In the last scene, he has just seen Khaiber save Jodha's life and return his amanat back to him and also see someone he viewed as inhuman, show a human weakness like suicide. He is bound to be shaken.

I cannot understand the sympathy that people seems to have for Jalal's reaction. Maybe I think differently or maybe it's a man thing, but I don't think I have seen a more infuriating piece of acting in a long time.

Imagine, instead of this Ape like Khaiber, a psychopath of limited intelligence had abducted Jalal's wife. Suppose, he catches up to this psychopath after a few days.

Then when he sees this psychopath commit suicide on front of his eyes, is the man going to have noble thoughts of wonder at the supposed normal weakness of self destruction that this psychopath has, or would that man be consumed by hatred and anger at that moment that he would not care.

By that logic, Sujamal also should have been torn to pieces on being found in Jo's bedroom...but he wasn't. ..

Ah... by that logic Jodha shd have been asked for Agnipariksha when she left Agra after the Sujamal fiasco and wandered all over the place living alone in Mathura and other places before she went to Amer with BM... but she wasn't...

Absolutely, but Surjamal did not abduct his beloved wife. There are certain crimes for which there is no mercy. You don't forgive someone who could conceivably have done a lot of bad things to your pregnant wife. And maybe he had done it, how was Jalal to know at that moment?

😆 Is it really so difficult to understand this, I wonder...neither did he expect Khaiber to save Jo, nor did he expect him to commit suicide...the latter seemed to be the more shocking matter...

Oh...but is not the same law for similar crimes to be applied without distinction 😲 - and here the law for a man entering the Emperor's harem is the same as kidnapping his Queen - so how come these dbl standards?!?!?! 😕

Obviously by Jo's reaction...would Jo still be saying , " Khaiber, Ruko. .." to Khaiber if he had done all these bad bad things to her????

Also becoz Jodha is still alive - which she would not be if she had been violated - and pregnancy would have made no difference to her in that situation.

Yes there are double standards here. You tear apart Khaibar first and then think about others later.

There are historical records to show that that Akbar was much more lenient with his relatives than justice would have warranted. If justice was everything, Adham Khan would have been put to death for the orgy of death and destruction he unleashed in Malwa.

Similarly, Mirza would have met his maker much earlier than was just. And what about Maham, she made an assassination attempt on Akbar with her slave and yet he forgive her.

Clearly Akbar had different standards of justice for relatives.
