In Fatehpur Sikri I saw the corridor that leads directly from jalal's rooms to Jodha's rooms so I think after he fell for Jodha he must have stopped visiting most of his other wives or concubines etc. Abhay can tell us whether this was true or not.

i know, Abhay...u know , few days back somewhere i had asked a question, that we all know Ruku remained childless... so was it coz she couldn't concieve after few miscarriages or it's coz Jalal never went to her as he was upset with her and has ended all relationships with her as his wife, and so she just remained as chief concert...

but i gow few criticisms, so i dropped it... leave it, better than hurting anybody's feelings..

even now sorry if i m hurting anybody...

If that was the truth (that Jalal stopped talking to Ruqu altogether and totally sidelined her), then how did Jalal agreed to handover his son's responsibility to Ruqu? If he really felt she was vice and not worthy to even to talk to, then he would never have allowed Jodha to let ruqu rear their son. he would have doubted about her ability to spoil the child's mind with evil thoughts and hence wopuld have kept his child away from her. If the history says, ruqu took care of Salim and also gave him the education about the ruling, then Jalal woulde have retained a better relationship with Ruqu. It si not that Jalal was too occupied with Jodha's thought ( like a pervert) and didn't want her to spare her time even to his son and hence parted with his son to have sole attention of Jodha.

I think that's true... ok, he married few more women/princesses after that, but how much time he spent with others than MUZ is a big question

That may be the right historical angle, maddy. But just for dramatic effect this Ekta may doa small scene where Jalal and Sujamal both track down Sharif in his abduction plan and just for a fleeting moment they both realize that they both love Jodha. Jalal will see that Sujamal's love for Jodha is genuine and good, and vice versa. So there may be a touching scene, before they again stand as enemies as a Rajvanshi and a Mughal.

not son's responsibility... it was grand son's reponsibility, he gave ruku... we all know him as Shah Jahan (khurram)

I am told that even that theory that he handed over salim to Ruq to briung up was not factually correct. there seem to be two theories about all this - one theory favours Ruq as a favoured wife of jala and another theory says Ruq was sidelined.

Yes I am realizing how irritating! I had read this on your thread. Maybe somebody else wrote it. My mistake. I read your thread and all replies. Remember reading there.
