Jyoti, I was thinking of you as I wrote that whole jashn ka drama part of the post, because I knew you would say ther WILL SURELY BE AN MU! But I just screwed up the courage to say there won't be an MU!😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆 Anyway, let's see ... my whole hunch is based on that dialogue in that makabra scene that the night of the snake poison and ben was the last lonely night of the lives of Jo-Ja. So I am feeling somehow that this will be Ekta's twist that we will all be waiting for MU based on the movie we have all seen, but she will do a surprise U-turn and convert it into a non-MU scene!

Now coming to the whole Election part .. for me its a big big disappointment 👎🏼 .. Why the hell Jodha had to go to Jalal and Salima to beg votes in favour of Ruqaiyya ?? Why why why ?? This is more like match fixing and not a fair voting at all 🤢.. In fact I will say Ruqaiyya played more fair by not playing any such games behind anyone's back but she played her major game right in front of everyone thus giving a shock to both Jalal and Jodha by voting for Jodha

If jodha wanted to take the leadership of Harem in her hand to improve the situation in Harem and so voted for her own self which is quite fair , then what made her go up to Jalal and Salima in secret and ask them to vote for Ruqaiyya .. not ask but almost force them I will say 🤢... Is it just to prove look I m so mahaan ?? and thats what I hate when CVs force the whole mahaan trait of female leads forcibly down our throats through such scenarios ...

Jyoti, the tarazu scene meaning got nixed by this match-fixing as you call it. But overall, if you see, at least they had some semblance of democracy and Jalal did not just issue his farman that either Jodha or Ruq will be in charge of harem. At least there was an attempt at election. But the blunder by Jodha was big. She not only got Salima and jalal to vote for Ruq but she herself - justto make it look natural - voted for herself. If she wanted Ruq to win, I think she should have herself voted for Ruq also! When you are fixing the match why not fix everything properly?

I would hv preferred if everyone gave their votes on the spot itself without any back-door plannings ... Whole election made me damn confused whether Jodha really wanted to win or loose ... ...


Ruqaiyya actually played fair and smart I must say by voting for Jodha and giving her the open challenge to go and handle Harem now that u hv the power ,.. ...Its more like Jodha puts the axe on her own foot and Ruqaiyya gets saved again 😡


Coming to Sujamal meeting Jodha in secret , I m glad at least Jodha told Sujamal that he did wrong and as Mughal begum , she will support her husband though I feel Sujamal was not totally responsible over those deaths as there could b back-hand of Shariff or Adham in killing those Mughals in such brutal manner 🤔... That back story might come out later post Jalal-Jodha misunderstanding ...

Yes as I have also written that was the good part that Jodha openly told him about those backstabbed bodies and he had a chance to clear the matter with Jodha. Phew! At least that part is in the open!

Anyways the whole election was a big disappointment for me only because of Jodha's pre-planning of votes behind their back which is nothing but more like match-fixing ...

Do they put weed in Ruqaiyya's hukka? Her short-sightedness is appalling. Jodha is a princess, and from what we have seen some of her up-bringing before her marriage, she would definitely have some knowledge of administration. Sure, she may not have much knowledge of Mughal laws, but administration is part laws, part common sense, which our Begum has in abundance. And she has enough able supporters in HB, Salima and probably Jalaal himself to help her wade through tough times.

I mean seriously, does she believe that a sword fighting, expert chess player will not have a clue on affairs of state? In scenes before her wedding, they had shown her openly giving her opinions on political matters.

Meanwhile, the devil in me wants Jodha to delegate her work, and give Ruqaiyya, Shahenshah's "night" duty arrangements.
