Not at all weak looking. But one thing I remember, the height of the corridor was a bit less, that is the area above one's head was not much. Also since it was very dim I think it would have been used only at night time with someone holding a light or mashal. In that case the walls must have looked beautiful because the coloured mosaic chips would have glowed. How insentive to remove this!
