My dear Nancy,

I am so glad that you have your priorities right.Your exams are the most important thing for you right now, and while I am sure you would have done very well in the two of end April, you now need to do even better in the semester end exams.

It is always more difficult to focus on continuous revision over a period of nearly a month, and I am sure you will feel sick and tired of the syllabus and your books at times. My advice to you then would be to do something completely different and physically demanding.

Take a long walk, jog, or play a strenuous game of tennis, if you play it, or of the game you like best. That will rest you mind, improve your fitness and make you better equipped for the next round of studies/revision. Take a short nap when your eyes are tired, with cold pads on them.

I do not normally foist my advice on young people, but for whatever it is worth, my advice to you now would be to stay away from the IF, completely, till June 1. Do NOT try to sneak in update your FFs. You will see that the originally planned half an hour will become an hour or even two - for writing is something you clearly enjoy and it is addictive.

Then again, when you go back to your books, your mind will still be half on your FF. Your concentration will suffer, and that is the last thing you want with your exams ahead, is it not?

So, DON"T come here at all till your exams are over. Your faithful readers will not mind, and in fact they will welcome you back with even greater eagerness; does not absence make the heart grow fonder?😉

After May 31, why you can write 18 hours a day if you like,but till then, it would be the best to put a full stop to all this creative activity.
