Manasi the episode so good to watch Adham is the real culprit here, while MA has easily known that her son is the culprit ..

Loved how Jalaal with authoritatively took the Kaanta from JO leg, you can see JO smiling happily seeing this..

JaJo nok-jhok when Jo told why he remembers thing at last which he should have at first in the net , while Jalaal waited for the opportunity

Jalaal fighting & smiling back throwing the sword jumping to catch JO and the Amer music with both JJ smiling..Jalaal challanges JO to show her fighting skill especially now they are sourrounded by enemies. Jalaal knows JO skills, but when Jalaal attacked from the back, then JO came to fight..

JJ fight after a long time that to both together fighting and also last when Jalaal says only " 2 left" what we will do can we share each one ... Jo says this time I want to cheat kill these 2 put into her account. .😆

Lep love this time from both sides . Loved how Jalaal ignored Maham and just told he has Jo is with him, her duas & wishes are with him...👏

Precap was superb, now Jalaal want to take JO with him everywhere out side, now what you can do Ruqu ? 😈

Stop this fake pregnancy & start learning sword fighting 😆.. Ruqu desperation to divide JJ , while fate is bringing them closer and she unable to bear JJ closeness..Sad to see still Ruqu is thinking she can divide JJ and cheat Jalaal & whole family ?

Abhi, infact she tried to when she watched Jodha & Jalal's first sword fight practice in Agra but unfortunate thing is that she could not even take out the sword from its hood. Now if she thinks of more devious plans, then she might say she had some nightmare and she wish Jalal stay next to her or she may say she had a dream and in that prophet had asked her to stay with her husband (24x7) so that the child will be OK. Even though I pity her sometimes, it is difficult to digest her nonsense at times.

Mansi, sorry I could not read the post during weekend though I was too tempted. As my daughter is back fro holidays, she is demanding all my time and any failure has to be faced with her pouted face saying 'I have come for the holidays after 6 months and even now, you want to engross yourself in the internet. Please mom spare some time for me' and she feels she is doing me a favor by allowing me to watch the episode.😆

