To answer your question of how come Humayun married this Chuchak. She need not have been so all her life. She could have been any of the khaas begums, but, lost her mind somewhere down the road, when she could have been ignored like any polygamist husband. Especially, even historically I think, she wanted to usurp all for the sake of securing her son Mirza. It was more of ego clash, as Jalal was enjoying the riches (India at that time was a highest GDP grosser, 3 times more richer than Queen Elizabeth 1 of England at that time. Thats why, there were western travellers intrigued by this.) I think it was more of foster mother or son syndrome at that time which is prevalent even today.

Okay before you toot padofy on the episode.. I'm going to rant and rave a bit about Jalal's handsomeness today.. OMG.. as he sat on that armchair in his own thoughts before Jodha came... he looked out of this world.. a special Tejas on his face.. almost like he'd braced himself for the 1 year anniversary (only when he spoke did I realize he has a cold - how many colds does this guy get!)

(1) Jodha coming to share her pride on Jalal's achievements ... My favorite part of this scene was Jodha's impatience and excitement to meet Jalal alone and speak to him ... She did not even say the usual Pranam Shehenshah ... She just couldn't wait. 😳

And she hugged him - he was pleasantly surprised... watch her expressions and then his.. what a treat that scene was!

Love how she recognized his greatness as a leader and in unifying the country ... 👏

He tried to return the praise to her but she didn't accept it ... So, teda Jalal thought he might as well take advantage of the situation and asked for the gift of hearing his name. 😉

Thank God! Their love-banter was so cute... 😳

He continued to persist saying if a pati is not a "Shehenshah" what would Rajvanshi wives call their husbands ... Jodha didn't answer but I could imagine Jodha one day saying "aji sunte ho", "Salim ke papa" and had a good laugh. 😆

Jodha gave up and gave him the next best gift- a hug. 😳

(2) Jodha the student: Loved Jodha in her student avatar ... Trying to learn Urdu. Ever since her return to Agra, she has not only fully accepted Jalal but is now learning and accepting the tehzeeb of her in-laws. And it continued with language today. ⭐️

It was cute how she tried to give hints to Zakira on how she wanted to learn to write Akbar ... Of course, it was so obvious, Zakira got the hint and taught her. 😉

I know... also is it me? Or does Zakira seem like a much more dignified baandhi/maid whatever when compared to Mothi ...maybe because the actress is a more seasoned one!

Now, I know why they freed Zakira ... To read and teach Urdu ... First, the letter on Chaand Begum and now this 😆

😆 Oh yeah!

And of course, the icing on the cake, was the "Ishq hai ehsaas" while she wrote his name ... After leps, this is the new form of showing love it seems. 😆

I prefer this (for now, at least!😆)

(3) Hamida and Jalal bonding scene: Loved to see Hamida Bano appreciating Jalal's achievements and sharing her dream when she held him as son. 👏

Jalal was an shone as a son in the scene as he said I will always be Jalal for you and how he cannot even see tears of happiness in her eyes.

I know.. its the first time we're seeing him wipe her tears.. hai na? Btw, did I mention how handsome Jalal looked in this scene or did I not? 🤔

And I liked how he gave credit to all those around him in front of his Mother. ⭐️

I also liked Hamida Bano's understanding smile when Jodha arrived ... So we could get the next cute scene ... 😉

Best compliment he paid her - my morning's just turned a few notches better after having seen your face

(4) Teda Jalal hears his name from Jodha: Loved teda Jalal in this scene , when he feigned ignorance on what Jodha wrote and finally got his name out. I loved a few things in this scene:

- Jalal referring to how Jodha used to say his name when she hated him

I know... I was laughing out loud! 😆

And did he look handsome or what?

- The smile on his face when he turned his back to Jodha and came up with his trcik to get her to say her name of not knowing what she had written 😉

- His happiness at hearing his name

😆

That is why I always say "teda hai par mera hai" is the perfect tag line for Jalal. 😆

The thing I loved best was he shifted the praise and name Akbar to the fact that now he wanted to work harder ... Interestingly, Chaand Begum was his top priority.

(5) Woh hazeen waadiya , woh barfila paahad ... In case you were suffering from a dosage of over sweetness in the episode (which I actually enjoyed) we had a big dose of mirchi in the form of Mahachuchak ... I will celebrate her entry but I did think it was OTT and grotesque. I guess we now have a new "haivan" on the show. 😉

I just skipped it Divi.. 😕

I just can't believe how Humayan chose to marry her ... I wonder what she was like in her younger days. 😉

😆 Maybe he went through a 'I'm discovering my wild side' phase 🤣

And what I can't believe even more is that Hakim Mirza is her son , who is a love guru, forgives Shivani as easy as can be, and carries love messages between Jodha and Jalal as per the precap. 😆

Paalan posan mein kuch gadbad ho gayee kyaa? I mean from what angle does the junglee MC look like the polished prince MH's mother? 😕 As I said, the CVs are hell bent on making another Miss Mogambo for shock factor! 😆

The first scene was super cute. Jo was so proud happy and excited for Jalal. She could not control her excitement and hug him. Its the first time she hugged him 😳 . 😆 .

First Jodha hug! 😳 Hugging is the new handholding for this jodi!

Love the way she was praising him and when Ja tried to give the credit she didn't accept. U know its nobody's fault Jalal himself always wanted to give credits to others. He is so humble 😳 .

I always felt the same- Jalal loves giving credit to others

And the urdu learning scene was so cute. Jo's shyness and happiness was portrayed so beautifully by Pari. It looked so natural.

Jalal is such a good son. Well he is best a everything. He was a great king, best son, hubby ,brother and would be a great father.

MCB's entry was funny . My dad was saying, "Yeh namuna kaha se mili humayu ko?" 😆 . And those musk copied from a english movie was hilarious 🤣.

It is unbelievable that Mirza is Mahachuchak's son...he is so sweet and kind and she is a pure villian..

I can't believe it either- but he is supposed to turn villain as well.

Loved the precap: seems like Mirza told Jallu he will tell Jo that Jallu loves her so much and came to Jo and said some other story 😆 and Jallu came running behind and saying its notmy fault i didnt ask him to do anything 😆 😆
