absolutely outstanding sandhya👏👏..jahan jalal wahan hum😛...i agree word for word...akbar was one of those rare beings who realized that he will not be able to win over people just by winning grounds, he has to be a part of them to make his country that he won, a prosperous one!..his tolerance towards other religions and to win the hearts of people of all religions by going against his own people must not have been a piece of cake..only a visionary can do that and he did it!

Rajat has given more than is required for the role, he could have cut corners and no one could have noticed but instead he went beyond the character portrayal and lived it to the extent where we could not differentiate between jalal and rajat..to me they are one! they both started young and they both are dedicated and eager learners and never stop but keep moving...i will be looking forward to this rajat's jalal in upcoming episodes and cherishing his acting skills and his portrayal as akbar!

Wonderfully written, Sandhya 👏 . You ve summarised thoroughly Jalal s transition to Akbar . And Rajat as Jalal has beautifully brought out this journey for us. I started seeing it for Rajat s fab portrayal of Jalal ( haven't seen any of his shows before except for a few epis of Tere liye) & am still sticking to the show for the now rare flashes of Jalal s brilliance 😉 . The makers have to be thanked for some of their superb cast selection if nothing else 😛 .

Fab Sandhya. I never liked RT and was so hesitant to watch this show as he was the lead, but after watching him as Jalal, I cannot imagine anyone else enacting this role, he is the perfect choice and love him as Jalal. Really applaud EKta for her casting capabilities.

When JA promo starts even though I liked the promos, I thought it's EKTA show + historical + with new comers it would be boring only why waste my time. I didn't know Rajat before the show. I didn't watch the beginning episode, I just started watching the serial SHAADI SAPTAH special .. I liked JO character...

I am a Hrithik fan, so first I didn't liked Rajat & thought he is short & how can he suit Akbar and continued watching it for JO character. With each passing tracks I liked Rajat who gave minute super expressions, dialogue delivery, body language, from love, anger, jealous, sad, crying ( i have never seen a male actor so convincing in crying scenes specially) each & every expression is wonderful..

I can now say he is the BEST AKBAR (JALLAL) even much much better than HRITHIK and can say NO ACTOR could do the justice to the character as Rajat did... Hats of to Rajat for giving us pleasure to watch such a splendid performance, believing us that HE IS OUR AKBAR.

agree wid ur pts... d journey from a heartless warrior to a compassionate, visionary king was truly remarkable⭐️... i too think dat he always had d potential 🤔... it was mostly d circumstances along wid a considerable bit of jodha which later on guided his potential in d direction of welfare of his people!! dis serial may have irritated us to d extent of pulling our hairs sometimes😆, but it has also provided life 2 d great emperor emblazoned in textbooks!!...

of course d credit goes 2 RT 👏as much as d CVs (if not more)... he is really living d character!!... now when i read abt akbar den his face comes in mind😛 ( hritik is forgotten by me)... infact almost all d casts r doing deir job well... so kudos 2 CVs 4 d transformation, Ekta maiyya 4 d great casting nd RT 4 bringing d character alive!!👏👏

i was never game 4 serials, didnt plan on watching dis onetoo but even after 1 yr, nd some illogical tracks... here i am at 7:50 sharp waiting 4 it!!🤪😊

Wonderful write up. So nice to see you back in action with this nostalgic post. After the Akbar naming episode, the last 2 episodes have been dreary, a full stop to the romance and a ridiculously over the top new villain.