Jalal knew very well that unless he challenges her, Jodha will not pick up the sword on her own and try to defend herself, if the necessity arises. He was not worried that he can't save her from the enemies, but he could never take chance when it comes to his wife's safety.
Though Jalal was impulsive when it comes to relations, he was very calculative when he has to face the enemies. He was a very strategic fighter and make is moves with at most accuracy on how to & when to attack the enemies. That is what they showed when he waited for the enemies troop to move out to retrieve his Kanjar even though he knew he had one in his waistband. If he had tried to retrieve that while the whole lot of enemy soldiers were around, he was in danger of risking not only his life but also of his wife who is an innocent soul who had come to pray for his child's welfare. Even after he got himself out of the net, he didn't ask her to come our not she took that chance as even she had gauged the situation and knew if she got down, instead of helping him, he might stumble on her safety and face deadly blows from the enemies. So she stay put where she was and only took the dive when he tried to cut the net to release her from the trap. So good for her training back at Amer and a special mention of Sujamal for training her on all the situations she might face and how to act accordingly.
Later Jalal knew the enemies are not far away and they have to face them again and he also knew since they are in large number, there were chances he might be pushed to a corner and covered by the enemies and Jodha might be left unguarded. He also knew how Jodha reacts in certain situations and as a lady who respects her husband, she may not try to outsmart her husband by defending herself (it would have been termed as disgrace to her husband by calling him as what sort of Shehenshah Jalal was as he could not save his wife from the enemies and she had to defend herself), so she would have stayed unharmed even if she was surrounded by enemies unless it warrants on Jalal's life. She would have picked up the sword to save her husband but not herself. So he thought it would be better to challenge her than ask her to defend herself if time arises, so that the impulsive Jodha will accept the challenge and he need not have to worry on her safety or his safety, if the time comes. Moreover, he had seen her skills while practicing and also he had seen her skills on archery when she had fired multiple arrows towards an moving boat and her attack was so perfect that they reached the target and served the purpose. He had seen the sword fighting of Sujamal and also knew Jodha had been the student of Sujamal and hence there was no need for him to doubt on her capability, and also he had seen her bravery while she put the sword so swiftly at his neck when she doubted him as an enemy while he was visiting Abdul in Amer prison. Added to that he wanted to give her some position which she deserves and what best it will be than to honor her for her bravery in defending herself on the time of crisis and also helping her husband in fighting the enemies?
It was worth watching Ruqu's face when he told her that he will ensure that Jodha accompany him on all his tours and travels, be it war or peace. It was nice to see that the well known proverb " Man proposes and God disposes or What you sow is what you reap" has proved in case of Ruqu. She tried hard to avoid Jodha and Jalal's meeting s and the more she tries, the more they are coming close. Had she not planned her evil plan in bringing in her fake pregnancy to separate Jodha from Jalal, atleast she would not have faced the increased frequency in their meeting. Now with Jodha being occupied with Ruqu's welfare, Jalal is more frequenting on the pretext of to check on Ruqu's health and some times to have some private words with jodha. If not for the Fake Baby, Jodha would not have kept a pooja where both Husband and wife are required to complete the Havan and there by being blessed by the priest. If not for this Pooja, they would not have got trapped and Jalal would not have witnessed Jodha's deadly skills with sword and how wretched she becomes while facing enemies and how ruthless she was while killing the enemy, that she was the same Jodha who had removed the bullets from the gun while Jalal wanted to go hunting, just to save the innocent lives of animals. She was the same one who just removed the snake from Jalal's bed and left it unharmed despite it being filled with Venom. How else he would have seen her raged state when it comes to her husbands safety. There also she didn't stepped in to the fighting to defend herself but to defend her husband who was about to be attacked from backside by an enemy. (do we get to know that the backstabber of his brothers was not Sujamal but one of this Mughal sipoyee anytime soon?) Just see result of her (Ruqu's) jealous, now Jalal has openly declared that Jodha will accompany him wherever he goes and whenever he goes./ Who will say no to it when thye have heard about Jodha's warfare skills? that too from the 2 great warriors Jalal & Atgah?
We need to appreciate Maham for instantly realizing that that attacker could be none other than her son Adham Khan. We need to applauded to her sharp mind in analyzing the situation. It was such an ill fate of Jalal that she stood against him, otherwise she would have been the best strategist in Mughal empire.

Jaya, that's a superlative post!👏👏👏 The point that I especially liked is where you have written that Jalal knew that Jodha would be more keen to protect him than herself - she has that unselfishness and that concern for him that transcends her care for herself. So he followed his teda path of "challenging her to defend herself" which was a brilliant idea. I must confess that point didn't strike me at all till I read your post! Brilliant point!

If it happens as per the precap that Jalal tells Ruq he will never go anywhere again without Jodha, it may drive Ruq to go to extreme lengths about this fake pregnancy and expose herself. I am just waiting open-mouthed for her to get caught somehow!

Hi Maddy,

This is in response to ur response to my comment (both on pg 13) :) sorry was having trouble with quoting u, so making fresh post.

First things first, can't read too many comments much as i'd like to. U know why :)

Second, pls don't take my comment as a personal attack. It's not just you. Lots of people want to see a fiery jodha. I would also be happy to see her.

But as much as i know jodha, she will not yet show her fiery side to anyone outside her amer family and jalal. This is just like me. So i know. She has too much respect and too little actual intimacy with agrawasis to show her real self to them. The things i would fight with my mom for, i would tolerate from my MIL. She is totally at ease with jalal, so she can be herself with him and only him at agra.

I refuse to accept she has a secondary place in agra. The people who matter like jalal, HB, SB, Gulbadan begum, atga and wife, todarmal, tansen all value her. Even her enemies know her value and that is why they keep trying to do away with her.

Jodha as of now will show her fiery side to anyone who dares to hurt jalal. Like she had that meeting with maham.

Jodha showing respect to maham or ruq does not make her a bandi in my eyes. I know i am a minority in this regard. But this is my stand. Just because someone is bad, we don't have to stoop to their level. If we are good to people around us, we are good because that is our inherent nature, not because that person is good to us. Our reactions are our own and we should not give away their control to others. If someone is bad to me, it's her problem and misfortune. Why should i turn like her? Then how am i different from her? If jodha behaves cheaply with maham and ruq, where is the difference between her and them?

