Jodha Akbar - Does one need to be taught to improve and evolve???

grt post dear ...but personally i feel rukiya's character is beyond redemption ..and its gonna fall down even further with the progress in akdha love story ...even if jalal's makes her sit and makes her understand what he feels for jodha ..will she ever understand in the first place??? obviously she wont ...jodha has always thought good for her but has rukiya done the same for jodha ..i guess NEVER ..and she will never either ...she can stoop to any level and i wont be surprised if she even tries to get jodha killed in future...

Tedha Emperor Jalal, when he brought his Mirchi to Agra as his wedded wife, was looking to crush her as a person - such was his need to 'Win over his softer emotions for this upstart woman'. Today, he is a man in Love with the same upstart - The one he wanted to win, he has lost to and thus 'Haar kar bhi jeet gaya' - 180 degree turn made by him too. All this has come slowly and subtly as he sees her 'Genuineness' - She has always been 'Genuine' and 'Honest' in her reaponse - whatever shape it may have taken - Hate, admiration, respect, and now unbeknownst even to her conscious self Love - And all this she has 'Shown thru her action and deeds' that she is a woman of 'INTEGRITY' and not an 'Opportunist'. This is not 'Sitting Jalal down and giving him a talk on herself' - this was pure and simple behaviour and this showed TE that the woman who he wanted to crush is one who he should cherish - TE evolved and today has become the Emperor in the land of 'LOVE' - this was the reward that he got from the Universe for having the guts to 'EVOLVE'

Ruquaiyya, the woman who had a headstart, and the woman who could have had it all - She is TE's first wife, has been with him the longest, the one who had his trust, friendship and above all his indulgence - Today stands at a place where she might loose all three - She has always seen her best friend act with 'Genuineness' to her and to others - She has always seen him give 'Genuine' and 'Honest' responses to her and to others - She had before her a man of 'INTEGRITY' - Does she need to be 'Sat down and given a talk on his Integrity, Honesty and Genuineness'? - Has he ever acted in a double-faced manner towards her? - Then what for this insecurity? - If the insecurity is over not being 'Loved', well he has always listened to her every rant and complaint unflinchingly and given her due regard and response, then why not she confront him over this insecurity? - Is it becoz she does not want to hear what he has to say? Then how does his sitting her down and talking to her make a difference - becoz she will still not like what he has to say and becoz he sat her down and made her hear the unpleasant facts, her behaviour will worsen.

Yes TE is between the Devil and the Deep sea here, but as of now his not sitting her down and talking about him and Jodha to her makes sense and as for talking to her of her behaviour - I believe he has been doing that from the Tasneem kissa and has done so thrice already.

Ruquaiyya, with the coming of other wives in TE's life, needed to 'Evolve' as a person - and since she had her husband's trust and indulgance and above all his friendship and loyalty, she needed to create the space for the others - but something in her made her 'STAGNATE' - and Life waits for noone - Life comes with opportunities for each to 'EVOLVE' and those who have the guts and gumption to do so, get their reward from the Universe - but those who dont, for them the Universe becomes the 'Zen Master' and whips them to 'EVOLVE'.

I do not like THIS Rukayya because

Nobody forces you to be arrogant and insulting to others, she has grown up that way is the argument - then there are others like HB, Jiji A, GB, Salima Begum who are NOT like her, when they have also grown in same atmosphere. She can learn from them also. It is Rukayya's CHOICE she chooses to believe and FOLLOW MA rather than these.

People DO change when they come under influence of positive forces, there are N number of examples through out history. Even Jalal was portrayed as cruel - he was under the influence of MA & BK then. It is Jalal who HAS CHOSEN to change due to Jodha's influence on him or his love for her. Jodha DID NOT FORCE HIM TO or EVEN ASK HIM TO.

What is stopping Rukayya from following positive influences, she is the ONE CHOOSING TO FOLLOW MA.

Rukayya ENJOYS insulting and humiliating people, what is likable about such people?!

She was barely civil to Jodha who was scared stiff when she came to Agra, a nicer person would have behaved better with her, like SB, HB did. Rukayya chose to threaten, humiliate Jodha and flaunt her EGO.

Which kind of persons tells her husband's new wife that he will throw her after spending one night with her?
There are LOT of examples of kings having multiple wives where they lived with dignity.

Rukayya was GRAY till she thought her property - which is what she considers Jalal was ONLY hers. When she thought somebody is going to take him away - then her true colors came out.

It is NOT for Rukayya to decide WHO Jalal should love, It is not for Rukayya to DECIDE what rights JODHA should claim on Jalal.

Jodha - Jalal RELATIONSHIP IS ONLY THEIRS - Rukayya has NO RIGHT to tell them both how to be.

OK she did not know about Ben being vishkanya - BUT SHE KNEW Jalal did NOT want to marry Ben, he protested. What kind of friend GOADS AND PUSHES her friend to marry another woman TO SPITE HIS ANOTHER WIFE?

