I understand Jodha's pain, hurt and anger.

but Bhavya, Jalal is repenting like hell..he is moving heaven and earth to have a talk with her...but its her who's not talking! it looks justifiable for a while but not all the time..galti sabse hoti hai..Jalal is human so he did a mistake better say sin..as u dont want to go into Jodha's mistakes so I am not bringing that here.

he is a Shehenshah, he is running behind her leaving his saltanat for so many days, so that she understands his state, so that she forgives him, so that he can assure her their future..yeh koi choti baat nahi hai! its only Jalal who understood her pain the most...didnt u see Bharmal-Mainavati, Jodha's own parents terming Jodha's hurt as guroor?? Jalal said it when he felt it..before coming to Amer he kept saying she is deeply hurt bcz of him...but now when he met her, tried every possible way to talk to her, her actions conveyed him that she is showing her ego to him.

she does have ego...no one can deny that! before u MU me, I love Jodha the way I love Jalal..in this case, I agree she has every right to show her anger, she did good leaving Agra, but now look at Jalal...he has done enough for any person who made a mistake to get maafi..
isse zyada aur kya karega woh? at least now Jodha should forgive him!

its not about men or women, its about the kind of gunaah u committed, its about whether u admit the sin or not, whether u r repenting, whether u r enduring the burn of it..Jalal is doing everything...he deserves apology.

I am new to this forum...I started watching JA couple of months back but never commented on this forum. But this topic compels me to comment.
I do not think Jodha's behaviour is attitude or ego. Nor do I agree that women are always supposed to love and forgive. These are impossiblr and unrealistic standards for anyone be it male or female. Jodha' character has been brought in question again. And nothing matters more to a woman of honour like Jodha, than character. Obviously she will feel hurt.
She is feeling for her husband and remembering him though he questioned her character and banished her.
They are just not being much expressive...Jodha of her hurt and her expectations, Jalal of his guilt and regret. Jodha is more reluctant in expressing her emotions.

Sometimes it takes time to forgive a person. I find it rather a positive message how the wife is letting husband know, making it clear once and for all how such accusations hurt her and how she will not be able to tolerate them. I feel Jodha is trying to cope with this hurt and side by side also letting her husband feel to what extent she is hurt.
Jodha is just human. And I love it how she is not made a devi despite the qualities she possesses.

Jodha is devoted to Jalal but does not want to get hurt again. Sometimes resentment/anger are just a way to shelter one's vulnerability...

Jodha is perhaps trying to show that only saying sorry will not help. She wants Jalal to repose basic faith in her.

I feel Jalal should not have taken it as some nakhra. I hope this precap is just his way of pretending to go away and not bother...so that Jodha finally speaks...comes after him...
I feel experience with Jodha will make him little more intuitive and understanding.

Jodha too would learn to be more communicative and expressive...and not always remain guarded with her husband.

These episodes are romantic and offer food for thought in their own way.

I think Jalal's relationships with other queens have been shallow or incomplete in some way or the other. It will be relationship with Jodha that will make him realise what it means to be life partners. I am hoping Jodha will be perfect partner for Jalal, more than just a queen who sleeps, eats, goes for boat rides with her king. These incidents will hopefully make them more mature and their relationship will be so solid that no instigating from anyone will be able to spoil it.

Good question. Thanks for making this post.
well its 16th century or 21st century it does not matters. Male dominated. That's why Jodha should forgive him. Women should not have any self respect. If he is emperor so what? At least he should know what to talk and not.

Yes, he is shehensha and he has so many jobs to do.Agree! And one of his jobs is NOT to believe 'hear and say' BUT to analyse the facts around before coming to a conclusion which he did not do in Jodha's case! He failed not only as a husband but as a King too.

That isn't the question at all here with the current situation as far as Jodhaa's false step was the roof of this fiasco so when Jalal wasn't even entirely responsible for this , she herself has a bigger part in it , how much time does she really need , not to forgive but to assume and acknowledge her own part of responsability ? That was only hubby wife trouble and Jodhaa has given him speech of what all women used to endure ! Seriously , there is a limit in blaming or accusing !

Jodha is at fault, agree! She should have thrown away her promise or whatever crap and told everything to Jalal. She was wrong, but NOT that much wrong when compare to what Jalal did to her. Pointing the finger at her character is not something one can easily forgive. I opinion that Jodha's current stand is needed, so that next time when issues come on jodha (of course there will be many more as long as MA, and hooka queen are there), Jalal will think hundred times before coming to a conclusion!!