Self-respect is the respect a person has for self. Jodha has it in plenty. She does not lose her self-respect by being good to bad people. Rather she rises in my eyes. Everyone is not blind. People can easily see who is being graceful and who cheap. Esp when maham and ruq r exposed, jodha's goodness will shine brighter and more people will admire her for her qualities.

Yes, she has an alternate route, that is, stand up for so-called self-respect and refuse to look after ruq. Then where does that leave her with jalal? Yes, he will not mind it. But at the same time, his love will remain fixed, it will not increase. Do u remember the single tear that fell from his eye when she told him she wanted to look after ruq for the sake of his unborn child and dream. That one tear shows how much jalal values her for being magnanimous enough to look after his child even thiugh that child will be born to someone else.

I am also a wife and a daughter-in-law. Self-respect should not be at the cost of caring for your husband or in-laws. Love and care are more important than a false sense of self-esteem. At least that's my personal belief as nurtured by my mother and mother-in-law.

Radhika:
Maddy will probably reply this later as you have addressed her on this post. But if you can forgive me for butting in I wanted to share my point of view on this very interesting debate.
See I disagree with two sentences that you have written (but this is my personal way of thinking and I wouldn't try to impose my thinking of anyone else, so I respect your views on this even if I differ.)
1. I disagree with the sentence that "jodha, she will not yet show her fiery side to anyone outside her amer family and jalal. " I think every time she is assertive about causes close to her heart and she insists on following the path of what she knows to be right (even if she has to go against others to support the causes she believes in) it is a display of her fiery side. I personally do not think Jodha is different at homeand with Jalal, and different with others. In fact somehow I am seeing a lot of consistency in her whether she is with Jalal/family or with others. Whenever there is some topic that makes her want to support the cause of something she is equally assertive with Jalal or with the others. In fact I agree with Maddy that if she were more assertive about her own respect inside the family and outside, as she is about causes close to her heart it would be even better!
2. Also I don't quite agree with the sentence "Self-respect should not be at the cost of caring for your husband or in-laws." I think self-respect is paramount for all other relationships to flower. Whether it is your family or with others , how you value yourself influences how they value you.
Its my belief that unless you know how to respect yourself, you won't really be able to respect others.
These are just my thoughts that I felt like sharing. Sorry again for butting in.

Awesome take Mansi to a wonderful surprise filled episode 👏👏👏 .. the entire battle was more of a romantic foreplay between Jalal and Jodha 😳.. what made the episode even better is that we dint get any spoilers in advance and were not expecting anything much and thats what pleasantly surprised us and for once I m glad that the promo was misleading 😆 ...

Logically if I see the whole Jungle fight , it did look a bit filmy or more like today's times with hero-heroine surrounded by goons and then both getting lost in jungle till the troops arrive 😆 but who wants logic when there is magic 😛😉...

The other day only I was demanding Jalal-Jodha outdoor romance and woww looks like CVs just heard me out and gave a very unique sort of romance between both in jungle 😲😃 .. It was refreshing to see the Jalal-Jodha scenes in the episode simply because they dint look repitative and we were sparred of that same room finally 😆 ...

Loved the way Jodha took up the challenge from Jalal and started fighting those goons along with Jalal on a equal footing , mayb at times even better than Jalal 😉 ; Their cute little banter and challenges while fighting was quite cute and funny , goes on to show the kind of trust Jalal has on Jodha and he knew that she will successfully fight it out 👍🏼...

Liked the fact that Jalal never saw Jodha like a damsel in distress and became the hero for her but instead he wanted Jodha to equally get involved in the whole fight , thus giving her the respect being the wife of a great warrior 👏👏👏 .. He want Jodha to b his equal and not keep her supressed like a typical husband and thats why he asks her to join the fight because he knew that she is capable of it and mayb even better than him when it comes to sword fight 👍🏼

Rajat and Paridhi were really godo with the fight .. Rajat is obviously a pro at it but Paridhi was a srprising package here the way he holds that sword and fights it out 👏👏 .. the scene was executed well too ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Overall a very entertaining episode 👏👏👏

Hi Maddy,

Continuing response to comment on pg 13. :)

Coming to jalal. I can't say this to anyone else on this forum but i can say this to you. Forget abt how jalal was earlier (and even how jodha was earlier). In marriage, a couple can move ahead only by forgetting the past (or at least the bitter mempries of the past).

