Hi all, am back with another post - this may rile many and pacify some - but this is my presentation of TE's line of thought on the actions of his Mirchi and on his line of questioning her.
So, let me get to the point - A lot of forumites are wondering on TE's line of questioning - and either asking why is he not catching the bull by the horns or saying how can Jodha answer when he is not questioning her directly. So here goes why -
If all remember, everytime TE questions Jodha on any issue, Madam takes on a very aggressive stance and confronts him with her own counter questions with a 'How dare you doubt me' attitude - The lastest in this was the murti kaand, where when TE came to ask her, she immediately shot back with 'Kya aap humare baare mei aisa sochte hain' - very typical response of people who are of the self - righteous variety - they will always get aggressive when such Qs are asked, thinking their character is being doubted - and this is what Jodha too is (No evolution in character graph CVs!!!)
TE has understood Jodha completely - I keep saying this and everytime I am being proven correct - So if TE asks her the Q right away, on who she is meeting, her response would be an immediate -'You are doubting me' - Pls watch the promo and watch Paridhi's expression and all will realise this is exactly what Jodha will be doing - and knowing this and since the issue is of a very sensitive nature and since TE sincerely does not doubt her character - it is for this reason that he has been asking her to share her troubles with him - and all Jodha needed to do was respond with a 'Yes I am troubled by some matter but am unable to share it with you now since I myself do not know or understand what it is. Once I have been able to do so, You will be the first person I will tell' - That is all he needed - And it is for this reason he has not asked her directly but keeps asking her indirectly.
As all have been stating why TE does not ask Jodha straight out - well he will do so (promo has told us that he will) and know this all of you - that all he will ask for is the truth (He has not doubted her character even in the promo), which Madam Jodha will interpret as an aspersion on her character by her husband - How a simple Q on who she is meeting in the dead of the night can suddenly become a crime I honestly dont know - but that is exactly what TE will be accused of having committed - Now how is TE supposed to know that Jodha was meeting Sujamal? Was he supposed to have 'Divya Drishti'? How was TE supposed to know that the meetings were about finding the person who wants to kill him? Is he supposed to have ESP? And how is TE supposed to know that Jodha loves no one other than him? Has she ever told him that he is anything more than Duty? Is he supposed to read her mind?
Coming to the spoilers and the promo, here is my take on all of it - If all remember the freeing of the caged birds and how all were citing it as symbolic - yes it was symbolic but the symbolism will be presented next week by TE. When he asks Jodha for the truth, she is definitely going to accost him with the 'Mere charitra par laanchan' and TE will finally set Jodha free of all her 'Vivaah Vachans' which he may cite as the cage that is holding her back - thus setting her free to do what makes her happy - Whether he sends her back to Amer or not I wont say now since I dont know, but I dont expect him to say it - since to my mind this will be about TE setting Jodha free, as he did the caged birds (even his dialogue of that scene - 'lo hum aapki uljhan durr kar dete hain' now makes sense here), it will be Jodha who may leave the palace in the middle of the night - like she did after the MC track to commit suicide - thus with a distraught Moti running to HB in the morning with the news that Jodha is missing and HB meeting TE and Moti finally opening up about Sujamal and of TE's Qing having upset Jodha - thus TE going in search of Jodha as he did in the suicide track.
This is my take, becoz this track is supposed to be over by mid next week and Jodha being sent to Amer is mere speculation since Jodha's going from the palace will not be a public affair (and going to Amer would be a public affair) but the action of a guilt ridden and emotional person, taken on the spur of the moment.
As for what happens, only next week will tell - but unfortunately my TE will be bashed just for asking a simple Q 'Where do you go in the dead of the night Jodha, without telling anyone and whom do you meet?' and for the act of setting Jodha free of all the duties that are pulling her down due to her 'Vivaah vachans', since, as per her own admission 'TE is her kartavya'!!!
My poor much maligned TE!!!
