I appreciate ur views. I agree, in ancient times women used to be given war training. Even if the other begums of Jalal have never been shown doing sword fighting, we have to assume that they know it. And even if they don't know, when enemy attack you have to fight to protect urself whether u know fighting or not.
BUT..BUT..BUT...WE CAN'T DENY that all this shows Akbar as a
WEEK emperor. Its foolish that an emperor is not ready for war & his begums are convincing him. Its more foolish that the soul of Akbar is saying to the soul of MUZ that had he known abt her pregnancy, he would have never gone to the war. My dear Shehenshah ur wife & ur child will be safe only when ur saltanat is safe. Being concerned abt ur pregnant wife is natural but no emperor will avoid the war if the enemy has attacked, even when ur wife is pregnant.
Now lets move to the promo. There is no harm if women are being shown as brave & strong but there's no need to show men as weak, especially when the man is a great personality like Akbar who is termed as a great warrior in the history. But actually its not the Makers' fault completely. The majority of TRPs audience would never like the war of Akbar, but it will love the Mirchi War of women(I m not talking abt the minority group who wants to see logic & intelligence). Since they have the disclaimer, they have the right to show anything, even to twist the history(I don't believe there was a war b/w Akbar & MCB where MH was against his mother). Waise it would look very interesting on screen but they have made this show so much female centric that we are irritated now. Otherwise we would love this track. The story of Akbar the great can't be shown purely as female centric...fine its a love story & u have to show both the characters but watch the movie, there Jodha was shown having influence on Akbar but she was never shown doing those things which Akbar was supposed to do. So decent way to show a love story! Here in the show they have already shown Jodha as having many hunars but why to show Akbar as weak to make Jodha look strong?
But in the end I would say that whatever they are showing it suits to the situation of this track. The emperor already had less soldier than his enemy's & is captured by the enemy now. So its enough to make his army's morale down. And when the enemy attack the harem the females had no choice but to fight. I just hope they don't show his rescue by his pregnant wife.BTW, I also very eager to watch the Mirchi War but the CVs have to save Akbar's image in my eyes.
