Great. Take Mansi! I have my doubts on Ruq. She might revert back to her old self. I do not want the harem to go free Jalal. I know this won't happen but still I want Jalal to handle Mali on his own.

Maybe that's why Ruq and Salima were shown in pics in warrior attire. They may go to free Jalal from Abul Mali and Nigar. 😆

Lyra, will pm u abt something mysterious 😉

Hi Mansi,
Lovely writeup! Esp the analysis of Ruq. Honestly, this angle didn't strike me. I just felt so sorry for Ruq at that point and also when she tells Jodha to rest. Though, in the latter scene, the way she suggests that a sick Jodha will be distracting for Jalal on the eve of the war, it's doubtful whether she was really concerned for Jodha or didn't want a sick Jodha hogging all the attention. 😆

The last scene was extremely touching and perhaps the MOST BEAUTIFUL scene in a really LONG TIME.

I agree a weak Jalal will have more opportunity to show his hero-giri and allow Jo more opportunity to show her prowess and that he is only human and all that. Still I am not happy with his present portrayal.

Yes, he is human and knows his position is less than desirable. But, he is not new to warfare and he must have fought similarly placed wars earlier. Agreed he is now in touch with his "dil" and all the sentimentality it brings along with it. I can understand his thoughtfulness and his worry whether he will be able to win the war. I can even understand his concern for his close ones esp because he has had to bring them along to the battlefield for the sake of their security. Even his seeking solace in the company of Jo is realistic and touching.

But there is a difference between a worried but courageous king and a worried and scared king. I find Jalal shedding silent tears in solitude a bit too much to digest. He is not behaving like a war veteran but like a medieval age romantic knight.

Anyway these are my personal views and the CVs have their own reasons for showing characters the way they do.

Somehow I have a feeling that amidst all the battle tension, Jo will lose her baby, may be when she is trying to save Jalal or when she is fighting alongside him when he is on the verge of losing. And only then will Jalal come to know she was preg. And when the war ends, Jalal will shed more bucketfuls of tears for the baby that wasn't meant to be and how Jo had to sacrifice their waaris for the sake of saving the sultanat from MC and co. 😕

Radhika! Welcome back!🤗
Great write up!😃
Why do you feel that jo will suffer a miscarriage? According to history, she gave birth to twins right? I hope they follow history!
We got some offscreen pics of jodha in mughul attire and all other begums in new dresses! I guess we have a jashn coming up! I mean, thats what we can infer on seeing mughul begums in new dresses!😆 That jashn may be for jodha's godh bharai?😕

Radhika, someone here has said that the Zee man has confirmed over phone that the Creatives have noted the public displeasure with a weak and crying Jalal and are rectifying his characterisation for future tracks. I don't think Jodha will lose her bay, however as that will be too much of a repeat of old tracks. The new montage suggests happy times ahead, so I am optimistic.

nice analysis😊
Thnx mansi for ur Breaking news regarding new Promo
I got a bit relief after reading that...but I read in another thread that someone called Zee and said that zee man told her that Jo will reveal her pregnancy news in jalal's ears to wake him up who is about to die...
if this is true then its bit disappointing as jalal needs someone to make him realise he has his begums n all??? can't he himself get up to save his people😔

Mansi, I am posting this view here which may disturb your thread (peaceful). 😉
Guys don't take me wrong for writing this which 99.99% of the people frequent this thread may not like and feel disgusted to even read this but I felt I should write this whether people applaud or reject the content in my post. So no hard feelings even if you people are not happy to read this but still hope you may. And I assure you I don't feel bad or hurt even if you people trash me for writing this.

Since each and every one on the forum has written the level of love and support Hamida & Jodha showered on Jalal and he was overwhelmed with their love. I have loved those moments myself so I whole heartedly agree with you all in appreciating Hamida and Jodha for walking up to Jalal when he was distressed due to the sudden uncalled war by his sister and mother.

So for a change I am dedicating my views to the one person who put in her everything in the gamble here and still not halfhearted nod from all. If you have guessed it, yes it is Ruqayya on whom I am going to write.

