This is the only track which made us give so many speculations and predictions. Every one predicted and we had long brain storming for the entire time till yesterday. Our brain might be aching. Cvs should not give such nightmare at least please where ja looked bad.

I hope cvs show more important phases of akbars life including harem, war, politics etc. Also give strong akdha romance and NO LONG LEAP PLEASE

I strongly disagree...the Atifa track was in place thru out. ..There were enough clues right thru out. From the very first scene... ..what changed was the anti climatic closure of this track in a rushed way on account of massive scale chest beating of viewers who either failed to comprehend the concept of the track, or who were so disgusted with the tracks of the recent past that they were unwilling to believe in anything but the worst...

Well said. I would like to add another point to the list since it meshes well with it.

8. At least give history a chance, there are so many interesting historical incidents in Akbar's life, I would want these to be exhausted first before obscure or imaginary ones like Khaiber or Ateefa are shown.

One good example is that story of Sati and Akbar, that I had posted a few months back. It will make a wonderful track and it is all historical.

Hey, can you quote that post here for me.. I'd like to read 😊

i want to see a strong n power MALE villain . Fed up from female villains n their ghatiya sazishe 🤢

if they want they can show that villain any rajwanshi raja waja or jodha' long lost admirer 😆 but he shld not be like chepu in any ways. he shld be strong n determine . if we get a powerful male negative character it will give jalal more chances to show his heropanti ☺️

After the Atgah and Adham death scenes, I want history to be followed. One of the servants of Maham made the most serious assassination attempt ever on Akbar. He was shot with an arrow, probably poisoned, and Akbar nearly died of the wound.

When Akbar regained consciousness after a few tense days, he ordered the assassin to be put to death but no further investigation to be made, most likely because he already knew that Maham was behind it all.

Your wish is my command. Here it is-

I found this on the internet. I found the story fascinating so I am starting a new thread so that more people get a chance to read it-

The Mughal Emperor Akbar seems to have promoted (without much success it would seem) widow remarriage amongst hindus.

But it was in the case of Sati that his measures actually ended up reforming Hinduism.
He was quite disgusted with the whole concept of Sati as is evident by one of Abul Fazl's quotation of Akbar on this subject in the Ain-i-Akbari. He had an earnest desire to put a total, unconditional ban on Sati. Unfortunately, many of the prominent Hindus at the time opposed an unconditional ban on Sati, and so Akbar had to drop the idea since he did want to take any such step without evolving a general consensus on the issue.
On the question of Forcible Sati, however, he put his foot down. Forcible Sati was banned throughout the Mughal Empire.
It is a historical fact that on at least one occasion, the Emperor Akbar was obliged to stop a case of forcible sati through his personal intervention. The facts are as follows:
Once, Akbar heard that a lady of a royal Rajput family whose husband had just died was being forced to commit Sati. As soon as he heard this news, he immediately climbed on his horse and rode to the house of the concerned Rajput family *by himself, all alone*. [His personal security guard, when they heard the emperor had gone off all on his own, galloped after him.]
He arrived at the house just in time to stop the Sati taking place; already the woman was being led out of the house for the Sati site (after having been drugged). By his sheer force of personality(he was all alone) he was able to stop the sati from taking place.
[This particular incident, of Akbar stopping the forcible Sati, is described in detail in V.A. Smith's book, 'Akbar the Great Mughal']
In book 3 of Abul Fazl's Ain-i-Akbari (chapter titled 'Happy Sayings of his Majesty'), the greatest of all the Mughal Emperors, and one of the greatest Emperors of India and indeed the world is recorded as saying:
"It is a strange comment on the magnanimity of men that they should seek their deliverance through the self sacrifice of their wives."
Credit for abolition of sati rightly goes to Raja Ram Mohan Roy who did a lot of work in raising awareness about this social evil, but his predecessor in this matter was the great mughal emperor Akbar who was to my knowledge the first Indian emperor to have officially banned forcible sati in his empire, thus contributing to the fight against for women emancipation.

I was promised EPIC LOVE story of Jodha and Akbar and this is what I want the theme to remain.

I do NOT want to watch any leap. Please do not deprive us of some fantastic historical events due to some silly reason like leap!

Contrary to what most opinions here will be - I do NOT want to watch Akbar the Great. I do not want ONLY Akbar centric story. I feel history deprived Jodha of her rightful place and it should not be done here too by constant refrain of some how "16th Century woman" should behave. Real Akbar was a man far ahead of his times and so was Jodha.

I would love to watch lot more political stuff and historical events maybe depicted in NR manner but please less fiction!

I am interested in watching "human side of Akbar and Jodha".
Example the releasing of coins, we GOT why it meant so much to both Akbar and Jodha, why it was such a big deal only cos of the background to it and why Jodha felt so proud about it.

I wish if they want to incorporate bit silly tracks atleast do it by alternating with historical tracks.

I want lot more positivity and atleast some happy episodes. CVs do not even bother to give 2-3 good episodes before they bring in negativity.

Less obsession with vamps and villains and more care for leads characters.

I want ROYALTY and dignity and leads characters handled with care.
Hopefully no butchering of one lead for another but NO I do not want ONLY Akbar centric serial with Jodha only as his support. She was a much accomplished woman and I do want to watch tracks on her too.
I would love if they alternate tracks prominent on Jodha and Jalal alternatively.
If this track gets good TRPs so did Mirchi war.
The depiction of Jalal in that was poor but they could have shown him not captured and fighting elsewhere and haram attacked too!

I watch JA to watch Jodha AND Akbar - NOT Akbar the Great!

Also MOST important please show more sensitivity towards depicting women. Pregnant Jodha mistreated, men come to rape haram women and the perpetrator easily pardoned, public insults of women - just hate to watch.

For track ideas - best person to give advice is Abhay!

well said Maddy and I totally totally agree with you.

My wish list.

1. Strong Jalal and Jodha
2. Too tired of watching all these negative tracks. Please focus more on Positivity..
3. Would love to see human side of Akbar and Jodha
4. Would love to see historical incidents of Akbar
5. Jodha and Salima begums growth towards Administration
6. No complaints about romantic scenes. I am happy with what I see and I just love Parijat as leads and do not want anyone to replace either of them..Cannot accept anyone else..
7. I watch this show for both Jodha and Akbar. So both needs to be given prominence and not just Akbar or Jodha alone.
8. Abhay can definitely suggest good tracks
9. Not Interested in SA track at all...

Ok.. Hereon I wish to see the following:

1. Bakshi delivering her baby. It's high time she delivered. And she should repent for being rude to Jo and be an adorable nannad like she was before.
2. Jalal and Todarmal should disguise and night out often to monitor state affairs.

3. Some progression in Jalal salima's relation should be shown. According to history, they had a daughter, right? Ok, ok girls, I get your killer stares. 😆

4. More D-E-K scenes depicting judicious side of Akbar. When was the last time he attended awaam's cases??

Will keep adding to the list..
