What BB did was worse:
It not only gave false news on a pregnancy (like this time) but Jodha could have been killed if found guilty;She also was the cause of the hakima's death - but she was forgiven.

So she did get the punishment from Jalal and he broke all her ties with her, she was not allowed to participate in any of the functions and she was kept aloof, but only after Jodha pursuing she was forgiven, so why forget that?

So, why didn't people ask why MA was not forgiven like BB?

I still think MA is worse:
- She failed in her duty as a Minister letting an enemy in

- She caused the death of many many soldiers
- Caused a public defamation of Jodha (with Ruqs it was private)
- caused an insult to the Mughal Sultanate

She got punishment for all this, she was kept away from all official matters and worse, Jalal took away the status of a mother.

And Jalal has the ultimate right to forgive- as he did even with Adham Khan.

Yes he is the ultimate decider no doubt and he forgave Adham after Ruq was ok with it, and for the sake of his sultanate's izzat he did not. But when this time MA questions, he will not be in a position to answer, he can only say that it was his decision, but if people say he did that because to save his wife's respect and he was being biased, then he will not have an answer. No one will dare to change his decision, but they can always put their views across. And when asked in DEK and if he is questioned for being biased and what example he will set for others, he will not have an answer.

Even Abul Mali put his and Jodha's life at risk but he let him go but he is going after Gazi Khan.

He did punish Abul Mali as well, he took his eyes off, isn't it a punishment? He is in forest hiding and cannot lead a normal life, is it not a punishment?

Why are people accusing him of double stds now? Judgements always are altered by circumstances and the person being judged.

I am not saying it is double standards nor he hiding it was a mistake, but he trying to be normal with her and if he does behave normal from here onwards, ofcourse it is not right on his part, she just did not decieve her husband, she did play with an Emperor's emotions, his family's, his sulnatate emotions and trust. So it is no less a crime. And we shouldn't forget that, Jalal did forgive or rather ignore Ruq when she confessed that she knew that it was man in harem, even though she did not know the reality of he being Sujamal, she knew he was a male, so how many times she should be forgiven?

Divya she is not going to learn this time, as Jallu didn't neither said harsh words or atleast show his pain.. I feel from now on jallu will go JO to share his pain & trust her blindly while with Ruqu he will not have blind trust and try to spend some time with her..

I understand we all wanted Jalal to give Ruqs a earful but sometimes not making a complaint feels worse.

After the Shivani fiasco, Jodha wanted to hear a earful from Jalal; she said your silence was more painful - I want you to scream at me.

When you know the other party is hurt because of you but they don't complain because of their love for you- it hurts the most.

I have 10 percent hope that Ruqs will learn her lesson from this.

I also felt Jalal's threat was not loud but very menacing

If Ruqs begins to gloat to MA or anyone else she got away with it; I will say Jodha-Jalal made an attempt to change Ruqs and failed; and they will learn from this failure as with Adham, Sharif, and others

Yes Jodha did again raised in Jalal's eyes and Jodha was happy he made the right decision.

The last scene between Jodha-Jalal showed how strong their love was - it was beautiful

Jalaal always supported, loved, trusted Ruqu..But why can't he show how much he devastated with her as a friend & husband... Why can't he question her why she did it ? How can she even think to hurt him if she loves him ? Why can't he question her how many days she will continue this fake pregnancy ? Will she do drama of MC or she thought to bring someones baby and show him the kid is there's ? What's her plan ? When she going to tell him ?

Why can't he show his emotional side to her when he shows to MA and now Jodha ? Why may be Ruqu can understand him more if she see this emotional Jalaal ?

Why can't Jalaal at least scold her, as a friend and husband when she did "GUNNAH" not only to JJ but also to his mother & all people who are waiting for the news.. When he didn't forgive Bakshi even when he heard her Pregnancy news.. Can't he stop talking to her 1 or 2 days to show his pain ? Why is himself giving her chance to do another mistake ? There is no need for him to say " JAAN" and all, he just keep quiet & left there that would be at least a punishment Ruqu would feel...

I am disappointed with Jalaal or lot more than Jodha, neither he showed Ruqu his pain or scold her for the mistake she did ..

I would say one thing- there are different ways to show hurt and Jalal did show his hurt and yelled at her yesterday; he did threaten her today. What we also do not know is how he is going to treat Ruqs moving forward.