Rukayya ALWAYS robbed the women of haram of their dignities by treating them like her personal slaves.

RUKAYYA IS NOT ABOUT GIVING RESPECT TO ANYBODY NOT EVEN TO THOSE WHO LOVE HER AND PAMPERED HER.
Rukayya ONLY listens to Jalal not because he is HER HUSBAND because HE WILL NOT HAVE IT ANY OTHER WAY. She TRIES with him also to manipulate him into behaving THE WAY SHE WANTS with his other wives.

Rukayya IS NOT EVEN TRULY GREATFUL TO JODHA for saving Jalal's life. If she was she would not say that Jodha DID IT OUT OF SELFISH REASONS.

Rukayya is petty, selfish and vindictive person, who enjoys belittling people because SHE CAN DO THAT.

She is not about GIVING RESPECT - SO SHE DOES NOT DESERVE TO GET IT.

THAT SHE WAS GRAY earlier IS BECAUSE IF SHE WAS NOT EVEN THAT - then Jalal would not have even had affection for her! It is NOT TO BE PRAISED IF SHE HAS BEHAVED NICE SOME OF THE TIMES. MOST PEOPLE ARE SUPPOSED TO DO THAT THEIR ENTIRE LIVES!!!

Second chance at What? - If now Jalal loves Jodha and NOW Rukayya decides he should NOT - it is not for her to decide.

Second chance at being Jalal's wife, she has always been - WHAT STOPPED HER IN BEHAVING DIFFERENTLY. If she had maybe Jalal would have been a different person, and might have loved her.

Jalal has always pampered her too much. I do not even agree that Jalal should CONFIDE in Rukayya about his relationship with any of his other wives or his feelings or lack of for them. There are certain boundaries and this is an IMP one. Jalal did it earlier and what Ruk & MA did - they USED JALAL'S HURT and INSULTED EGO to USE IT FOR GETTING THEIR WAY - using that to manipulate him into behaving the way they wanted.

They RUBBED it on Jalal's face everytime NOT tried to make him forget it? If they cared for Jalal's feelings they would have tried to heal him not rub salt in his wounds by mentioning Dhakka and Jodha's behavior in his face all the time.

I think Rukayya is going to get the SHOCK OF HER LIFE not about Jalal Jodha relationship BUT when she comes to KNOW MA was the cause of her MC and when she will realise that SHE LET MA use her for her own needs and caused harm in Rukayya's own relationship with Jalal.

That is when she will HAVE to take a hard look at herself.

I had somewhat liked Rukayya of OLD but I am sorry I do not like what she has become - AND BLAMING JALAL or anybody else - she is NOT STUPID so why is she letting MA use her???

Do you remember how Rukayya used to dislike MA and be suspicious of her. Remember the episode when Jalal was sleeping and Rukayya did not let MA come in to give imp news also.

Rukayya HAD BRAINS then - if she lets MA use her like this RUKAYYA IS GOING TO SUFFER and IT IS ONLY RUKAYYA who will be responsible for this.

Rukayya KNOWS MA - IF ANYBODY IN JA KNOWS MA IT IS RUKAYYA
Jalal does NOT nor Jodha or HB or SB or anybody.
Rukayya KNOWS what MA is capable of SO WHY IS SHE LETTING MA USE HER???? How CAN SHE BLINDLY TRUST MA????????????

How can you fault Jalal for this??!!!!!!

If anything I think Jalal is doing her a FAVOR by showing his displeasure, if Rukayya values Jalal more than MA she should listen to HIM not MA.

Rukayya will NOT CHANGE till she is under influence of MA

Rukayya IS NOT LOOKING AT HER OWN ACTIONS. If anything Jalal has BEEN MOST PAMPERING TOLERANT AND ADORING husband if not LOVING. He lets her get away with her actions and that is why she is getting worse. He punished BB but let Rukayya get away for Murti kand and did not even open her part in this to others.

Jalal Jodha relationship is NONE of Rukayya's business just as Jalal Rukayya relationship is NONE of Jodha's or Jalal Salima relationship if NONE of Jodha and Rukayya's.

Till RUKAYYA WANTS to DECIDE AND CONTROL HOW Jalal should behave with Jodha she is not going to change and she is going to harm her own relationship with her EGO. Jalal is NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR Rukayya's actions ONLY SHE IS. She has brains for God's sake why she is not using!

Stop feeling sorry for Rukayya - she NEEDS this to OPEN HER EYES and take a look at her OWN ACTIONS.

She WILL WHEN MA truth comes in front of her eyes esp the fact that MA deprived her of her life's most cherished dream

Jodha's position in Jalal's life is NOT FOR RUKAYYA to decide and SHE IS DOING THAT, so she is harming herself only by her actions.
