I joined very recently from Feb onwards but then I went and downloaded all the episodes and still doing and have all of them with me. similarly love to see Jodha how she also changed and from Nafrat slowly moved on to love her Jallad and subsequently teda SH(Akbar). Jodha though adamant I always felt she was honest in both hate and love.

Thanks sunram. Rajat/Jalal The character and actor are a treat. Jodha too was very honest and admirable in hate and love. But I only wish she had been more reasonable during the transition.😊

Nice writeup Sandhya...What a post to return to the forum..!!!!!!!..👍🏼
A FINE sum up of the events since the last one year, Jalal has become Akbar.
You made me remember why i fell in LOVE with this Show, at the first place.!!!.
I watch this as i ADORE the Real Ones.. A big thanks to all those who made this show possible, 'coz had the show not been there, none of us, would be here today.

I'd like to share some thing. [ Please note that now onwards i am writing about the REAL ONES not the REEL ONES...>> , in context of this Love Story.. Not singularly about Akbar only. ]

Knew about Akbar since school days. Reading history, was always a hobby, be it World or Indian, Ancient or Medieval, despite being from a different BG. But, what drove me so close to knowing about Akbar was >> the protests rocking this show.!!!!!!.. I somehow could NOT digest that this story is a FICTION . And, hence began the tryst with Akbar and, of course, his Wife. The Belief was ALWAYS there, but GOT Solidified SLowly, and the hobby turned into a passion.

There is NO need to praise him (have already done so in the history posts)😉. The name says it ALL >>> " AKBAR " .

No wonder, he is ONE OF THE greatest rulers, the world knows, and No doubt the World will remember THEM till the time we've " Noor of Aftaab " gracing us here, no matter how much Alteration is Done.!!. As, the Universe, takes care of what to HIDE and WHAT to preserve for posterity.!!!!. 😊.

Thanks a lot Abhay. Reading about Akbar is more than a hobby to me. But am not yet at the passion level as you are.😊 And I must thank the forum for finding me another Akbar-loving friend.⭐️ Yes the name says it all - AKBAR. ⭐️

Sandhya..beautiful write up...👏

this show took us into the personal space of Jalal and from there his journey to being Akbar..yes loads of glitches but yet we got to see the mighty and great Emperor on our screen in his splendid glory and why after 400 years we still remember him and his era

i have hardly seen any work of RT before..just few episodes of PRC ...the first promo of JA itself he drew me making me wait for the show to start...and from day one the he has never disappointed me...Ek does have an eye for talent...her choice of Jalal was perfect...and he is an actor who rises above the script always and that makes it difficult to remember that he is not the Akbar but an actor ..

Thanks Sunny, for the appreciation and for your vishesh tippanis.
Rajat and Akbar are the one and the same to me. He is the face of Akbar. I wonder how I will watch Rajat in another role after JA wraps up without a sense of Akbar's ghost around him.😒

On 3rd July, 1555, Akbar was sent to recapture the Panjab with BK by Humayun from Sikandar, who had captured Panjab from the (in)famous Abul Mali (yes the very same that we see now as trying to kill Akbar, was once a noble in Humayun's court, who fell out of favor with young Akbar due to his bad character - and this happened when Akbar was 13), - at the age of 13 Akbar was playing 'war', while Humayun stayed back at Dilhi - and died within 7 months in January 1556!!!!

This was the early life of Akbar - raised as a warrior - yet having a seeker's soul - that was always seeking the 'Truth' - Infact the journey was always that of 'From a warrior to a seeker' - which is the journey of 'Love' / 'Ishq'.

What Akbar evolved into, was a philosopher - ruler, who followed rationalism and the path of reason - 'rah-i 'aql' - even as his world view identified with 'sulh-i kul' - Universal Peace - to the extent that when he realised his hostility to Islam went contrary to his belief of sulh-i kul, thus negating it, he corrected himself and followed his policy of Sulh-i Kul towards all religions.

This was Akbar the Emperor, who was so multi-talented and had such a passion for life, that he only slept for 3 hours in a day, wanting to utilize every available moment to learn, to grow, to evolve and thus to Live.

Coming to Rajat and his Jalal - I will always thank EK for this one casting coup - She casted Akbar perfectly - Rajat has managed that extremely rare projection of a historical character, where his face, his mannerisms, his personality - all have meshed and merged with that of the character so completely that each has become the other's identity - Kudos to Rajat for such a brilliant performance - He is not 'Good' He is 'Great' - and to be able to do this at the age of 22 is commendable.

Agree word to word in toto Adi. Your dear Me.Kayanat has blessed Ekta choose a great actor for the role of a great personality so perfectly.

well honestly its rajat made jalal/akbar so big in the small screen. even when the scripting is not to the mark, he is the one who keeps me glued to this character. the way rajat played this character is just amazing. his expressions, dialogue delivery, voice modulation & improvisations r really treat to watch. 👏
