An argument can be made that the episode was rushed because the CV's wanted to close the track in a hurry but whether yesterday's episode was rushed or not is not the moot point. I believe what matters is the dramatic effect it had on viewers and how it resurrected the image of a hero we had all given up our hopes on.

We, who had access to spoilers were not so taken in, but imagine 90% of viewers who did not have this knowledge. They see Jalal at his worst behavior possible, he insults his father like Atgah Khan, then forces a Qazi at sword point to marry him to the one woman whom all hate. The disgust that viewers felt for Jalal's behavior must have been at an all time high.

And then suddenly he turns the tables, he reveals his identity like a 70's hero, defeats the bad guys, and let's Maham know how all her clever plans have failed. Just like that, he turns from a reviled villain to a hero, and not only that, he gets his mojo back, his tedapan.

That was the magic of yesterday's episode and that is why I liked it, rushed or not.

Regarding the new promo about Atgah,s death, sad but if I am not mistaken, it is after Atgah's and Adham's death that a servant of Maham makes the most deadly assassination attempt on Akbar, with a bow, and nearly kills him. Maybe Abhay will pinpoint the exact date.

I wonder if they will show it before the leap.
