Around 1996 ... I went to fatehpur Sikri and Aggra Fort so I may be mixing up the places a bit since it is a very hazy memory. I remember seeing three jails in front of the harem (for the women who became very violent with each other to cool off!) and some three bath pools about half the size of modern swimming pools, and one Jodha ki rasoi. I also remember the Buland darwaza and one dargah which was the only white marble building (all the rest were red brick)

i asked the year because you had mentioned in your reply in previous pages that you saw the corridor which connected Akbar's khwabgah called Mahal-i-Khas, and Jodha's palace...!... 😊

I asked because that corridor was removed by ASI in an excavation in 1999-2000. You were lucky. U saw it.

So i thought surely you must have visited FS before 1999. And see, i was correct. 😉 ..

Btw, how was that corridor like..?..

@Mansi : Like us , CVs dont remember those dialogues so precisely .. they will forget what they said or showed last week .. for eg :letter never got a conlcusion 😆 .. so just because Jalal-Jodha in their tombs said thats the last night of their disagreements , does not mean Ekta and CVs wont show any MUs later ... they will hv to run the show for another yr na .. so well 😆

Coming to election ., my main issue was Ruqaiyya made it look Jodha won because of her charity and this happened because of Jodha's own blunder .. I would hv understood this act of Jodha if she never wanted to win this election but was forced into it but thats not the case .. she did wanted to win and so even voted for herself after getting those flashes , so then why did she ask Salima and Jalal secretly to vote for Ruqaiyya is beyond my understanding 😕

Yes it was a very short corridor type, much shorter than the other corridors ... but the walls were fully decked with elaborate pattern sort of thing with inlaid glassy looking mosaic bits to make the patterns. But it was a pretty dark corridor, and not much light was streaming inside it, so it did have the look of a corridor being secretly used perhaps? Why the hell did they remove that corridor? Are they mad to do that?

Yes,...it was delicately carved..

It was a secret passage connecting their palaces...

Only small and calculated amount of light passed through it...

The glass work was done so that the interior portion 'glows' even in dim light...

Very aesthetically built.😊

They give the reason that - it was in a weak condition and hence they removed...!..

Did it appeared weak when u visited..?..
