As the highly scorching sun dawned upon the busy roads of the city, he wiped off the sweat from his forehead and searched for her like crazy. He had left no stone unturned to search for her. He was panicking so badly that he didn't know what would happen to him if he didn't find her. He was literally running on the hell busy roads of the city, just to find her. He knew she must have been under extreme troubles and hardships and the sole reason behind that was none other than him.
Have you.. Have you seen this lady?' he nearly lost his breath while asking this question to the people on the road, as he showed them her beautiful photo.
No' ..'Nope'.. Nahi' ...'Sorry no' .. were the answers he got in return. He felt so dejected. The burning sun was taking over him at a faster pace. He again wiped off the sweat and sat down on a footpath, under the shade of a roadside tree. He slapped his forehead in frustration and guilt. Where are you damnit?!' he cried to himself.
Jalal has been searching for her like this since last eight months. He has been so fragile and lonely after she had left him, all because of his mind-set and rough words. Since that night, he has never seen her. The only memories he have of her are those that of the beautiful night they spent together in each others' arms.
He looked at her picture. Her smile seemed to do two things to him. One, it soothed his pains and worries. Second, it also reminded him of his words which must have torn her inside out and how this beautiful smile must have vanished forever. He could not sit and rest like that even for a second. He got up again to search for her. He literally ran on the road, going from one random person to another, to ask the same question again and again.
He was so engrossed in his determined search for her that he didn't realize the big vehicle (assume a truck) coming from his behind. He was almost in the middle of the road, cursing his fate and himself..when BANG!!! The truck hit him hard and he met with a terrible accident.

Next moment when he opened his eyes, he found himself on a bed. His head throbbed with pain. He had got an injury on his forehead. His elbows were bruised. For some initial minutes, he found his vision blurry, but later on, the vision gradually became clearer. "Aaahh!" A cry escaped from his mouth.
"Sir! Please rest...", the nurse asked him to rest as he wasn't well enough to get up.
"Where am I?", he asked almost in a daze.
"Sir! You met with an accident in the nearby area. The people brought you here. Please rest as you have got a serious injury on your forehead. You have lost considerable amount blood as well. We have given you the suitable medications. Rest is all you need now.", the nurse said in a moderate tone.
"Oh cut it!", he said in an uneasy manner. He removed the bedspread covering him and tried to get off the hospital bed. "I need to find her..at any cost", he murmured continuously. His pain was unbearable but he had no other option than to resume to his search.
"Sir...pl..pleasee..", the nurse could only plead but to no avail. Jalal had already left the hospital room, with the aim of finding her. He was not well. His body was thumping with pain but his determination was firm. As soon as he came out of the room and walked in the hospital corridor, he felt a strange flow of wind gushing by his side. There was something very strange. A feeling that could only be sensed when she was near. A faint smile crept across his face and his pain subsided a bit.

She took a deep painful sigh for the nth time. The pain was unbearable. She clenched the bed sheet with her little fist as another agonized shrill escaped from her mouth. A teardrop rolled down her cheek.
"Be calm please... its almost done... you can do it".. The doctor constantly assured her that the delivery is almost done. Soon, she'll have her baby in her lap.
After few minutes, her cries stopped. She felt shattered. Her body was weak and pale. It seemed like she was lifeless. But no, she opened her eyes with much difficulty some minutes later. She had to live. But her body collapsed on the bed.
An angelic smile made a way on her otherwise pale face when she realized that she was a mother. She closed her eyes in delightful satisfaction.
The lady doctor held her palm in hers and comforted her. She silently congratulated this brave lady for undergoing all the hardships and pains and yet flying out of all these as a winner with bright colours. Still, she couldn't control her tears when she realized that this happiness will be short-lived.
She whispered in her ears The baby is by your side.. Take rest! And when you are fine.. Have a glance at your baby..'
Jodha wanted to see the baby at any cost. But the medications were so badly taking over her that she couldn't even open her eyes. She just had a calmness over her face. She knew she had very little time with her but for one thing she was sure, she would not leave the world before seeing and kissing her baby.

Finally... Finally he could feel her presence.. She was near.. His heart-beats were faster by now. He paced up quickly through the hospital corridor, almost running, checking each and every ward as they came by his way. The more he ran and searched for her, the more disappointment he got for she was nowhere. Then why did he feel her presence? His hopes went low but his legs didn't give up. Though he was poorly injured, his love for her seemed to sooth his pain. Finally he reached the last ward..the maternity ward.. he didn't have the guts to look up and see through the glass door. His heart was nearly going number by each second. Finally, he looked up and saw inside. There she was.
After eight months he had seen her. His world suddenly turned upside down. He had found her finally. His face was a sight of tears and a beautiful smile. Without thinking further, he opened the door and rushed inside. There was only a nurse beside her. He was so much lost in Jodha's angelic face that he didn't realize that he had actually entered a maternity ward and that, a baby was beside Jodha.
His legs which didn't seem to give up till some minutes ago, were now stumbling as he moved further towards her. Finally he reached to her. His forehead injury had started bleeding again but he didn't bother about it.
Jo..Jodha..' he stammered as he sat by her side. Ya Allah.. you are my life Jodha.. Where were you..'.
Jodha who was in slight unconsciousness slowly opened her eyes. As her vision became a little clearer, she saw him. She was shell-shocked to see him there, right by her side. She felt as if the time had come to a standstill. Her eyes widened with shock.
J..Ja..Jalal..' she uttered with immense shock and difficulty. She looked at his injuries and was really worried for him. Jalal was still so engrossed in the happy feeling that he had finally found Jodha, that he remained oblivious to the fact that Jodha was in a hospital, and that too in a maternity ward.
Only after hearing his name from her mouth did he come to real world. All of a sudden, he got up from the bed. He realized that Jodha was very weak and pale. A lone tear escaped from Jalal's eye. He looked around to check where he actually was.
Finally.. finally he laid his eyes upon a tiny creature by Jodha's side. He immediately came nearer to Jodha and the baby. He was stunned. He understood everything within a second.
He looked at Jodha with a surprised look. And Jodha's eyes gleamed with pain and happiness. She could read his questioning eyes so well. She just nodded a YES. Jalal was still not out of the shock. An adorable smile broke out on his face as he looked at the baby. He noticed that Jodha was trying to say something. He moved himself towards Jodha.
She's..She's your angel..' she whispered in his ears and smiled as she said that.
The nurse witnessed all this and understood everything within a second. She left the couple alone for some time.
What..', he was happy beyond words. He just could not believe all this. He looked at the adorable angel who was sleeping. Her tiny fingers, tiny eyes, saliva oozing out of her little mouth. She looked so beautiful. Flawless as her mother. Her face just like her father. Jalal was immensely elated. He didn't know how to react, what to say.
His fingers trembled but still, he managed to touch the forehead of his angel. Gosh! Magnificient' , escaped from his mouth. She was so pure. She was his daughter.
He moved his teary eyes towards Jodha, whose eyes were closed by now. He grew alarmed.
Jo..Jodha'.. he said. No reaction from Jodha's side. JODHAA'.. he said loudly. Jodha still didn't open her eyes. Jalal's heart literally stopped beating for a second.