Sometimes my Mom gets angry at me- but gives me the silent treatment and refuses to tell me what is bothering her and it feels EVEN worse.

Just let us give it some time to see how the Ruq-lal equation lands out.

On Jodha's public insult- I would still say there were different circumstances.

For Jodha, most of the public insults were during the "ghrina" phase ... And they went both ways:

- If he called her to sing in the tent, she refused
- He forced her to sing in the DEK, she sang a Rajvanshi patriotic song
- He wants her to lose the chess match, she

The first major public insult was in the MC track when Jalal thought he had evidence and thought Jodha was his enemy ... He apologized in the same DEK and Jodha stormed off rejecting it.

Till date the one public insult I dislike is the one when Jalal sits Ben next to him the jashn and sends Jodha out (though till date I do not know why J odha stood up expecting him to call her when Salima could be an option and she knew he was upset with the Dhakka)

The other times Jodha was "insulted" they were already public:
- Ben track ... The issue was brought to DEK and Ben was proven innocent and Jodha in the wrong in front of the whole DEK
- Sujamal fiasco: It became public the minute Jodha was found with Sujamal by Jalal and his soldiers and with Sujamal killing all those soldiers in the fort

In the fake pregnancy, the impulsive Jalal could have immediately told on Jodha- but Jalal always had evidence against Jodha in the above circumstances but not during the fake pregnancy- hence, he waited.

Also, if Jalal did not have trust in Jodha in the FP; why would have called Salima for advice?

Also, in the Sujamal fiasco Jalal though Jodha was guilty of infidelity which was a bigger crime in that day and age

Comin to the episode , ahhh alas als alas ,it must have hurted jodha supporters badly ...the reason is all we know 😕
But i as a viewer was highly surprised ..i dont know how to react 😲
Yes yes m blabbering too much ..cutting things short if jalal kept things under wraps without having jodha in his way i wud have appreciated but cvs is a biggg let down .. A Shehenshah who vision to have whole of hindustan under his wraps is easily dictated by others , hw he ruled hindustan,m not sure 👎🏼..If he was angry then damn it ,be it be it ! but y easily led by others ...Jodha gave him a seriies of saugandhs (which reminds me of sujamal fiasco ) How jalal n jodha r different here ?? Actually jodha is consistent to her character ..n yesterday she was at her best behaviour ...👍🏼..Everything is becoming unrealistic ...u know here ppl r saying if jodha is in rukaiyah place things wud be different ,may be i agree with them bcz there is no another jodha .. N on that fateful he was asking her innumerable times who is he ??(physical abuse is not needed) A man who sees his wife n another man doin eye talking cant think normal even in 21st century ...So i think we shud just stop comparing these two incidents ... Now that everything has ended in a bad taste in our mouth for several reason i just hope rulkaiya redeemed herself to be really with jalal 😳. Jalal intead of pacifying her , making her c reason he was endearing her with statements like i also didnt like(jaan ,hug pe hug audience dont want such scenes right ?)👎🏼 jalal must have chid her , he ought to wen alone 😡. I m very sure n i want also Maham to raise this question bcz both betrayed mughal sultanate...😡😡.. Jalal has no sense of justice in this show 👎🏼

Mandyg a very rational post and it miss what happens in many families the concept which very few new age people can digest. This is a private matter and that is why he has to deal in private . Remember what Salima told about them to Jo both being childhood friends

Long long time back I remember reading a book on Harem politics and surprised and shocked at the type of happenings.

Jodha and her behaviour reminds me of the sanskrist shlok

Karyeshu Dasi, Karaneshu Manthri;
Bhojeshu Mata, Shayaneshu Rambha;
Roopeshu lakshmi, Kshamayeshu Dharitri;
Satkarma Nari, Kuladharma Patni

According to the Hindu Mythology, the six criteria of an ideal wife:

Works like a servant, Advises like a minister, Feeds like a mother, makes love like a nymph, is as beautiful as Lakshmi, and forgiving like the earth.

She is following these qualites to the T with her husband Akbar and also teaching him the goodness of forgiving. No doubt guilt is a very hard feeling to overcome and will Ruq have the same bullying attitude over Akbar like before now she will be much subdued and wont be able to have a haq over Jalal.

In the long run this will certainly help unless Ruq is so pigheaded and does not take the hint and canges herself have to W&W and see.