In WA epi, jalal and hb didn't reproach maham because as royals, they are trained to ignore slights and small people both. Besides jalal is the kind of person who will rather ignore someone than confront them. I myself am the same. If i feel hurt by someone, i totally cut off from them. In WA epi too, jalal ignored maham. Even recently in fri epi, he ignored her when she expressed relief at his safe return.

Yes, i fully agree with u that he punished maham and will punish ruq for what they did to him. That is because their greatest crime is betraying his blind trust in them more than anything else. But we cannot discount the fact that he was and will always be, moving ahead, aware of jodha's hurt also.

When he heard that ruq wanted jodha to serve her, he was extremely angry and wanted to give ruq a piiece of his mind. He only stopped at jodha's behest. In fri's epi, he fought with the enemy soldiers because they had insulted his khas begum.

Even with ruq, he is trying to make clear that he will spend time with jodha and give her her rightful share of his love and attention.

Everyone isn't confrontational by nature. Akbar kept forgiving his external enemies too many times till they crossed all limits. Likewise, he keeps forgiving his own people too for their transgressions. Till they cross a limit. Maham crossed that limit by asking her price for feeding him her milk. Ruq will cross the limit by showing him the mirage of a child he has been yearning for since a long time. These are much greater sins than attempts to personally malign him or jodha or trying to separate him from jodha.

Yes, jodha is his khas begum. But he is also a king. He puts relations before self-respect, whether his own or jodha's.

here, note one thing. more and more, i find him merging into jodha. He takes her as part of himself. She is not separate from him.

Still, like i said earlier, he is not taking insults to jodha lightly anymore.

when he punishes ruq, it will be hard to say how much he is punishing her for hurting him and how much for hurting jodha.

I will end with a story my mother used to tell me. When an elephant passes by, the street dogs start barking. But the elephant royally ignores them and goes its way. Does it mean the elephant has no self-respect? Or it has accepted secondary status to the dogs? Or just because it is capable of fighting battles, it should fight with every street dog too?

The bystanders see only the majesty and grace of the elephant, not the ruckus created by the dogs.

So it is with JJ. They are royalty and can well afford to ignore barking dogs like maham and ruq. Yes, if the dogs cross limits of sanity, they are put to sleep. So it is with maham and ruq too. They will meet their rightful end when absolutely required. Till then, they are tolerated and ignored as much as possible.

Let's not feel this takes away anything from JJ. :)

I like to frequent this thread because it has the highest concentration of insightful posts written by people of impeccable ability to transfer their thoughts to words. Here is another one. Great stuff.

A few days back, I was thinking the CV's had lost it. Another idiotic fake pregnancy drama. Surely the CV's seemed to be starved of ideas, any ideas and I could see the end of the serial approaching.

Now, either by design or chance, they have an interesting new direction to take the show, a direction which shows immense possibilities. The growth of Jodha as a character, as a fighter, a businesswoman, a mother and as a emotional rock of her husband. Jalal has always shown growth, now is the time for Jodha.

Jyoti, was just waiting for you to post. I knew, I knew, I knew you would have loved this episode. Awesome idea to surprise us, and then awesome way to show love in the midst of a battle, and awesome direction and dialogues and the whole idea of intermingling romance and action. And we got the Jalal and Jodha we always wanted! If this is foreplay with a sword in hand, why not???
What can I say, you said it all on behalf of both of us! For how long we have both waited for the serials we watch to surprise us without some usual cliches. This was marvellous to be given a total dhoom-dhaam without any promo giving away the secret!
Has Ekta heard us, do you htink? In a way now I am beginning to think we should not crib that we are not getting the usual "passion". This package of "passion of a different kind" and the duo being linked at many levels and not just the bodily, mental or emotional level is terrific!
