There were a lot of illogical things in the episode that were obviously done to drag the track:

- Sujamal's second vachan which makes no sense once he is caught

- Jodha answering yes to his, "Do you love him?" When he is implying a totally different love.

- Jodha being silent through the whole conversation- the CVs did a big injustice to Jodha's character today

Don't forget the mountain of dead men.. literally...as someone said laashon ka dher 😆 Enough with the fool in the guise of Superman aka Sujamal... they haven't even shown such heroic deeds for Jalal...why all this hoopla for Sujamal..

then, he could possibly have won back Mewat single-handedly with no back-up army at all...😆

But, all is forgotten in what was Jalal / Rajat Tokas' brilliant performance. So, here is my take 5 dedicated to him:

(1) A trust that refuses to die: Kudos to Jalal, that even after all of this, listened to his heart and wanted to ask Jodha one last time that who was that man. My heart went out to Jalal when he touched his heart and said that his heart wanted him to ask her once more. His heart was still battling his mind.

This line MADE the episode for me.. there were a few bits I personally found OTT.. but this above line when he hits his chest and said 'How unfortunate that because of you I've started feeling the beats of my heart... and this damned heart WANTS me to ask you once again.. to trust you one last time.. to give you one chance to explain yourself'

The CVs chose to keep Jodha silent for a vachan that is no longer valid as Jalal already saw these two meet! It was just to drag the track.

(2) The depth of love: In his hurt and angst, you could see the depth of his love ... How much he loved and respected her ... How he never felt like looking at any of his other begums because he never loved them ... It was only love for her that had risen. His words spoke eons about his love and how much he too was looking for one word of reciprocation from Jodha.

Instead, he found himself believing that Jodha had done all of this under revenge ... A pain that would last his whole life vs. Ben's poison that would have killed him instantly.

Note to CVs: Jodha was not under any vachan to share her feelings with Jalal- she just could not take Sujamal's name.

(3) The physical hurt: Many noticed Jalal hurting Jodha but he gave just as much hurt to himself through the process as he banged his hand in the wall... He was hurt hurting her as much as she was getting hurt herself.

The silver lining: we now know why Jodha will kiss his hand. 😳

I still found the hair pulling unnecessary... he could have just maybe held her tight or shook her a bit..the hair pulling was out of character and status... I know many many many will not agree with me.. I know it was the most monumental catastrophe of his life.. but still.. 😊

(4) The raising anger: Jalal/Rajat nailed the boiling anger as he asked his yes / no questions to Jodha that Jodha said yes to. The screams, the helplessness, his wanting to hurt her but not able to, just brought to life the turmoil he was going ... Even then, he could not hurt her and told her to leave, a punishment that would hurt him as much as her.

I can never forgive the CVs for having Jodha answer "yes" on did she love that man! It made no sense but to drag the track,

HORRIBLE!

(5) The Shehenshah: I am glad Jalal still was under control, while broken. He brought his court together and criticized them for their inadequacy. The biggest thing: he did question Maham Anga on how this mistake happened as well as questioning Shariffudin. His minds were still sharp ...

I actually enjoyed his breathless seething yet restrained anger in this scene the most!😃

One side note: Where is Maan Singh when you need him? Couldn't he identify the Rajvanshi and his motives?

Jalal-

When a man screams in pain, the actual pain is only half the noise he makes. The other half is the effort at being forced to accept it. He was feeling cheated. But nobody had cheated him. But still he had the same feeling of being cheated.

Jodha-

Sometimes silence becomes a curse and it can't protect you always. You may have reasons for your silence but you can't expect that silence to be understood always. Unfortunately, silence can be interpreted in as many ways as one can, sometimes as a lie even though its not really a lie.

Adiana- thanks for posting. It is hard to go back to the shaadi vachans ... Because there are times both have gone against the shaadi ka vachans ... Think back to Jalal in the beginning of the wedding.

The CVs are trying to show how Jodha is bound by her promises- they are showing it to the extreme to make a point ... Just as Jalal's anger was at an extreme today to make a point.

Given both Jodha and Jalal are victims of circumstances, If Jalal apologizes , I also expect an apology from Jodha for having to hide the truth. I think we will see that so we should give the CVs and Jodha a chance first.
