Excellent performances from Ashwini as MA who, though I ve had no sympathies with since her MC kaand khulaasa, managed to bring out tears for her performance if not the justification for her deeds.

You feel her pain ... but you don't sympathize for it ... at least that is how it is for me

And Chetan came into his own too in his last scene, how much he was wasted here is such a pity

Regarding RT he rarely fails to deliver & yday too he was so bangon though the speech to the awaam seemed a bit OTT & unwanted to me.

I think the awaam piece was his message to all through this incident that he would punish that would hurt those who are loyal to him ... even his own ... and they made it dramatic ... or else the viewer may miss out on that interpretation

Regarding Jodha s dialogue & her seeming reactions in the precap, I ve already said I ll wait & watch before commenting. But more than Jo s reactions & her bhashan/shirking away , am going to focus more on how Jalal is goinh to handle it. I know he must already be drained out after all the emotional & physical traumas, but still I want him to stand steadfast for what he did & maybe make Jodha understand something other than her POV. We ve all seen Jalal s evolution in all these months, a Jallad to an Akbar, I think now its time Jodha s seen evolving too because she seems to be at almost a standstill in that department in all these months.

Indeed- we are hoping we see the evolution today!

It is excellent, as usual.

The episode was the best yet after Jalal's grief ravaged Dargaah one when Jodha (why didn't umm. "Sleep forever"??)

After that , this was the best one.

Rajat's Jalal was BEYOND SUPERLATIVE on second viewing, but it was Ashwini's Maham who touched me deeply. Its surprising to see how deep (and toxic!!!) Her love for her bilogical son, and her son who is much more than just a son, is.

Ive always felt that it is Maham's guilt , that maternal guilt that Adham always viciously appealed to, that made Maham do all that she did. Her true son, was always her Jalal.

For me the absolute STAR if the show, a TAD more than Rajat, was Ashwini. Ekts can NEVER EVER be faulted for her casting!!! 👏

Jodha- Well, if I had a daughter like her, I would've put her up for adoption.. And that says it ALL!!! 😡

Her silken evil whispers & silence was a 50 times more spooky than all of serial Maham's eye glaring & evil schemes. 😆😆

Loved the last scene between the too. Loved jalal's expression and maham's care towards jalal and her motherly love to c that her son is alive.
It was a beautiful scene that can't be expressed in words and all the credit goes to the hero's of yesterday epi ( jala and Maham) 👏
