divi, i am satisfied with the episode, jodha did what a woman..a home maker is supposed to do in the time of crisis when relations are at stake..and that is what hamida did in maham's case and salima has also been doing the same time and again..!..and what worst punishment can ruk get other than a silent slap on her face and the guilt that she has to live in for betraying and hurting her own husband!

Divya u made take 5 for this episode n actually ur last one abt Maham is only giving me hope or else This show is no more jodha akbar... I hv no hopes on zee as im sure they lied to all of us...

We all know Jo mahanta of forgiving so not to think abt her... It's Jallu who doesn't hv decision taking capability by seeing which is correct or wrong... It's jalal character which is butchered more than Jo... I loved wen Jallu dint listen to Jo in Maham case...I'm actually feeling pity for Maham and adham bcz just bcz they r from bandhi family rules n punishment r different wer as ppl lik rukayya and abulmali from royal families r forgiven... As per spoiler Jo wil cme to know that adham is behind this attack so Jallu wil also know... So wil Jallu punish adham?? Y shud adham b punished wen abulmali who attacked Jallu was forgiven in mathura just bcz he is behanoyi???Is this justice fair?? It's definitely not mistake it's gunah according to jalal...bakshi gunah itni hi bada nahi thi ki he called in DEK n stopped talking to her n rukayya gunah itni chitin nahi thi ki he shud forgive her immediately...

As Jo told him to forgive by making saugandh on kanha he has forgiven rukayya... If he had not met Jo on the way we all know wat punishment he wud hv given to rukayya... As shehenshah how can he keep saugandh for ppl n make justice? Dint he say to jodha during bakshi matter and Maham matter that all relations r to kept aside while giving judgement???

I seriously dnt hv hopes on Maham also... But I want her to tel evrythng abt rukayya infront of evryone wen she n her son gets punishment... I sound lik sadist but I really want Maham to insult Jallu n question him that y was rukayya matter hidden n not given punishment n y she deserves punishment?? JJ thinks no one knows this matter even HB Salima doesn't know... Little they know that this news is known to bomb which may explode at anytime... I really wish this happens n I'm waiting what wil Jallu answer her as it's insult to him to hide matter lik this...

Thanks! Today I would say Jalal was influenced by Jodha presenting Ruqs case but he knew she was right; When he told Ruqs I only did not show you importance of late that was his own reflection

In BB and SD's case he had blindly listened to Jodha; but here I didn't get that sense

Although after the initial shock i can understand the reasons for Jalal's forgiveness, but what i don't understand is that overtly loving gestures he bestowed on his BEK ( you are my jaan !!!). He was like a parent gently lecturing a child.

To correct a wrong behavior one needs deep dive into the root cause and then take action, Jalal only understood part of the problem - he reassured Ruk about her place in his life, but he also needed to drive home that although Ruk is his first wife, Jodha is his first love... and that Ruk has to accept Jodha's place in his life and respect her accordingly.

By only reiterating how important Ruk is to him, he once again mislead Ruk to believe that Ruk alone is important to him. This will further boost Ruk;s confidence and give her the courage to do an even bigger kaand in future (my guess Jodha's MC)

Thanks! I think Jalal threatened Ruqs quite well. The "meri jaan" was likely not needed- but was for effect- to show he meant what he said.

Sometimes no reproach/No punishment actually makes one feel worse - so maybe Ruqs will improve.

If she doesn't, God save her the next time.

Thanks on the analysis; but why is what happened today so different from what BB and SD did? So why are people so upset now?

Well when gave it a 2nd thought I realised whtever jalal nd jodha did was not their "mahanta" but out of love. Jodha didn't do anything for ruku but for jalal. She knows tht if jalal punishes ruku he himself wont be happy. He himself will break down. He is not tht person who will forget evrything just bcoz jodha is there. Nd jodha understood if jalal breaks down, even she cant heal it. Whtever maybe the issue jalal loves ruku nd jodha understood tht. She gave lectures to jalal bcoz she knows jalal will understand but ruku wont. People may argue tht why jalal listened jodha but thts bcoz he is feeling guilty nd thts jalal for u who always takes the blame even though others r also equally at fault. He did the same during the MU track as well.

Personally I am not totally disappointed with yesterday's episode. ... never expected a public insult ... becoz the issue is sensitive enough. ... even I liked Jodha's reasoning also ... liked Jalal Jodha scene. ... now at least Jalal manage to controls his anger which indicates his maturity level... but ... if he confronted Ruq with the FP issue privately then it would have been justified. ... becoz she needs to understand the magnitude of the crime... yes it was a crime ... and jalal knows it... may be later...

I do not know why Folks are only comparing Ruqs to MA and not BB and SD.

What BB did was worse:
It not only gave false news on a pregnancy (like this time) but Jodha could have been killed if found guilty;She also was the cause of the hakima's death - but she was forgiven.

So, why didn't people ask why MA was not forgiven like BB?

I still think MA is worse:
- She failed in her duty as a Minister letting an enemy in
- She caused the death of many many soldiers
- Caused a public defamation of Jodha (with Ruqs it was private)
- caused an insult to the Mughal Sultanate

And Jalal has the ultimate right to forgive- as he did even with Adham Khan.

Even Abul Mali put his and Jodha's life at risk but he let him go but he is going after Gazi Khan.

Why are people accusing him of double stds now? Judgements always are altered by circumstances and the person being judged.
