruk's. I hope soon there won't be anybody's Jalal but ONLY Jodha's. There already is ONLY Jodha's Jalal but the formalities remain which hope we will get to see with adequate justice to Jodha and Jalal.

It should be ONLY about them - I don't even want to take name of other cos not worth it.

Maddy,

Spoken like only you can - I know how much you love Paridhi and Jodha and Jodha's Jalal. 😃

Paridhi and Rajat have been terrific and making Jodha and Akbar come alive on our screens. It's like we are witnessing actual history unfold in front of us.

All of us want to see Jodha's Jalal and I am hopeful pretty soon we are going to see him. 😊

Thanks for posting! 🤗

You have described their agony so impeccably. It never ceases to amaze me, the way you write. Right from your heart but it never spills over completely. It remains restrained and focused even in face of so much emotion that must have gone in typing those words.

Your post made me emotional all over again 😭 Never stop making posts. Love them and you!

Thanks so much, Ann! I equally love your natural style of writing that looks like it has just flown out of your heart without any conscious effort on your part 😆 Yeah, I know, it takes more effort to write naturally.👏

Love you too 🤗

JO shouted at moti how can she cover her child with the cloth t& asking Shahansha to bring back Hassan, still JO is in denial and Jalaal firmly tells her to accept the truth now..That entire scene the pain is so visible on JJ and the way Jalaal hold JO feeling the pain himself when the baby is taken also he just hold her so tight giving her all the support is just superb.

I liked the way jo said how she was happy to cradle Hassan and question why did happens to her when she never hurt or do any harm to anyone ? Liked the way Jalaal again hold JO from the back so strong and taking her hand in his giving comfort & consoling her that this bad phase will go one is so commendable... Jalaal is crying himself but still he is being strong & giving JO the strength ..

When paalna is removed Jalaal hold JO so tight telling her, he can't see her pain & you have to be strong for me is so wonderfully portrayed by JJ..

I liked the way JO said all lost in the pain that she wants to sleep permanently and GOD have taken her instead of Hassan.. Jalaal so softly & strongly firmly tells her tell your kanha if he takes you tell him take me also with & you.. So much love, pain & warmth the way Jalaal consoled and both spend their night remembering Hassan, still giving each other the strength and assurance is superb...

When HB came JO pleaded Jalaal she want to see her son last time, why can't she the way Jalaal NO you won't get through the pain and Jo saying kanha she will not pray from now on is so heart touching..

I am feeling bad for the real JJ who have gone through this next will be Hussein after few days..

Hats of Rajat & Paridhi for a wonderful acting, with good dialogues and direction...

Abhi,

Written so beautifully - you reminded me of the golden moments all over again. Why I call them golden in spite of the pain they contain is because they also contain the immense love of JJ for each other. These two are totally broken by their son's death and yet find it in them to try to assuage the pain of the other and give them strength to live.

Thanks for posting, Abhi! You write from the heart and so wonderfully at that!
