I like your analysis, you bring the simmering emotions of the episode through your words. A really good episode. I liked it. It seems as if the makers of the serial are getting their mojo back. A string of good episodes.

This episode resounded so much with me because it set the stage in delineating how serious the situation was. I remembered a similar chapter from history, Dara Shikon facing Aurangzeb. Dara had the support of his father Shah Jahan, and many other kings had pledged support to him. The troops were dispersed however, they could not reach him in time and Dara had to face Aurangzeb with a much weakened army. Dara lost the battle and not only did he lose his life but his family was massacred in the aftermath of the battle.

The Jodha Akbar scenes today were emotional, and I was reminded that such a tearful meeting between husband and wife , in the night leading to a major battle may have happened in real.

From the spoiler pics, it is evident that Jodha will be involved in some kind of fighting. There is another promo of Akbar in chains, I don't know what to make of it because I don't know the context.

The fall in TRP's was a wake up call for the Production House, improvements were made and they are evident in the past few episodes. However, some of the shots were taken before the TRP situation, so some inconsistencies in the depiction of the characters or the storyline is to be expected and will have to be borne.

By the way, the name of the place is Kalanaur in Gurdaspur district.

I loved your writeup as much I loved yesterdays episode. As I always said when the episodes are good your write up also always touches the heart. And this post of yours also touched my heart. Yesterdays episode was ont he eve of the war.. It was an emotional Jalal ..with sentiments overflowing.. and Jodha as always was his emotional anchor.. giving him the unconditional love and support..

I loved all the three Jalal-Jodha scenes but the last one really was overwhelming and so full of emotions that it brought tears t our eyes.. Rajat and Pari were so superlative in that scenes..

I am not so sure of Ruks beahvior thouh overtly it seems she has changed and finally accepted or come to terms with Jodha-Jalal- relationship and is content with her BEK audha intact, I still dont understand her need to go to Jalal and tell him to spend night with Jo.. He would have gone anyways even if Ruks had not told him to do so.. Yeah but it is nice to see some positivity in Ruks behavior though I know its going to be short-lived . Shes just being goody-goody to show that she is indeed the BEK..and has to behave like one.. But good to see her in this avtaar!!

But what I felt was that CVS should not have shown Jalal this weak and unprepared for the war..He is a warrior and he should motivate his army and if he himself is so demotivated how will his army win?? Look at Abul Mali--his speech to his army was quiet inspiring...though we dont like to see this...

We understand that Jalal is emotionally drained out becoz of his sisters and his MC's betrayal but as a King he needs to be tough ... na.. Anyways but I have no complaints ..just my thoughts.. I just l;loved the last scene and the lullaby was so so sweet.. Jodha is really becoming his emotional anchor.. How cute it was to see that he only finds peace in her arms .. New promo is scary though we know the outcome beforehand.. but I guess lots of high drama.. next week..

Yesterday its a lovely episode with different rays of emotions..Loved Ruklal scene...Rukaiya really surprised us with her dignified way in understanding things hardly..I saw a new dimension of ruku's behaviour, more than her audha, she tried to get human emotions...But I can't go with her only after learning Jo pregnancy she will be to square one..

Cv's hinted next track including Shariff more dangerous than anyone...may be BB troubling JJ.. I m excited now back on their race.. 😛

Loved JJ looks extremely cute, adorable yet emotional.! ❤️

Well for Ruku,I am totally confused.She took a U turn today.May be due to fear of losing everything and even life for that matter,she has decided to be good on parting note.

But did you see the irony,few days back ,Ruku had to deliberately show the preg symptoms and today Jo was deliberately hiding them.What Ruku did was to win Shehenshah back and Jo is doing is to let her Shehenshah win.

As per the new promo,what I feel is that unconscious and seriously wounded Shehenshah will be brought and all the efforts will be made to regain his consciousness and finally Jo says,"Aapko hamare honewale bacche ki Kasam ,aankhen kholiye." These words will reach his soul and he will get strength and willpower to come back to life.What I have written here is,what we mostly see on silver screen.Mostly ,in earlier films we saw such drama.Now what drama,cvs want to show is mystery

Among all those beautiful Akdha moments and magnanimous gesture of ruqqaiya did everyone miss the fact that yesterday even bakshi seemed a traitor. At,east thats what I felt. I found her more of a traitor than dumb. Here her husband is telling her how he wishes and wants her to be the next MUZ and their son to sit on the throne and she agrees with him that too at a time when her brother is fighting for his life. Shouldn't she have told him to not have such negative thoughts on the eve of battle and just pray n wish that her brother and his family is safe instead of dreaming abt taking over the throne. Y do i feel that somewhere in her jealousy of jodha n blind fear of losing her husband she has stopped to feel for jalal too.

Now shariff is dreaming that his son would be shahenshah!😆And he is also washing bhakshi's brain(i personally feel she doesnt have one!😆) saying that she would be MUZ! So will bhaksi try to bring about jo's miscarriage? She may not do it by herself but she may do that on Shariff's instigation! Even if she tries i am damn sure that she will fail!😃

I donno mansi, i honestly didnt like Jalal panicing and crying saying that he didnt have a strong army and cannot face enemies!🥱 It looked like he had lost all his confidence! He should have regained it atleast when Jodha consoled him! Fine! I hope he musters up some confidence atleast before the war!

The last JJ scene was really good! ❤️ Specially when jodha touched her belly and told that!😳

Just read on another thread that someone called zee n they said that akbar will be close to death and to revive him jodha will tell him that he has to survive for the sake of his child n tell him abt her pregnancy. They also said that they received a lot of complains reg akbar being too senti n soft n plan to change that but since they have already shot for some episodes they will bring the change gradually.

I did not get the feeling that Jalal was panicking or crying about his weak army. It is only correct for him to be realistic about his resources. In fact knowing his army is not as beefy as he would like it to be, I am sure he will personally fight harder. And I perefr seeing his wonderful fighting moves than the dandiya of his sipahis!
