I can understand all royal customs of that era. But this ^^custom is something which I neither understand nor appreciate. Maybe the kings wanted to show their merciful nature. But releasing dangerous criminals could be a nuisance to the general public and demoralising to the soldiers who must have worked hard to bring them to prison in the first place. 😕

Yes, its A Hindustani, custom;;;

My mother told me, when My brother, born, My father see My brother, after 41 days,
because My mother faced, One MC.

According to custom among some Hindus, the mother and newborn are kept segregated from the rest of the family for 30 days (if the newborn is a boy) and 40 days (if the newborn is a girl; sometimes the period is 40 days, irrespective of girl/boy child). After this period, a "shuddhi" ceremony is performed and then only other family members are allowed to meet the duo.

A father is generally allowed to see the child on a day when there is no clash or inauspiciousness between the child's and the father's birth stars. Often, at least in South Indians, the father (or parents) is first shown the face of the child in a bowl of oil. And then only is the father allowed to look at the face of the child directly.

Such customs are followed both for the long life of the child as well as the father. Because sometimes the time when a child is born may spell "bad news" for the father. The restrictions apply to other close family members also. For example, a child's mama (maternal uncle) is not first shown the child's face directly if the child's birth star is Rohini (Shri Krishna's star). This is because such a child can bring "bad luck" to his uncle.

wow...great info abhay...it was nice to read...
I am speechless and shocked...all of akbar's kids are from jodha(MUZ)...
so in the show I guess jodha will be pregnant with jallu's twins but will die after 1 month...followed by she will be pregnant with a daughter...that too will not survive...

do you think they will show detail facts of history with all akbar's kids?

guys how many SRs are we going to witness b/w Akdha... 😉 ...their SRs doesn't seem to end at all... 🤣

i have come across many posts n threads even some online info dat jus provoded dat salim was MUZ's son n there was no mention of others...

murad n daniyal were muz's kids hush..😳

even he had 3 daughters from her (i guess counting bhul gayi there are so many😛) awee...

n he simply adored his last child his daughter n was almst replica of our baaghin jo n he jus loved her dat way..😳😆

finally so twins n fatima was not born from ruku...

den i hav a que ruku did gave birth to a girl.. wat was her name>??

MUZ accompained him even in d times of war.. even wen she was pregnant.. wat other proof we require to claim their love.. it just stands out..❤️

they have a EPIC LOVE STORY n nothing can deny dat..❤️

no wonder ekta is so attached to this show n overcame endless obstacles👏

so rightly they have potrayed in d show jalal craving for a child..
