Hi, Aunty. The moment I read this post I was constantly laughing out loud picturising what u d written. I couldnt get the Chinese communist cadre bit, but u explained that bit later. Ur extremely humorous & sarcastic take too, is a big compliment to the farce we r subjected to nowadays, I d say.

Am not inspired to write anything about our now permanent (hopefully not)leaky watertank Jalal & definitey not about the Jodha who decided to make a giant leap from a love budding as a lotus in keechad to bahut prem karte hain , what fast work 😲 .

And Hamida s nonsensical nakres 😡 grrr , & what was Salima begum , the ever wise standing there mute like a kamba? Our Ruqqu seems to be far more practical & down to earth than that whole gang that she finally managed to talk some sense into her sulky saas.

And Mainawati topped the class in OTT with that screech to cut off her kaala jiv 🤢 . What was the need fot that, i wonder. I honestly hope Jalal bucks up to his old smart, tedha ways if anything good is to come for him or this show.

But please please Aunty, however much we the minority few r unhappy with the way this show is going, u please keep writing for us. Ur succinct humor is so much needed for us to bear the current torture shown ( we all cant seem to stop seeing bcos of our love for Rajat s Jalal) & also this is the one thread we all can safely criticise both the leads freely when they warrant it.

What a perfect set of choices! I too loved Ruqaiya, and most of all her cool putdown of the sanctimonious Salima. Hamida looked like the abbess of a nunnery.

But not your Thullu. Tripti, whatever that means. I loved that whole scene, the bizarre vocal effects Mainavati produced, and yes, I too had that flashback to Sukanya and her kaali jihva. It does seem to run in the family!

Ruqaiyya's loving concern for HB 😳. I loved the way she over-came her deep dislike for Jodha & made her Ammi jaan her priority.. Her gentle words & behaviour made me believe that maybe, just maybe there is hope for Ruqaiyya.

HB was crying her Jodha-jaap as usual. HONESTLY, WHY can't the woman SEE that there are others who exist too?!

She epitomises the, "There are none so blind as the ones who refuse to see" quote to the hilt. 😡

Not once did she soothe Ruqaiyya & her loving care for her, not once did she thank her for the food she fed to her, not once did she cast even a sympathetic eye on Jalal's plight , it was all abut Jalal's "crime", Jodha's purity blaah blaaah blaaah!

I was glad to see her Quran on her lap, otherwise I wouldn't have been surprised a BIT if she had cut out Jodha's (lovely) face out of her portrait & started worshipping that instead! 😡

Jalal's fond, teasing smile while drifting off to sleep.. Ameri Jalal might just be back! Like many others , I hope he uses his brains & teda methods to gently push Jodha into his (metaphorical) lap.. Sorry aunty. 😉

now i know why ruku is like tht. if HB had loved ruku in the same way she does for jodha, im sure ruku would have been better off. if she had taken care of jalal's other wives im sure they would not have any probs. she never fought for of her other "bahus". who is she to talk about right or wrong??? was she waiting for her jodha bahu to come & be the massihah??? & SB deteriorated from the benz track itself. she neither stopped jalal nor jodha to consume the poison. why??? bcoz she wanted jodha to take the credit. credit k chakkar mein to dono ki jaan chali jati. & regarding ruku's concern, i had always said no doubt she loves auda & herself, but she loves her family unconditionally. whether its jalal, HB or rahim she loves them all. if we remember rahim calls ruku "ammijaan" as well.