This is not the first time Ruqu had seen her husband going to war and for that matter she had a full-fledged experience of war and aftermaths of war since her childhood as she was born in such a crucial time when her father was mostly engaged in wars along with Jalal's father Humayun. So she is very well aware war can make or break an kingdom and this time she even is aware of the fact that the army with whose support Jalal is going to fight the well prepared Mahachuchak's army as whatever army Jalal has at the moment is the bare minimal which can withhold the enemy from entering the Agra fort that means, just sufficient to stall the enemy from entering the fort easily. The reminder of his army has been moved out to either fight wars on some petty trouble mongers or in search of Chand Begum. The moment Jalal decided to take the harem with him to the war field, she was sure of the risk involved to each and every soldier and that doesn't spare either Jalal or Atgah Khan or Todarmal. So even when she asked the other Begums to pack their luggage all she said is those who want to be with Jalal should pack and those who want to live a secure and easy life can stay back and enjoy their beds. It was like "be prepared for the eventualities, it could be either victory or death but decide to stay with your husband at this crucial moment to support him morally". Let him fight the war with a peace of mind. Let him not worry about the safety of the ladies he had left behind and with that let his hands doesn't shiver. Let his concentration doesn't alter. I could see the determined wife who wishes that "come what may, I will ensure the already disturbed Jalal is not more disturbed with any other issues from his harem and makes his already wobbling mind to wobble more"

When Ruqu spot Jodha feeling nauseous and uneasy, she just rushed to her with genuine concern and advised her that she must not have used to this rough weather and long journeys. She asked her to rest and take care of her and also gave a hint that Jalal will not be at peace even if one of his Begum is not well and we cannot afford that pleasure now as the war is at the threshold and coming Dawn the King has to leave for the war and he needs to be in peace to fight firmly. Then she left the Jodha perplexed with this gesture and wonder whether what she saw was true or not.

Later at the midnight we saw her approach the absent minded Jalal sharpening his sword rigorously and the ever alert Jalal could not even notice her presence till such time she called him. She asked him to rest for a while as he need as his body needs to be fresh and he should have a peace of mind when he start for his war but Jalal was in his own world and in his own web of thoughts that he just said, yes he will after a while. And guys that were the specific scene we had with Himself and Jodha when he was engrossed in his own thoughts about the place and didn't realize Jodha's presence till she placed her hand on his shoulder. She (Ruqu) could sense his aloofness and inner turmoil as he has to go war against his own blood and whether he win or lose, the loss will be for him alone. If he wins, he might have to kills his own people and that loss will always leave a void in his soul that to retain his post he had to kill sibling. If he loose, that means his death and with that he will leave his entire sultanate in the hands of greedy people who may massacre his dear land and his subjects and the worst affected will be his wives and his mother. His mother will be in captivity and his wives will have to bear the brutal treatments of the enemy and they may lose their modesty and even life. He cannot even think positive like OK that will be a short phase till his successor (his son) will grow old enough to claim the throne as he doesn't even have that luxury as none of his begums are fruitful at the moment. So she thought it would be better act as positive conductor and boost energy with some proper rest and at the same time, he needs to rejuvenate his morality. That can only happen if he gets a good companion to spend that night and who would be better than Jodha Begum who looked all flourished alike a freshly blossomed flower with dewdrops covered to showcase its beauty to attract the butterfly to spread its pollen. Yes Ruqu was very well aware of the fact that she can never ever be fruitful in life so to continue the legacy of Jalal, it would be better for him to spend his night before the war with Jodha. That was the precise reason Jalal told her that he can understand how difficult it can be for a wife to ask her husband to spend night with the other wife. And she didn't deny that and accepted it with grace and said yes, it is very difficult and hurts but she is a queen as well. Guys I just could not buy her word that along with being a wife, I am the queen first. No guys, it was not to show her priority as a queen but to make it easy for Jalal to go to Jodha and leave him with guilt free, she used those words. She was bracing herself for all they eventualities as the current was not a smaller one which never taxed Jalal more but this is from his own people who have revolted against him and declared to kill him for the taqth.

Yesterday when Hamida talked to Jalal, we appreciated her Gesture and applauded her for being royal queen, fit to be the perfect mother to the Badshah and she knew she had to talk to the shehenshah and not to her son, so that Jalal can make up his mind to accept the war invitation and give them back with proper action. And today, if Ruqu says the same, why do we feel she is behind her position? If Jodha goes to Jalal, we call it out of love and if Ruqu goes to him we say, she had to go to him otherwise he had neglected her. If Jodha says it is time for his rest, that is with love but Ruqu said the same, she acted as a queen and not as a wife.

Anyways, I don't know how much sense I have made here but I just felt proud of Ruquyya yesterday and thought I will post the same here.
